It takes away my pain.

I head out of the storeroom and towards Lucia. She is busy stirring the soup.

Smells so nice.

"What do you need me to do?" I asked.

"Oh yes. The carrots needs chopping so does the ginger and garlic. We are making the bosses' favourite today. He loves vegetables "

I nod as I moved closer to the carrots on the island and began chopping.

"You must be wondering why we have a lot of workers in the kitchen here today " she said.

"Yes I am"

"Well we use to have a lot before but the boss executed all of them"

I gasped out of terror.

"What?"

My hands felt weak instantly.

She chuckled "Relax."

My heartbeat picked up.

"They were spies. And one thing the boss hate are spies"

Oh god. This place is terrible.

"And they poisoned everyone's food while i was away. They had no idea that I and the boss were watching them from the record room. So he made them eat the food and shot them while they were choking"
