CHAPTER 1- MOVING

CHAPTER 1

I've been preparing myself for the first of our school today. It's a little bit exciting, but somehow is a little bit nervous. Today, I'm starting my new life at Calvorie University. I heard a lot about that school and it gives the best opportunities for the students who enrolled there. My family expected me so much that I couldn't imagine what my life is going to be, if ever I started to move on my own and risk my own life to study hard. It's not easy like what I think, but I can work hard for it not to fail them. After preparing my things, I called Wave since he's going to fetch me here and we can go to Calvorie University together. Aziwave Moreno has been my boyfriend for almost two years. I met him when we're having a math competition but I won against him. He hated me at the beginning because he was too competitive at that time, but he started to like me. 'The more I hate, the more I love.' he said. He comforted me for almost 3years but then, on my 18th birthday, my debut, I finally said yes to him in front of my family, friends, and everyone who attended my debut saw what happened that time.

"Yes, babe?" He asked when he finally answered my call.

"You done preparing your things?"

"Hmm, yeah. How about you? Can I fetch you now? We're going to get our schedule for the first semester, and for choosing our dormitory." 

"I'm done, I'll wait for you here." 

"Okay, babe. I love you."

"I love you too." He's always sweet though he's too cool and bad looking. Our relationship is not public like everyone thinks. We're just keeping it in private, and lowkey.

I asked some help from my brother named Austin Gray Sev, also known as Sev. He's an Architect and getting professional but still single. 

"You sure you didn't want me to buy you a condominium nearly at your school? I think it's good than the dormitory at your school." He said while handling my luggage.

"No need, save your money instead." 

I saw our parents on the sofa, looking at us. Mom becomes emotional cause I'm going to live on my own starting tomorrow, she's always taking care of me like a baby even though I have already grown up. 

"I will miss you, baby!" She said and hugged me that tight. I hugged her back. Dad is looking at us.

"Stop that Rhea, you're too emotional for that. It's for her future, always think that." Dad said and looked at the things and boxes that I prepared and were going to take with me to my dormitory.

"Nah, I'm just worried about my baby. Can you just go here every weekend?" Mom asked. I nodded.

"Sure mom, but I will go here if there's no schedule for my class every weekend." 

"Where's Wave? Is he going to fetch you?" Dad asked and then finally I saw a man coming in our way. He's too cool at all while walking and looking at me. I didn't see him for a month after our graduation cause he's taking some vacation in another country with his family. He's holding paper bags and giving them to mom.

"How's your vacation?" Sev asked.

"It's good, spending my time with my family for the whole month." Wave said and looked at me and at my luggage at the floor. He gasped as he walked besides me, and gave me something in a red long small box.

"What's this?" I asked looking at the pink ribbon wrapped around the box. 

"Open it up. I bought that one abroad." He chuckled as I opened the box and saw what's inside. It's a necklace with an airplane pendant on it. Travelling is one of my dreams soon. And I want to travel to a different country with him after I graduate from college.

"Aw, that's so sweet. Honey, can you buy me a necklace like her?" Mom said to dad and chuckled. Wave helped me out to put the necklace on my neck. And that's so sweet thinking that the love of my life is doing this in front of my family. After that, we really need to go so we can choose a better dormitory in Calvorie University. I heard that choosing the best dormitory is for the first come, first serve. I don't think they change the rules now.

Wave is driving his own car and we're actually here at the gate of Calvorie University. It's too big as we can see, and I can even imagine her inside. The guards opened the gate for us, and Wave parked his car in the parking lot near the dormitory where we could see a lot of students falling in line. I think they are getting their schedules and picking the best dormitory here. Buildings here are awesome as I've imagined lately. I can stop looking at it.

While we're walking around, one of the teachers assists us.

"You must be Aziwave Moreno and Elyrhia Red Thomas?" How does she know about us? Our names?

"Yeah. How do you know us?" Wave asked.

"Well, according to the school where the both of you were, they sent us your good morals and grades. And smart students like the both of you never missed the chance to take the biggest opportunity that Calvorie University is offering." Best Opportunity? 

"What do you mean?" She smiled at both of us. I keep looking at the line of the students, I think they are 500 plus now though it's just quarter to eight a.m.

"Follow me and the both of you can see." We follow her and she takes us somewhere. I think jt's the dormitories. She stopped at the blue door, 126 room. And the name of the both of us is in there.

"This is the room of the both of you." She smiled again and gave the duplicate keys of the room to Wave. She opened the door and we can see how awesome the room is. There are plenty of flowers and furniture's inside. And it's totally complete. All we need is in there. The computer set, study table, and may more. It is also an air-conditioned room and there's only one big bed. 

"Why are you letting the man and a woman sleep in one bed?" I finally asked and put down the luggage at the bed.

"Calvorie University is setting a freedom for every student who enrolled here. And we don't want ourselves to be frustrated or what because of the strict system of this University." She said and opened the cabinet behind her. I saw some uniform's inside of the cabinet.

"Here's your uniform's. Everything you need is in here and call us if you also need something." She pinpoints the telephone behind the bed.

"And you're getting a free wifi in here cause the wifi in the whole school is too slow to load." 

I think there's something wrong with their system, but I also think that it's good that we're getting more accessible in here. She left us, and we started to arrange the room since Wave is too perfectionist.

"Can we change the bedsheet?" I asked him. He's cleaning the cabinets because there's too many dust in there. 

"I brought one." He said.

"I think there's something wrong in this University that they are treating us in the nice way. What do you think?"

"I think so too, but don't mind it babe. Just accept the opportunity that they gave us and study hard. Okay?" I nodded and he moved closer and hugged me. 

Today, we're starting a new life here at Calvorie University.
