"Your coming to the Annual Anniversary Party of the Company?" He remembers asking her while they were having lunch in a restaurant. He planned to ask her to be her date at the said party hoping she will say yes.
"Dad obliged me to attend. I'm not sure. Don't tell me it's compulsory for employees to attend?" She said in a naughty tone.
She used to attend yearly if he was not mistaken. In fact, her whole family never missed attending a single Anniversary Party of the Company. She stopped attending four years ago and by those years, he knew at the back of his mind he wished to see her at those events.
