Kevin Ace

Chapter 2.

Subtitle: Kevin ace

 Kevin Ace, the only male grandchild and heir of the ACE group of companies is a prominent and well known name in the business field, every ceo, manager, and business worker most have heard of the name ACE either in articles, news or in person.

There is not much to say about him because he is a straight forward and Frank cold man who doesn't show any emotion and likes to dish out orders to his employees who have to carry them out while murmuring.

Kevin ACE is 6.1 feet, has a lean figure but a very broad and masculine chest and abs, his physique can be described as that of a perfectly built athlete, his strong long limbs are one of his most prominent and intimidating features, he walks with the aura of a demi god and is a total germaphobe, every single one of his employees are either perfect or atleast close to perfect.

Describing his facial looks is another task that has to be done carefully, both a well sculpted face and a perfect jawline one would wonder why he looks so perfect even from afar, his lips always look fresh and succulent that one would wish to kiss the hell out of them at once, perfectly shaped eyebrows, cold grey eyeballs and a sinister smirk that he carries along everywhere he goes, one can't forget his slick black hair that is always styled in a different shape every day.

"Boss.. the cooperate dinner is in two hours, will you like to go straight to the hotel or go home first?"

His assistant who almost looked like a model with his perfect physique asked.

"Drive to the mansion first. I need to check on the old man."

Kevin replied as he whipped out his iPad ans turn it on, unlocking it and then looking through some files while they drive to the mansion which was about ten kilometers away and was in a secluded elite estate in the most quiet and elite neighborhood of Shanghai.

As the car drives up towards the garage and came to a stop Luke who was Kevin's assistant quickly walked out of the driver seat and dragged the door open for his boss who stepped out of the car magestically, Kevin handed Luke the iPad before walking towards the main entrance or the large mansion.

"Welcome young master!"

The maids and guards who were lined up in front of the main door all greeted him with a bow, Kevin on the other hand just walked into the already opened door without replying them which was something they had all expected already.

"Daddy!"

A cute boy yelled as he ran his way towards Kevin who shifted a wide smile on his face the moment he saw the little one coming, the little boy ran up to Kevin and hugged his knees tight.

"Little man how are you doing?"

Kevin asked with a smile as he bend down towards the little boy as he ruffled his hair.

"Daddy Gray missed you a lot. You never come to visit."

The little boy snapped with a pout and then began to pretend as if he was mad at his father.

"Little Gray is mad at daddy? Don't worry I will come spend the weekend with you next week."

Kevin coaxed the little one as he rubbed the boys shoulders, the five year old boy seemed to buy his excuse and smiled widely.

"Gray come back inside and finish your meal!"

A strict voice ranged in Kevin's ears.

He stood up from the floor and looked ahead of him to see his mother who is dressed in a pink short gown and had a spoon in her hands walked up to them.

He quickly greeted his mother with a hug.

"I thougth you went on a date with the lady old Dr Ace set you up with?"

His mother asked as she was confused as to why he was now at home instead of attending his blind date.

"Mother I've told you so many times that I am not ready to settle down yet, I have a very busy schedule and barely have time for my own son how can I add to my burden?"

Kevin groaned as he hates going down the same lane of arguments with his mother and grandfather again.

"That is why you need to find a girlfriend or a wife sooner Kevin.. someone who can look after Gray when you are away on your busy trips, the other day Gray came home crying because no one showed up at his school function again except his nanny, his classmates made fun of him for it.

Son... I am a very busy doctor and have to take care of my patients every single day so I can attend Gray's school functions even if I want to, old Dr Ace is old and barely goes out how do you expect him to feel?"

His mother scolded him as she took Gray in her arms and walked away holding him as she tried to hand him his feeding spoon.

Kevin sighed and turned around, walking up the long stairs leading to the top floors.

A knock sounded on the door of old Dr Ace's room, however the old man was too tired to answer and just stayed still, Kevin invited himself in when he noticed no one answered his knock.

"I hope you are in great health grandpa?"

Kevin asked as he bowed to the old man who motioned for him to seat down besides him.

"I just got a call from Mr. Wu, you dumped the young lady without even giving her a perfect excuse and offered to pay her back for her wasted time... Where are your manners young man? Who told you she was after your money? I specifically chose this lady out for you, Amber is a good girl and a popular singer in the country, she has a great reputation and would be on good influence to the family name why did you dump her?"

The old man rasped angrily, it was not the first second or third time Kevin was getting scolded by the old man so he was very much used to the feeling.

"Grandpa I do not like her and do not want to marry her.. in fact I am focused on the new branch we are about to set up in Kenya and would be traveling there a lot in the future, I do not have time to date and settle down."

Kevin said softly.

The old man sighed.

"You can't keep holding on to the past, just because one lady hurt you in the past doesn't mean you should keep holding on to it and keeping pushing other women away, it's high time you pity the poor kid.

I have tried my best to ensure that you get whisked to someone good and considerate but I see you are not appreciating my efforts, I would let you find a wife on your own, you have just a month to do that or you'll marry whoever I chose for you to marry next month."

The old man snapped, Kevin opened his mouth to say something but then decided againts it, he knew the old man was serious and he knew very well that what the old man said, he really meant it.

"Go apologised to Mr. Wu at once, he is a very important director ACE and I would not like you tarnish the good image he has of you!"

The old man snapped, Kevin knew he was dismissed already, so without saying much he stood up bowed and walked out of the room.

Crimson smiled shyly as she took out her phone from her designer bag and dailed a familiar line with a wide smile plastered on her face, it was her boyfriend TJ Wang who was a very popular member of the male boy band DRAGON.

She and TJ had began dating about a month ago, she was soo obsessed with him that the moment he asked her out she sad yes at once.

She had admired him since she first joined the company as a rookie artist, he never noticed her but she had a huge crush on him, about a month ago when the two of them were paired together as partners in an idol camp they attended the two somehow gee closer to each other and TJ confessed his feelings and asked Crimson to be his girlfriend.

The phone rang for a few minutes before he picked.

"Hello."

She greeted shyly as her manager stared at her intently, the two were walking together, although their manager has being suspicious of Crimson no one knew the were dating except for the two of them.

"How Ia my little bear coping? I heard you concluded your fansign, your getting more popular and trending on social media recently baby.

You must be tired.."

TJ replied her greeting with an exciting reply, Crimson blushed as she tried to walk faster than her manager but the woman was not buying it.

"I'm fine now TJ. your brithday is tomorrow, I will be back in Shanghai tomorrow and then we can go out on a date... What do you think?"

She asked TJ with a smile.

"Yes yes of course. Take care of yourself baby."

TJ replied as Crimson hung up on the call and cleared her throat, her manager didn't say anything as they both entered the elevator.

What TJ didn't know was that Crimson was already in Shanghai, in fact, she was in the elevator leading up to the rows of apartments that the artist in her company stay in, including her and TJ, she wanted to surprise him.

As soon as they both stepped out of the elevator her manager walked towards her own apartment after biding Crimson farewell.

Crimson walked past her apartment but walked back towards it and carefully kept her luggage in front of it before proceeding to TJ's apartment.

She made to ring the doorbell but then stopped and put in the password to his door lock instead, she wanted to surprise him.

As soon as she walked into the room the door closed on its own revealing a slightly dark room with only a dim light on, she stared around the living room and then concluded TJ was inside after seeing the TV that was on, two packs of popcorn and a bottle of half finished champagne.

She decided to go check in his bedroom wether he was in, as soon as she stepped in she stared around but couldn't find anyone in, she called his name softly but got no response.

Just when she was about to walk out of the room something caught her attention.

It was a short dress that was on the bed and a male short along with a shirt, she began to feel suspicious as she moved towards it gently and stared at the two different clothes.

She then saw a female th*ng right beside the bed and her eyes widened as tears formed around them, the bathroom door was opened, she quietly walked towards it and stared inside.

What she saw made the tears she was holding in fall abruptly and her heart beat increase in anger.
