As my gaze swept the number of pack members bowing, I noticed some people were in their shifted form, I could hardly tell if they were servants or warriors, or ordinary pack members. I decided they might be the first most likely.

Wolves of different colors of furs were present.

My eyes caught the amber eyes of a young wolf. He peeked at me; curiosity evident as he stared.

I winked and he quickly brought down his eyes, staring at the floor once again.

I couldn't help but notice that I didn't see Mia and Thorne. Their car was before ours so they came in first.

Every other person in the convoy was around except for the both of them.

I knew she was safe, but still I felt very uneasy. She is the only one I knew around her, the only one who I can comfortably have by my side and be rest assured. They aren’t planning to separate the both of us, are they?

I needed to find her, I needed someone familiar on my side.

I would ask Dravon of her whereabouts when we got inside.
