"I miss you so much, babe..." Davien sighed heavily. I smiled weakly as I stared at his face longingly. He was still on his bed. His hair was disheveled, eyes were still a bit hoody, indicating that he just woke up.

"I miss you too. Why don't you come here? I heard that your sister, is here in Belleza Eterna?"

"I can't. For now, I think I won't be able to visit you, babe. My dad gave me a work and he wants me to finish it in one month. And Nalya is just a kid, babe. We don't get along that much."

"Hmmm..."

"What are you going to do today?" Davien asked tenderly.

"Uhm, today... I'm gonna have my tour with someone who's a resident here as my tour guide." I giggled out of excitement.

"That's a good idea. Show me your pictures, okay?"

I bit my lip and nodded. "Yeah..."

"Have you decided if you're gonna learn how to swim? Sure thing, locals of Belleza Eterna know how to swim. You can ask someone to be your swim instructor."

"I'm still thinking about that. Or I probably won't. I don't know. I'll see if I can do it." I laughed.

We talked for almost an hour. We just decided to cut the call when he said he's gonna take a shower. While I went downstairs to see what's happening there.

Blair was wiping the picture frames that were in the living room. She smiled and greeted me which I returned. I turned on the TV then made myself comfortable on the couch.

"You look exactly like your mother, Ma'am. Especially in this picture."

I just smiled at her. She was holding my picture which I think is the one with my mom. I think I was 12 years old that time. She died after a year. Exactly after my birthday.

"Her beauty is undeniable," Blair whispered as she stared at the picture.

Her mouth opened as if wanted to say something but words didn't come out and continued wiping the frames. She gently put down them.

"Blair, could you get me some snacks? I want chips. I like the spicy one, okay? And please, tell Fely to prepare popcorn. The caramel flavor," I asked her.

"Sure, Ma'am. Please, wait for it."

I was busy scrolling through social media while waiting for the snacks when I heard my father's voice. I saw him with Nabrel. I stood up from my seat to greet Dad. We didn't eat breakfast together because he already left.

"Dad! Where have you been? You left so early." I pouted. I quickly glanced at the man who's beside him. Nabrel was silently watching me like a hawk. I raised an eyebrow.

"We went fishing, Talianna. It has been a while since the last time I did it. I was with Nabrel." My father laughed heartily.

My eyes widened a bit. "Why didn't you tell me, Dad? You should have took me with you! I've been wanting to try it!"

"You're not allowed. The ocean is dark when it's dawn. And there's a lot of shark lurking. Do you still want to try fishing?" Nabrel suddenly commented with a serious tone. I lazily rolled my eyes at his ridiculous comment.

"I'm not talking to you."

"He's right, Talianna. The ocean is dangerous. And what if you fell down? You don't even know how to swim." My father's voice was stern.

"But I want to try it!" I almost stomped my feet but I suppressed myself from doing so because Nabrel is here! He will surely find it very childish!

"No. You won't try it. Nabrel, come on," my father said, dismissing the topic and walked away.

"Did you hear that?" Nabrel retorted before following my father.

I slowly released a sigh, calming myself. I aggressively seated on the couch. If Blair didn't bring the snacks for me, my mood would not change.

"The popcorn is to be followed, Ma'am. Fely is still cooking it."

"No problem. There's a lot of snacks in the pantry. You can get some if you want," I suggested but she just shook her head and said that she was still full.

I opened the bag of potato chips. Why does it feel like 5 pm is slowly approaching? I'm so bored here and I want to go outside already! I will tell Nabrel that we are going to visit island that my dad had bought. I wonder if there's something has changed in the rest house? It has been awhile since the last time I saw it.

The island was somehow neglected by my father since my mother's death. He bought that island as an anniversary gift for her that's why it has a big effect on him emotionally. But he hired someone to take care of it.

"I'm not quite sure. I wil try to talk to Kaloy later to find out." I heard Nabrel's low voice coming from behind. I saw him talking to Blair who was holding the bowl of popcorn.

"Okay. Just fetch me here." It was Blair.

The smell of the popcorn welcomed my nose when Blair put down the bowl in the small table infront of me.

"Thank you, Blair." I accidentally glanced at Nabrel. He was pouting while looking at the snacks on the center table. He even raised an eyebrow at me. I mouthed "what" and lazily rolled my eyes.

"Just call me, Ma'am, if you need anything. I'll just finish wiping the frames."

"Yeah, sure."

Blair went back to her job while Nabrel stayed, seriously watching me. My forehead creased.

"You're eating that in this early morning?" His voice was filled with astonishment.

"And what about it?" I snorted.

"Unhealthy foods are not good for your skin. Do you want to have acnes?" He raised a brow

"Of course not!" I hissed in an aggressive tone.

"Then stop eating that. I know that you don't want your skin to be ruined," he commented lazily. His eyes hooded and smirked.

"I only eat this once in awhile. And why do you even care in the first place?" I rolled my eyes as I aggressively put down the bowl of popcorn. Half of it fell on the table and some were scattered on the floor. I glared at this annoying man. He was just looking at me amusingly.

"See?! You always get in my business in a way that's totally annoying!"

"Is it my fault? You were the one who's acting like a child here." He even had the audacity to laugh!

"It's because you're annoying!"

He bit his lower lip and shook his head. "I'm not doing anything. What more if do something? You might not able to sleep if that's the case," he said in a mocking tone.

This... this brute! Is he really this annoying?!

"Get out." I pointed at the door while glaring at him. He was just biting his lip and obviously suppressing his smirk!

"Blair! Clean the floor! Faster!" I screamed out of frustration before I stood up to get away from that man!

"Brat..."

I swear! He said that! That made me frozen to my spot. When I looked at him, he was already smirking at me. He brushed his fingers through his hair and it fell down in an untidy way. A hint of amusement was written in his green eyes.

What did he just say? Did he just call me a brat?

I tried to calm myself as hard as I can. He's not worth my time, I told myself. So I turned my back on him and walked away.

He's always ruining my mood! Not just my mood! But my entire day! I refuse to make him my tour guide for later! He always makes fun of me! I don't know why I'm so affected with his remarks! He's so good at that! He always succeeds!

"Nabrel is a nice guy, Talianna. He's a hardworking man. That's why I hired him as your tour guide because I'm sure that you're safe with him," Dad commented when I told him that I don't want Nabrel to accompany me on the tour. We can hire someone else to be my tour guide! Nabrel is not just the only resident here!

I groaned out of frustration.

"Dad, I... I feel so unsafe with him. I don't even know him! What if he did something to me?"

But my father only heaved a deep sigh. I came to his library just to talk to him about this but it seems to me that he doesn't have any plan on considering my side!

"Stop being critical, Talianna. Do you think I'll just let a stranger accompany you? I've known Nabrel since he was in high school. I trust him more than his brother who's at your same age."

I was a bit astonished to heard that. Of course. He might have a sibling for all I now and for all I care.

"Fine! But once you found my body floating in the sea, you only have one person to search for." I know I'm being overly dramatic now. I just really don't want to be with that fisherman!

"Talianna," Dad said in a very serious tone.

I bit my lip and sighed. "Fine." I groaned before I shove off.

Crossing my arms across my chest, I was waiting for Nabrel who's fixing something in his boat that we're going to use. Wearing a deep sky blue flowy maxi dress with my white large brim fedora and Toga Pulla white sandals, I looked like a tourist here in Belleza Eterna. I brought my cellphone and camera with me. I will show Davien the beautiful scenery that I'm going to see. I'm sure he'll be happy to see it.

There are some people who greeted Nabrel. He just nodded his head. He talked to some of them and even laughed with them as if I was not waiting for him! He looked like someone who's campaigning!

"Sexy!" I heard someone whistled.

"Call her. Why is she wearing such a big hat?"

"I think she's a tourist."

"Nabrel, do you know her?"

I glared at these filthy men. I put more distance from them so they would notice that I do not want them near me. With my head held high, I looked at the surrounding, ignoring them.

What's taking you so long, Nabrel!!

"She's mine, Simon." I heard Nabrel's rough voice.

"Fuck you, dude! Amethyst will find out about this! She's gonna kill you, for sure!"

I sighed. Do they talk like this all the time? And who the hell is Amethyst? I thought his girlfriend is Blair?

I didn't even bother to look at them until they left.

"Seriously, what's taking you so long?" Irritation filled my tone.

"Just wait, Señorita," he mocked. It seems that he's doing this in purpose to ruin my day!

I glared at him murderously and I can't help but scold myself for finding him hot! His well built curves were visible through his clothing. His muscles at the forearms, biceps and chest strained against the fabric.

I immediately shifted my gaze to other direction. Is every fisherman here has a body like his?

"You should have fixed this morning whatever you are fixing now!" I was growing impatient.

"I was at the wet market this morning. I have a job there. This will only take few minutes. I'm sorry."

I bit my lip. For some reason, I couldn't find the right words to say.

I watched his every move. He couldn't see that I've been watching him because of my dark sunglasses. But I almost took a step back when he glanced at my direction, directly in my eyes. It was as if he could feel my eyes on him!

"Let's go, Señorita." He ran his fingers through his messy hair.

I can't believe he looked so simple yet very fine-looking man in his white t-shirt and khaki shorts! And I can't accept this! Why... just why...

I rolled my eyes at him. He was just standing there, watching me. A smirk was playing on his pink lips. His hair was completely disheveled, being blown by the fresh wind. This fisherman!

"Do you even know how to ride a boat?" I heard him. I avoided the sea water to touch my feet. I glared at him.

"Can you please move? We have to leave now, Nabrel! The sun is almost setting!" I almost yell at him especially when he chuckled as he shook his head before walking towards me. I looked away and squeezed my eyes shut.

Annoyed, I faced the sea, thinking how would I be able to drown this fisherman! How does my maid put up with him? Doesn't she get annoyed with his behavior? If he was my boyfriend... God, we won't last long!

"Hop in, Señorita."

"Will you stop calling me senyorita? Nobody calls me that!" I said through gritted teeth.

He pouted, playing innocent. "What would you want me to call you then?"

"Talianna! My name is Talianna! Do you hear me?"

"I know. But I prefer calling you señorita as it's suits you better. The typical rich kid girl who's hard to please..."

My jaw dropped. I laughed sarcastically. I tilted my head, urging him to say something more so that I could punch him if he talks in that way again.

"What did you just-"

"Come on. We still have a lot of place to go," he said coldly and started walking towards the boat.

I clenched my fist tightly. I heaved a deep sigh, calming myself. My whole system was already boiling because of him! He succeeded again in ruining my day! How would I get my revenge?!

"God, move faster!" He sighed dramatically and I glared at him.

My steps were heavy towards the boat. I could see how hard he tried to suppress his laugh.

"How would I get in? My sandals will get wet." My tone was calm but each word was emphasized.

He lazily rolled his eyes. Did he really do that?! To me?!

He swiftly moved out from the boat. He effortlessly pulled the boat in the to remove it in the water. I was crossing my arms while watching him.

"Get in. Move faster or else I'm gonna leave you here alone." He shamelessly threatened me.

"Ha! Do it! As if I care if you'd ever do that!" I know he won't do that. He can't do that! He wouldn't wish my dad to be mad at him.

"Fine. Before it gets dark, you should be here already. Take care of this boat. This is mine," he arrogantly said before turning his back on me.

I blinked as my mouth agape. I didn't even know how to react when I saw him started walking away. I was completely frozen to my spot, deeply shocked.

He left! He really left me here! All alone!

Someone approached him and he even laughed with them!

"Nabrel!" I screamed his name. As much as I hate it, my voice shook. I saw other people looked at my direction but I couldn't care less.

Nabrel looked at me and it seemed that he didn't expect that I will call him. His hands were on his hips when he faced me, as if getting tired of me.

"Come back here, you brute! Dad will find out about this! I will tell him everything you have done to me!" I yelled. My breathing became fast. He really knows how to make me lose my cool. He's embarrassing me!

He shook his head before walking towards me.

"What? I thought you don't care if I leave you here alone?" he said while smirking.

"I hate you," I said quietly before turning my back on him. I could feel the tears forming in the side of my eyes. I can't believe it's possible to cry over someone because of irritation.

"Talianna, come on. Stop being a brat."

My blood boiled even more. He followed me but I didn't look at him. I aggressively removed my sunglasses and wiped my cheek.

"No! I'm going home. I'll tell this to my dad." My voice shook, still not looking at him.

I felt him gently grabbed my arm. I tried to get away from him but he didn't let me. I don't want him to see me crying!

He clicked his tongue. "Let's get going. We still have time." He tried to catch my eyes but I refused. I pulled away from him and took a steps backward.

"Do not touch me." I emphasized every word.

"I'm sorry. Am I really that disgusting for you?" His voice became hard.

I froze a little, astonished by his words. His face was serious, no trace of any humor, unlike awhile ago. But it was just for a second. Because the moment he saw my face, I saw how shocked he was.

"That's not what I meant, Nabrel! You always make fun of me!" I said like a kid.

His jaw clenched as he kept on staring at me with a blank expression.

"That's why you're crying now? Because I'm annoying you?"

I swallowed hard as I took a step back. "I'm not crying! Why would I cry?!" I gave him a murderous look.

He bit his lower lip and looked away.

"Are we still going?" he asked without looking at me. His brows knitted as he stared at the ocean.

I wore my sunglasses and left him to walk towards the boat.
