My head is still swimming when Blaze shifts behind me, the iron band of his arm tightening across my ribs.

My body’s already trembling, every muscle aching from the rough rhythm he’s kept for what feels like hours, but he’s nowhere near done.

He catches both my wrists, dragging them down and pinning them behind my back.

He holds them there easily like a manacle. The strain in my shoulders forces my chest forward, leaving me completely open, completely his.

He breathes in slow and deep, pressing his face into my hair, and then his free hand slides down my front.

It doesn’t soothe—it grips. Hard. Claiming. He drags his thumb drags across my nipple, the pinch making me jolt before his hand leaves entirely to curl around my throat.

The pressure comes slowly at first, almost teasing, but it builds, cutting down each breath until my lungs fight for more.

Blaze is some kind of monster, poor Tessa will forever be more afraid of him than she initially was. With his obsession of Tessa I feel like someone will always be watching her. I feel like if the wrong person talks to her or she ever disappears he will become even more unhinged
