Adrian’s POV—

“Dad! You summoned me?” I asked walking slowly inside Dad’s study. The room was so large that though I could see Dad sitting on the chair behind his desk, I couldn’t quite make out the expression on his face! But I assumed it was serious since he was alone, smoking his pipe which he does whenever he is angry or lost in deep thoughts! I presumed the first option! He is angry on me!

I walked slowly and reluctantly, trying to act normal while my heart was racing inside! I am afraid of nothing, no one, except for my Dad! He could easily disown me and if he does then I will be left alone, homeless and without a penny!
