Aria’s POV

“I’m bored in this mansion,” I murmured while walking around. I haven't seen that jerk since yesterday. He didn't join me for dinner last night.

This mansion is actually huge. How can he live here alone? I can't even see anyone related to him here. It's just the maid, guards, and driver.

I looked around, then I remembered that there's actually a pool at the back of this mansion. I went back to my room to change into a swimsuit. After I was done, I went to the back of the mansion.

“Mrs. Montez, here's a snack. I checked your room, but you weren't there,” the maid said as she placed the snack on the table before leaving.

I could say that my life became more quiet but deadly. When I was living under my stepmother's control, I needed to do chores. I was working like clockwork. Since Dad passed away, it seems like I have to pay for staying in her house by working nonstop.
