The bed creaked, mixing with the sound of our skin brushing against each other. My eyes burned every time I caught sight of Dent’s photo right in front of me. Like I had no shame at all doing this in this room—staring at his face in that frame while behind me, Xavier was filling the emptiness I had.

Our bodies felt like they were made to share this kind of pleasure. The resistance I once had had slowly turned into surrender. Submission. And eventually, I gave myself completely to the desire.

“What are you doing, sweetheart? Why do you sound like that?” Dent asked over the phone.I covered my mouth with the back of my hand. My eyes squeezed shut, trying to hold back a moan. But the more I tried, the more relentless Xavier became beneath me. His hands gripped my hips tightly, then pushed himself deeper without mercy.“Hmmpph!”“Olivia? Are you okay? You sound like you’re in pain,” Dent said, his voice laced with concern. One of my hands pressed against Xavier’s chest. With a pleading look, I begged him to stop moving for a moment. I shook my head quickly. But Xavier completely ignored me.His movements hit that sensitive spot, making my back arch on its own. My breath caught when his thumb found me, pressing, circling, then pinching hard.“Ah—”My voice broke off, stuck in my throat. My body tensed, trying to resist, but it was useless. Until everything collapsed in one overwhelming wave I couldn’t hold back.Xavier didn’t grin widely—just the corner of his lips lifted slig

“What? Are you insane?!” Elena snapped. She shot up from the couch and stood right in front of me, her face flushed red. “How could you do this to Dent? His own brother?” she yelled before pacing away. She pressed her fingers to her temple, walking back and forth. After a moment, she stopped and asked again, “How long has this been going on?”I rubbed my forehead. “Maybe… a little over a month.”Elena’s jaw dropped. “You—what were you even thinking, huh?!”I leaned back against the couch, letting out a heavy breath. Just as I was about to answer, Elena cut me off. Her face had gone pale.“What… is it because Dent is infertile?” she accused.I quickly shook my head, denying it. “It’s just…” I met her fiery gaze. “…there’s something I can’t get from Dent. I tried to hold on, I really did. But ever since I met Xavier… everything changed.”Elena groaned in frustration. “Olivia, I might’ve tolerated it if it was with someone else. But this…” Her voice weakened. “He’s your brother-in-law. Y

The resistance I once had had slowly turned into surrender. Submission. And eventually, I gave myself completely to the desire.I gripped the damp sheets. I didn’t even know if it was from our sweat or from what he was doing to me.“I can’t take it anymore, please stop!” I begged, my face pressed into the pillow, my moans muffled. I turned my head, looking at Xavier as he gripped my hips, pushing himself deeper. My body reacted faster than my mind—and what I hated most was how completely I was losing control.“Stop…” my voice cracked. “I mean it, Xavier.”“Stop? You’re clenching around me like you don’t want me to pull out

I paced back and forth in front of the dining table, biting my nails until they hurt.No.There’s no way it was Antony. If it really was him, he would’ve told Dent. They’re close—there’s no way he’d keep something this important to himself.Anxiety swallowed me whole. I couldn’t even close my eyes for a second. The exhaustion and sleepiness were gone, especially when I went back to the bedroom and saw Dent.Slowly, I crouched down beside the bed, facing him as he slept. My hand reached out, brushing over his face, before my gaze shifted to the bottle of medicine on the nightstand. That medicine… something was definitely wrong.Without Dent knowing, I took it. The next day, when Dent and Xavier left for work, I went to a large pharmacy and asked the staff about it.“Does this really not have a label? It’s completely plain like this?” the pharmacist asked, examining the cloudy glass bottle carefully. When she took out one of the pills, her eyes narrowed. “This is medication for prostate

“Tell me, Xavier. What kind of drug did you give Dent?” I grabbed the bottle and held it up at him, even as he kept that innocent look on his face. “This… this isn’t meant to help him, is it?” I accused.“Why are you accusing me out of nowhere?” Xavier shot back. He reached into his pocket and showed me his chat with Jonathan about the drug’s function. But even after his long explanation, I still didn’t believe him.If it wasn’t the drug, then what made Dent completely unresponsive? Exhaustion? Stress? Or what?“I already told you, why keep holding on to Dent?” Xavier said sharply. He stepped closer, closing the distance between us. My body fell back onto the bed. He snatched the bottle from my hand.Holding it up in front of my face, he said, “If even this drug can’t help him, then what are you still hoping for? You’re just going to keep waiting?”Xavier set the bottle on the nightstand and pinned me down. His hands grabbed my wrists and pressed them above my head.“Xavier, let me go

My unease about those footprints slowly faded. Nothing happened after that, even after a week passed. Dent was still the same. He didn’t act like someone who had caught his wife cheating. My mind kept running in circles—who had come that day? Did they hear everything that happened in Xavier’s room? And why hadn’t they told Dent until now?I let out a long breath, my shoulders slumping as I leaned back against the sofa, waiting for Dent to come home from work. When I heard Xavier’s car arrive earlier than usual, my body tensed just from the sound of his footsteps. The echo of his shoes rang across the floor before he appeared, dressed in a black shirt and slacks, his doctor’s coat hanging from his hand. He paused in front of me, meeting my eyes. Without saying a word, he walked off. Just like that.My request to keep our distance had truly reset everything. Xavier went back to being cold and indifferent, and I… I became the sister-in-law trying to build a wall between us.But my body w

One word: amazing. This must be what real lovemaking feels like. There’s no emptiness. None of that hollow, bland feeling I used to have every time I was with Dent. Xavier hasn’t even truly started yet, and my body already feels weak.I watch Xavier as he takes off his pants. Just sitting up has al

“Seven days. And by then, you’ll be mine, Olivia.”The words sounded threatening, yet at the same time they promised something dangerously forbidden. Goosebumps prickled across my skin as Xavier whispered them right beside my ear, his hand sliding over my hip before cupping one of my buttocks.I ga

My clinic was closed today. No one was there except me and Olivia—we had already planned to come here after leaving the café. Using the excuse of monthly grocery shopping with Amanda, I managed to pull Olivia away from the café and ended up in my office. The moment my office door shut, I kissed Oli

I thanked God in that very second when the neighbor kid’s ball came crashing into our kitchen window. The glass shattered across the floor, some of it cutting into my bare feet. But instead of pain, I felt relief.Xavier’s attention was no longer on me. He rushed over, checking me over with a panic
