LOGINChapter Three—The Lady In Red
“Who’s that?” Theo gestured to the woman in the red dress down the club minutes earlier, clearly looking miserable as she was on her fifth drink of the night. He’d wanted a quick lay, however none of the women in the club excited him as he watched the rest of the partygoers from above, his section in the VIP area giving him a wide view of the whole area. He was bored, irritated, somewhat tired and ready to go home—that is, until his eyes caught a glimpse of her. He’d never seen her before, and he was a man of the observing eye. She was gorgeous. Lost. Sad. He watched intently as she ordered more than a few whiskeys to count, ignoring the rest of the men who’d come over to her side of the bar. He smirked, feeling somewhat possessive over the new catch, as she only spoke to his bartender with a smile on her face. “Should I ring her up for you, boss?” One of his men asked and he frowned deeply. “Ring her up?” He turned around, “What do you think I am? A trafficker?” “No, boss.” “Idiot.” He grunted. “Is she a customer?” “First timer.” The manager of the club and his cousin, Addario muttered from beside him, “You’re clearly barking up the wrong tree, Theo. She’s not your type.” Theo’s brow arched, he could’ve feigned the act of being insulted, but then again Addario always spoke the truth and that annoyed him deeply. Sure, she wasn’t his usual type, but she was still a beautiful woman regardless and the red dress she wore was very much pleasing to the eye. He loved them flashy, his damsel of the night reeked of sophistication in a simple way, almost like she was meant to be at a fancy restaurant instead of the bar. And so he adjusted himself and rose to his seat. He didn’t care go prove Addario wrong, he was intrigued by this woman. Obsessed even, but it was too early to say. He made his way down the stairs and towards the bar, right as the bartender was talking about the club being in an uncanny territory….his territory. He could’ve sworn his heart almost stopped beating the moment she turned around right after he said the words. Green—her eyes had a mesmerizing shade of green which felt laminated under the club lights, and how he longed to caress the silky lips in front of him, the color of ripened strawberries from her lipstick. “What’s your name?” He asked. “Ana…the…the name’s Ana.” She stuttered which had him all the more intrigued. Take that, Addario. He thought as he propped himself right on the stool next to her. She was nervous. She had every right to be, after all he was none other than Theo Vitale, the soon to be head of the Vitale group. She probably knew who he was, hence the fright in her eyes. “So,” He took her hand in his, “Why so glum?” “Glum?” She snorted a laugh. Oh he liked her. He smiled, nodding, “I’ve been watching you, Ana. You’re well on your way to being stoned.” She laughed nervously now, clearly unable to meet him in the eye, “I just….i don’t know. It’s..it’s probably a mistake to be here.” “It’s not.” He said. Ana cocked her head at him , now she was pretty sure she was already past halfway drunk to be this bold, “It’s not?” Theo shook his head, “I’m here, aren’t I? There’s no mistake when it comes to me, Ana.” She laughed again, clearly he was hitting on her, and she was too shitfaced to care. Why should Zachary and his evil cut off ruin her night? Or Sebastian and his bailing self? There was a more dashing man in front of her whose eyes clearly had the want of eating her whole. “You’re bold, Theo.” She leaned closer, the smell of his cologne permeating through every rational barrier in her brain, “I like it.” Theo brushed her cheek with a thumb, “I like you.” He got down from the stool, taking her hand in his, “What do you say Ana? Care to spend the rest of the night with me?” *********** As the night progressed Theo had learnt three things about his damsel of the hour; She was a financial auditor for a company which paid a really shitty wage. Her boyfriend of Nine years had brutally dumped her hours ago. And she kissed like an ethereal goddess. He grunted against her lips as she shoved a hand into his hair, grasping for whatever as she just wanted to get a feel of his body. They were in his private room now. Unsure of how the night had progressed, all he could remember was being mesmerized by those eyes of hers and crushing her words with his mouth. He’d never felt like this before. Whatever was happening between him and this woman, he could not place a finger on it but he knew it was different. She was different. She wasn’t just looking to get pleasure from a man like himself for the sake of it. She wanted to explore him, with her hands skimming right under his shirt and over his pecs. She let out a moan as he grabbed a hold of her waist, she was straddling now, grinding, wanting to taste as much as she wanted to touch. He almost swore as she cupped the bulge in his pants, wanting to sink his teeth right into her skin as punishment for making him so….speechless. “God, you’re killing me,” He panted heavily, “What are you doing to me?” Ana whimpered against his mouth. She started to reach for his buttons, unwilling to let her mouth from his as the intoxicating taste of his cigar mixed with her whiskey did things to her brain. She wanted him, she’d never wanted a man as much as she wanted Theo….not even sex with Zachary made her this tenacious. “I want to see you.” She pleaded, “Let me— “Patience.” Theo nipped her jaw, “We can do this all night. I have nowhere to be.”Chapter Five—A baby and more “I can’t believe you slept with Theo freaking Vitale.” Alisha laughed at her friend who quickly placed a hand over mouth. “Shhhh.” Anastasia winced, “Don’t say that. What if someone hears you???” Alisha laughed again, “Oh please, no one in this office could ever believe you would do something like what. You’re ’reliable Ana’ are you not?” Anastasia frowned at the nickname given to her by the rest of her colleagues. The term ‘reliable Ana’ wasn’t one she’d wanted for herself, but had unconsciously cultivated over the years of being tied to a man that hated to see her shine. Now she decided to act wild for a night only to find herself in the naked arms of the most dangerous man in the city. She just couldn’t catch a break, and at the moment she felt a slight sense of wooziness and nausea—a double combo that shouldn’t be happening to a woman of her stature. “Ana,” Alisha moved closer seeing the paleness plastered all over her coll
Chapter Four—Bad, Bad Decisions Anastasia smelled incense—No. Tobacco. It’s brash aroma found it’s way into her nose, right as she felt the ray of the early sun seep it’s way into her eyes. She let out stifled yawn, then tried stretching her sore arms only to realize another presence on the bed with her. Wait. This wasn’t her bed! She jolted upright as a gasp escaped her, raking a hand through her hair as she tried to clear out the morning haze that clouded her eyes. She could basically hear her heartbeat thrumming, trying to clutch her dress only to see herself naked. Where were her clothes?!! She almost let out a scream, right as the effects of her hangover started to take place and the throbbing headache making her wince loudly. Then she heard a groan from beside her, turning her head slowly she found the gloriously naked back of a man whose head remained concealed on the pillow. The full back tattoo of a dragon and a serpent, both trying to devour each other m

Chapter Two—The Big Club He loved Emily—Slender, powerful, dainty enough to be held in his hands without as so much of a hassle. He loved the way his enemies screamed when he pummeled their joints with her strong bearing, reveled in their pleas for mercy as he broke every piece of their very bones for messing with him and his money. Right now, the traitor in front of him was proving to be a much easy pleasure to him and his favorite hammer. He smiled as he pounded the locks holding the knees to the thigh bone. The traitor screamed. “Please…..please Mr Vitale!!” Panting heavily “It won’t happen again!!” Theo Vitale snorted, looking at his hammer, “Don’t insult Emily. She’s not stupid and so am I. You ratted us out to the feds, and then had my docks raided. I lost out on a million because of you, Marco.” Marco cried out with bloodshot eyes, “They were going to deport my wife and kids. I couldn’t…..I couldn’t…… Theo wouldn’t let him finish the pity story as h
Chapter One—The Big Breakup “I……I’m sorry.” The words spilled right out of Zachary’s mouth right as the waiter dropped their lunch order right on the table. He looked somewhat perturbed. Anastasia had noticed this from the moment he curbed her kiss to a peck on the cheek at the entrance to the restaurant. Her brows arched, “Zach?” He loosened his tie, beads of sweat forming right at his forehead when he gulped down a whole bout of water. The conditioning of the room was perfectly tepid, and yet Zachary sweated like he was a prime suspect guilty of whatever accused crime. “I…..I can’t do this anymore, Ana.” He managed so say. She still remained confused, looking down at the seared fish on their plates, “You don’t like the cod?” “No!” He snapped, shaking his head profusely, “I’m talking about you…..us…..our relationship.” He finally admitted, “I’m breaking up with you, Ana.” It was the first of April. This only meant he was playing the usu
