29. THE MORE I HATE YOU, THE MORE I LOVE YOU

Barra growled in his workroom alone. For some reason the more days the cold man always felt more and more attracted to the old feelings without his consent. He was even more confused when he saw the signs of his ex's closeness with David for the past month.

“Good morning, Sir. Can I help you?" asks David who is already in front of him.

Barra paused for a moment as he closed his mouth, “I don't have the right to ask ...Ah, forget it.”

The assistant GM smiled. Barra too exalts his ego so that it discourages the intention to conduct a brief interrogation of David.

“Do you want to ask about my relationship with Miss Rena? Don't you wonder why I called you that night?" David asked straight to the point.

Instantly the face of Barra turned sour. Suddenly the man shook his head quickly.

"Forget it. I can't wait to kick her out of this room next month," said the GM immediately turning his eyes to the report file on the desk.
