The Final Accord

Ava's POV

The talk with Cade and his council went as planned. A little better than I thought, actually. I expected that they would be more insistent on getting benefits, but they were quite reasonable about it.

At least, Cade was.

Now, I had to find a way to contact other Packs before I left.

I only had a few more days left before I returned to the Sulk Pack. I needed at least three Packs under my belt to help bolster Cade's defense against Blood Moon's attack.

With that in mind, I was out of the Pack the next day and headed for a different Pack.

Just as I expected, the skepticism about my status died down whenever Lyanna showed her overwhelming strength, and the mention of Cade's Pack made the next few Packs easier to convince to join my alliance. I even convinced a few Packs which were a little more powerful than Cade's.

For those Packs, I used my overwhelming number to my advantage and soon convinced them to join as well.

There was only one more Pack I needed to score before

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Confronting The Truth

Dravin's POV The door to my office burst open as Soren stormed in without bothering to knock. I could barely be surprised at that since I had already sensed him coming long before he reached me, but the rudeness was unlike him. "Well, come on in," I said sarcastically. "The Luna has reappeared," he said, his tone serious. "She's been spotted in Stormclaw and, as we speak, she is on her way back here."I couldn't explain what I felt in that moment. Relief? Disappointment? I didn't know. As such, I was unable to react in the way Soren would have expected me to. "Is that so?" I said dryly. "Good for her."Soren gave me a glare in response. "You're so lucky you're my Alpha and you could kill me with barely any effort." "Or what?" I asked. "Or I would have clobbered you hard and then made sure to give you a stern lecture on appreciating and respecting what you have." "Avala is also my possession," I replied. "No," Soren shook his head. "You lost her the day you decided to disr

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    A King Torn Between Two Moons

Dravin's POV Soren led Avala out of my office as I dug myself deeper and deeper into the spiral that was my thoughts. Every one was more disturbing to admit than the last, and they all scared me to even admit. The truth was bare, stark naked in front of me, but I would rather die than accept it. I loved Irikah.I might have loved her a little too much, but I loved Irikah more than anything else. She was everything. My world. The door opened, and Soren came in alone this time and stood at the door, watching me. "What?" I asked, my voice colder than it should have been. It surprised even me. "I've seen that look in your eyes too many times," he sighed as he stopped in front of my table with a frown. "Keep up whatever train of thought you're on right now, and the next time you are yourself, half of the region might be dead."I glared at him in response. "I can control my emotions.""You've had two Betas who dedicated their lives to killing you until my master came along. I'm pret

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    What I Did For Love

Dravin's POVI froze for a few long seconds before looking up at Soren in pure shock. He looked just as shaken as I was. "She isn't dead?" "Apparently not," Soren said, his voice a little nervous. "She hasn't changed either.""How?" I asked. "Didn't I give her enough?""I don't know, but she's back, and she wants to speak to you. She said it's urgent.""Who's Avala?" Camilla asked. I had forgotten she was in the office. "No one you should concern yourself with," I said coldly. "Leave.""What?" she asked, confused. "I thought you've forgiven me.""This is no time to throw a tantrum," I hissed. "Get out."Camilla opened her mouth to talk, but my glare shocked her silent. She seemed a little conflicted, but her fear eventually gave way as she grabbed her things and headed for the door, which Soren already held open.Once she was gone, I turned my attention to Soren. "Get her in here now."Soren nodded and followed after Camilla, leaving me to my thoughts. How was this possible? I

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Death Has A Deadline

Dravin's POV It's been about two days since Elora mysteriously disappeared and only three more days left before she has to come back. The plan was for her to be back here in one week, and it's quite annoying that there has still been no sighting of her.It has plagued me a couple of times. I've asked myself why I was worried. Why her disappearance affected me so much.If anything, she should be the one eager to be back here because her life is in literal danger. If the goddess, in her infinite foolery, is right, she will die in ten days unless I claim her.Why am I even bothered about her death? It's unlikely that she's Irikah. She looks nothing like her.Their only similarity lay in the eyes. What exactly keeps me so intent on saving this girl? Especially when the decree came from that damned goddess.Taking a few minutes to manage my thoughts, I let out a quiet sigh. She can do as she pleases. If she runs away, she'll be dead in a few days anyway, and it wouldn't be my fault.Convi

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    The Art Of War And Words

Ava's POV Cade stared at me with a confused expression."I don't know exactly what I have gotten my Pack into, and I would appreciate it if you explained.""Oh, yes," I nodded. "It's pretty easy. I will be using your influence to encourage others to join me."Cade tilted his head in confusion."You do know that we barely have any influence, right?"I nodded calmly."That's the reason I came here.""Then, what are you talking about?""Are you the weakest Pack in the region?""No," he replied."There you have it," I shrugged. "To some Packs, even you are untouchable enemies—or at least enemies they would lose to. We can intimidate or encourage them into joining our cause.""Then, what happens after that?""I will use you a few more times, and then we use our numbers to encourage others. There is, in fact, strength in numbers.""So, basically, you are trying to form an alliance?" an elder asked."An alliance, huh?" I said as I mulled it over. "This is a bit more than an alliance. An all
