Finally, I've arrived in front of the house. It's not too late yet, it's only half past seven.

"Mr. Sigit, could you please park this car inside again?" I said as I handed over the key.

"Sure, Miss," said the security guard.

Then I entered, and the door was opened by Bi Sanah, the household assistant who had been here since my late mother was alive, about fifteen years ago.

"Miss Dita, do you want to have dinner now?" she asked.

"I'm not in the mood to eat. I just want to go to sleep," I said as I climbed the stairs.

I immediately collapsed onto my plush spring bed. I tried closing my eyes, but it turns out I couldn't. The images of Chandra and Raisa being happy over there couldn't escape my mind.

So, this is how it feels to be hurt and betrayed? At the age of twenty-five, I'm experiencing it for the first time.

I am Dita Prameswari, the sole heir of a wealthy entrepreneur. Since I was ten years old, my mother passed away in an accident. So, only my father has always been there for me, busy as he is, he never forgets to give me attention. I've been surrounded by wealth since I was young.

My father always did whatever I wanted, but he also always provided me with examples to avoid becoming arrogant. Thankfully, even though I was spoiled, I always tried to respect others.

My father arranged my marriage to Chandra when I had just graduated from college in America. Despite living abroad for a long time, I never forgot the traditions of our culture. And even in marriage, I've maintained my dignity.

When my father arranged my marriage to Chandra, I already had a boyfriend. A young man from Korea, who happened to be my senior in college. We had been dating for over a year, but everything had to end due to the arranged marriage, especially since we came from different religious backgrounds.

According to my father, Chandra was the best potential husband who could bring happiness to me in this world and the hereafter. But if things had to turn out like this now, I can't blame my father. This is all my destiny.

I used to truly believe that Chandra was a good man because of his polite and well-mannered demeanor, and he never seemed interested in my wealth.

Before we got married, Chandra was just an ordinary employee in my father's company. He was an exemplary worker, known for his honesty, hard work, and devotion to prayers. He came from a poor family; his father was just a farmer.

For a long time, my father talked about him to me, but after the incident of the debt of gratitude, my father became more determined to make him his son-in-law. Since my father kept insisting, I eventually broke up with my boyfriend and accepted the arranged marriage, even though I didn't have any feelings of love for him at that time.

The wedding was held lavishly, and after we became a married couple, my father promoted him to CEO of our company, replacing me as I wanted to focus on being a housewife. And of course, my father gave him a Pajero car as a gift.

Two years ago, when my father started getting sick, we moved to the town of Jombang. He wanted to spend the last days of his life in his hometown. So, Chandra had to travel between Jombang and Kediri daily for work. His attitude remained unchanged, always showing his good side, leaving no room for us to doubt his sincerity.

Until a year ago, my father took his last breath and requested to be buried here, next to my mother's grave and his parents. Naturally, I became the sole heir to all this wealth after my father's passing. But I wasn't ready to step into the business world yet, so I entrusted the management of the company to Chandra.

Three years into the marriage, Allah hadn't blessed us with a child yet. Maybe we weren't ready to be parents. However, it didn't seem to bother my husband.

In this large house, I was assisted by two housemaids, a personal driver, a gardener, and two security guards on rotating shifts. Feeling restless, I decided to start an online business selling various cakes and decorative puddings. The results were satisfying, even though it was just a small endeavor. However, Chandra never knew about my online business.

Eventually, my business revealed Chandra's true nature behind my back. On my blue account used for promotion, I never posted pictures of myself or my family, so it's understandable that Raisa wouldn't know that Chandra is my husband.

Then I fell asleep and woke up again when Chandra woke me up.

"Dita, wake up. This is the order you asked for earlier," he said while handing me the order.

Still half-awake, I was surprised.

"What time is it?" I asked while rubbing my not-so-itchy eyes.

"It's already midnight. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Here's the receipt for the souvenirs you asked for. What wouldn't I do for my wife?" he said while touching my chin.

I quickly checked the order and the receipt; it was indeed a genuine receipt from a shop in Malang. How could he get this? Did he really go to Malang to buy this order?

"Let's go now," I said to Sigit. After sunset, I headed to the police station. Earlier, I had called a lawyer who we were going to meet at the police station. At exactly 8 PM, I arrived at the police station. The lawyer I had hired was already there. We went inside with Sigit.Mr. Chandra approached me while the lawyer coordinated with the police."Dek, why did you bring Sigit along?" Mr. Chandra whispered to me."What's the problem if I bring him alongŕ?" I replied, pretending to be clueless."Oh, I'm embarrassed to have him here. By the way, you didn't tell all the staff at our house that I've been arrested, did you?"I knew it; you must be embarrassed if all the staff found out. How could you not be embarrassed? You, who always acted arrogantly and self-righteous with all the staff at home, are now arrested by the police and proven to have made many mistakes."I only told Bik Sanah and Sigit, but I'm sure they've already told the others. Embarrassed? Why should you be embarrassed?

"Don't Play with Fire If You Don't Want to Get Burned."Satisfied, quite satisfied with what I felt today. Am I a wicked wife? Because I felt so happy seeing my husband powerless in handcuffs by the police.Let people say whatever they want about me; what matters is that today, I am immensely satisfied. Honestly, I didn't want to see his face like that, but I believe it's a fair exchange for what he's done to me all this time, especially considering he wanted to kill me yesterday. But wait! This isn't my true revenge; it's just a warm-up. There's one last surprise for you (a term of endearment). Now, enjoy my little game. You must have been shocked and disappointed when you saw me survive your wicked plan. Then the police came and arrested you. Pov Author In order to satisfy Chandra, Dita finally left the house that morning. Her main destination was the office, where she would monitor Chandra's activities through a surveillance camera.Dita intentionally drove her car a bit faster, both to reach the office quickly and to confuse Chandra's potential spies. After Dita's car passed through the gate, the man in a black jacket who had been sitting under the mango tree across from Dita's house immediately contacted his boss."Boss, the target has left the house. I'll follow her to see where she's headed. If the plan succeeds, I'll inform you," the surveillance agent with a deep voice reported."Good, do that. Keep following and contact me directly when she's no longer alive! I'm currently preparing for our victory celebration!" Chandra replied over the phone.Meanwhile, Chandra, who was enjoying an intimate moment with Raisa, felt extremely happy. He was very confident that this time he would be able to eliminate Dita and become

[Mr. Chandra just arrived. I told Miss Dita is out riding her motorcycle with Sigit.]Bik Sanah's message came when I was still at the computer store. I forgot to buy it this morning, even though I was supposed to place a camera at Raisa's place of business. But it turns out I forgot. It's okay; tomorrow or the day after, I'll go back there and see how Raisa responds to what I'm going to do to her future husband. So tonight, I decided to buy some cameras as stock.[Alright, Bik. I'll be home in about ten minutes. Thank you.]Then I rushed on my motorcycle towards home. I didn't even take ten minutes; I was already in front of my house.Without making a fuss, I put all my purchases and driving gear in Sigit's room, aka the security guard post. Then I entered the house wearing only jeans and a T-shirt, like I had just been out for a short walk. When I entered, Mr. Chandra was watching TV in the living room. Unusually, he never watches TV. Seeing me arrive, he greeted me with a smile, wh

"Dear, please let me know when Chandra returns. Just tell him I'm at the supermarket if he asks. I'll be on my way, Bik." I bid farewell to Bi Sanah that morning. For the time being, I paused taking cake orders. This time, I only served my special customer, Raisa. Money wasn't my main goal in selling cakes online; it was more about pursuing my hobby and talent. Every time I completed an order for a customer, it brought a sense of pride. Before heading to Raisa's place, I stopped by a Taekwondo training center. I quickly registered there and would start training in the evening. I did this to learn self-defense, just in case of a sudden attack. When your husband, who's been married to you for three years, turns out to be your potential killer, you need to know how to defend yourself. Then, I directed my motorcycle towards Raisa's place. This time, I wore a jacket and dressed like a racer to avoid being recognized. Luckily, Sigit had brought his son's motorcycle home earlier, so I borrow

"Hey, you're not going to the office today, are you?" Chandra asked during our breakfast.I just shook my head and continued eating. Honestly, I'm tired of meeting and talking with aChandra, but I have to keep doing it until I achieve my main goal. Strengthen my heart, Allah, so I won't appear weak. To continue acting sweetly is quite challenging, sometimes my emotions overflow."I thought you'd be going to the office, dear. I wanted to invite you to come along. So you don't have to drive."Actually, I know you're not asking to carpool, but to make sure I don't cause any trouble at the office again. In my opinion, there's no need for me to keep going back and forth to the office, it's tiring. After all, I have many informants there, and every division sends their reports to me daily. Smart work. I have many plans outside the house for today."Not today. I just want to rest. I'm planning to watch a Korean drama marathon!"Mas Chandra's repeated inquiries are suspicious indeed. It seems
