MasukSERAPHINA
Cold chills seeped down my bones as I stuffed my bags angrily. My wolf growled low in my chest. Irritation crawled down my spine as I packed every last bit of my stuff into my box. My wolf perked up her ears. I heard the lock click on the door and I felt uneasy. I had expected him to stay at his brother's place… not here at his home.
The door opened and Kelavda stilled. His eyes blew wide as soon as he saw me. My wolf snarled and showed her fangs.
"Baby no… please baby do not do this." he begged. His voice was shaky as he approached me. I slammed my box shut. My claws scraped the cardboard.
"That is the last of my stuff, Kelavra. I will drop the keys by your counter on my way. I have nothing more to say to you. Do not approach me. If you see me, look the other fucking way. From here on… we are back to being pack strangers." I deadpanned. I refused to look at him. My wolf was done.
He had stitches by the side of his face. He had a cut on his lip. Purple under his eyes. His wolf was bruised. He had been beaten pretty good.
"No… Sera wait… please listen. I can explain. It is not what it looked like. I was asleep. My wolf was knocked out. I had no idea she was there… or…"
A scoff from me had him halting his words. A growl rumbled up my throat. His fucking audacity. Had I been so blind? So in love I did not notice?
"I will not ask you how long you have been at it. How often you have other she-wolves flocking to you… How many she-wolves you have fucked. Or who you have knotted. But do not play me for a fucking fool, Kelavra. I made it clear. We are over. My wolf rejects yours."
He dropped to his knees. His lips echoed off the wall of his den. He kneeled at my feet. Tears streaked from his eyes to his cheeks. It caused my heart to ache. My wolf whimpered. But no. I would not do this with him anymore.
"Fine… believe what you want. Please. Just let us sort this out. I would do anything for you. I love you, Seraphina.. I would never do anything to hurt you." he pleaded. He begged. He shamelessly broke into loud sobs. I wished I could believe his words but… I had pressing issues at home.
"I saw all I needed to see. It is over." I uttered coldly. I looked down at his face. A slow sense of deja vu crawled down my spine.
This position… I had witnessed it before. Silas had been in this position once. On his knees. Begging.. It could not possibly be that…
I shook my head. Shoving that thought away. My wolf growled at the memory. Kelavra chased after me. But I moved on autopilot. The door swung open and he rushed after me just in time for a car to pull over by his driveway.
"I have never liked you. Do not approach her ever again." My mother's voice came from the car. I fell into the backseat. Kellan stood there frozen. He did not dare move.
My mother ignited the engine.
"I warned you. I told you about that bastard. You never listen." she spoke. Her words blurted out harshly. A mist of tears formed in my eyes. My wolf tucked her tail and whimpered.
"Why? Because I am not good enough? Because I am the loser? The less bright wolf in the pack? The little omega no one wants?" I snapped. I lost every bit of self control and restraint I had all along. My claws dug into the seat. She pumped the brakes. Her eyes zoned in on mine.
"Darling… I did not mean…"
"No. That is exactly what you meant, Mother. I am not like you. I will never be good enough like the rest of the pack wolves. I am not you. My wolf is not yours."
"No, Seraphina. I only said that because Silas was his best friend. His almost brother. And he dated you. You are the reason Silas went away, Seraphina. You are the reason his wolf went silent. There is no point in laughing at the truth. You know this. Kelavra turned his back on his best friend for you. You believed he would not do the same to you?" she asked. Gently. She explained so softly I could not even get mad at her. My wolf knew she was right.
I drew in a sharp breath. My fangs bit down on my lip. Refusing to cry anymore.
The rest of the car ride was held in silence. Just like I had expected. She drove off as soon as I had gotten to the pack mansion. Her motherly duties were over. She had only driven me here to ease her own wolf's guilt anyway.
I stomped off the stairs up to my room. I flicked on the light switch. A loud screeching gasp fled my lips. My wolf snarled loud and deep. My claws shot out.
"Fuck…" Silas groaned. Both of his hands slammed into the sides of my head. He caged me in against the wall. His wolf pressed against mine. My wolf trembled but did not submit.
"You scream so pretty… Sera." he whispered. His lips pressed down on my ear. His fangs grazed my skin. A growl rumbled from his chest.
"Go on… snarl like the bitch wolf you are. Remember this position?" he asked. I jerked my head sideways but remained trapped between him and the wall. I raised my hardened gaze to lock with his. My wolf bared every fang she had.
"I do remember it. Get out of my room." I snarled with every bit of fight I had left in me. My claws extended to full length. My wolf was ready to rip.
His teeth grazed over my ear. He bit it… almost playfully. He pressed his weight against me.
"And if I do not? What would you do?" he asked. His voice was low and menacing. But I stiffened. I felt an obvious hardness between his thighs. My eyes dropped down. My wolf scented him.
He was hard.
SILASShit… I am hardI shoved her off me, her body slamming against the floor with a very harsh impact, her wolf filled gaze locked on mine, heat crawled up my cheeks and face as I stormed right out of her room , my heart racing hard against my chest, my wolf was pantingI glanced down at my cock, standing proud and pushing a fucking tent in my pants, really, I could not fucking believe it"Silas" my father's cold voice thundered in the pack mansion, my wolf startled at the sound, my feet moved faster than I could think, I was down in the same spot I had been two years ago"Father" I muttered, the word came out as a bare whisper, "Twelve hours, you had barely returned to the pack in twelve hours and there is already news of you beating up your sister's boyfriend, must you always cause her hell" he demanded, of course he had tabs kept on me, and I was being blamed, I had saved his daughter from that cheating mutt, and really, what on earth was he on about her being my pack sister"I…

SILASI stiffened… her scent hit my nose. My wolf lifted his head inside me. Everyone in the hallway went still. Their breaths caught. A few lower rank wolves lowered their eyes."Silas…" she called out. Her breath hitched as I turned to face her. My wolf growled low in my chest. Her red wavy hair blew across her face. Her slender figure had become fuller. She looked bolder… tighter… more colorful. The round glasses still stayed on… but she was beautiful. It made my inner wolf go silent for a breath."He is bleeding… stop… stop it… please." she whispered. Her breath was shaky. Her wolf whimpered under her skin. She stared past me down to Kelavra laid on the floor bleeding out of his nose. His lips were cut. His face was bruised up. His wolf was cowering inside him.I let go of him. I shoved him against the wall. My claws retracted slowly. I stood my full height. A growl rumbled up from my chest.A playful… devilish grin stretched across my lips. I tilted my head… glaring at her with
SERAPHINA2 years laterI stared at my phone. The hunt was over. My pack had taken the championship.I screamed so loud my wolf howled with me. Thorne groaned. My mum grumbled. This was the final match of the season, and my pack had beaten them all."Pull over," I ordered the driver behind the wheel. He glanced back at my mother. She groaned in frustration."That boy will be your ruin. I do not approve of him. I told you a million times already," Mom complained. I planted a quick kiss on her temple and did the same with Thorne ."Bye Dad," I greeted him. Then I got out of the car and hailed a taxi right away. I had told Kelavra I needed a break. I said I was going on a pack seminar with my mother because she practically begged. Alpha Thorne felt it was a good weekend to bond. But we won. I knew Kelavra would be at the party thrown at the pack hotel tonight. He would probably be high as a kite. But I could not just leave him hanging. I would surprise him. He would not expect me to com
SERAPHINA HE obviously does not love my mother, to Alpha Thorne she was a perfect mate… a Luna to lead. A strong mate. And I? Was nothing but collateral fucking damage."She is in safe hands, Dad. I will have her checked into all her classes. SERAPHINA is in very good hands," Silas spoke, smiling wider. His golden retriever mask was pulled on for our parents to see."Thank you, Silas. I just had to be certain you had her back. So kids, there will be no honeymoon. There is a pack meeting for Thorne and me tonight. We might be home late or take up a hotel," Mom explained. She ran her fingers through my hair with a smile. She loved me. But I could not stomach what she had done to me."Bye, Thorne," I greeted. He hummed a goodbye with a sincere smile. I shut the door. I could hear other voices and Silas opening a door as well. Soft footsteps pattered behind me. I refused breakfast because, moon help me, I was already damned before I sat a few inches away from a wolf who had dug a silver
SERAPHINAPrayers are very dangerous things, I learned that the night my mother got mated to the alpha king. I had spent years begging the moon goddess for a brother. When Silas Thorne walked into my life, I started begging to take back my wish.My fingers trembled around the bouquet of wildflowers I held on my mother's behalf as we all smiled into the camera. My inner wolf paced beneath my skin, fear and panic thrumming through our bond. I glanced sideways…he wasn't there. Gone as soon as the picture was taken. I dragged out a loud huff of air, relieved that I could finally calm my racing heart."The ceremony's over, this is the last picture. I need to shift and run, Ma," I whispered against my mother's ear. There were still a few pack guests lingering around, but that wasn't my main problem. I needed to get safe in my room before that grinning devil came back around.Mom gave me a slow nudge, whispered a few words of thanks. Her mate, Alpha Thorne, seemed way too busy with the visi
