CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

MANNY

Daddy? What was going on? Did Andrew marry someone in the past and they had a child?

Manny looked at the stuck-up lady and then glanced at the little boy holding her hand. This was Andrew's child? But they looked nothing alike!

She took a better look at Andrew, perhaps she had missed something.

“Kate?" Andrew finally spoke up, his voice hoarse with shock.

Kate smiled cheekily and surprised him with a hug.

Manny stood still like a statue, she didn't know how to react. Should she be happy that she no longer has to give Andrew a child or sad because someone had already beaten her to it?

Nevertheless, she didn't say a word. She stayed, allowing Andrew and Kate to have their moment.

After a long while, Andrew remembered Manny. He cleared his throat, “This is Manny..my wife.” He added the last statement like it left a bitter taste in his mouth and Manny didn't fail to notice.

Why was he being like this?

Kate gave her a condescending look and then plastered a fake smile on her face.
