“WHAT do you mean, Hero?”

Zekiel’s gaze snapped up to meet Hero’s. The man visibly swallowed under the weight of that predatory stare – it felt like Hero wanted to tear him apart with his eyes alone.

“V-Venice isn’t in the country anymore, Kiel.”

Hero didn’t even blink as two heavy objects from Zekiel’s desk went flying past his head – hurled at him with violent force.

“What do you mean she’s not in the country?! Are you fucking with me?!” Zekiel’s roar made the walls tremble, his eyes burning with barely contained fury.

“I’m telling you the truth. Venice is gone,” Hero maintained his calm despite the storm before him.

“Impossible! She can’t just disappear on me!”

The frustration in Zekiel’s voice cracked as he collapsed into his chair, fingers tearing through his own hair.

“They left last—“

“Why didn’t you stop her?!”

Zekiel’s interruption came like a gunshot.

“How the hell would I know?! Do I look like I control Venice’s mind?! Do you think I have some tracking

When they looked back, they saw a man wearing a jacket and a black hat, seemingly afraid of being recognized. Zayne immediately moved, positioning his twin behind him.“Who are you?” Zayne demanded.“I am Phil. I’m not here to fight—I’m here to ask for your help. I know the two of you can help me.”Zayne frowned but didn’t let his guard down, wary of what this man might do to them.“Help you with what?” Zayne asked, making Phil’s expression grow more serious.“To help me find someone. Let me introduce myself again.” He removed his hat, revealing a handsome face that looked eerily familiar to them.“I am Philip Vela, half-brother of your aunt Francine—the soon-to-be Queen of Spain.”“Half-brother?!” Zoey blurted out in shock, finally understanding why he looked familiar. He resembled Francine! But Zayne grew even more alert. If this man was their aunt’s brother, then he was likely allied with their father—the man who had done nothing but torment Francine and wanted to destroy the Royal

“We must control the press and any platform with pictures spreading about us. The truth about us being here cannot reach Spain—only Daddy should be in the palace.”That was what Claire said before they immediately sprang into action, contacting every possible means to stop the information about them being in the Philippines. Barely a day had passed since they woke up, and the sun had already risen high in the sky before they realized it was noon.“Let’s stop for now and eat first,” Francine said as they entered the living room where the others were.“Francine and I cooked so we can all eat. The kids are already at the dining table,” Clark added, prompting nods from everyone as they stretched their stiff bodies before standing up.“Seriously! Some of these press people are so demanding! Maybe they want me to shut down their businesses!” Quinn grumbled irritably as she stood.“Tell me about it! I almost yelled at them earlier,” Bea said with a scowl.“You shouldn’t have hesitated, Quinn

“TWINS, you’re not allowed to drink!”As soon as Claire said that, she immediately snatched the glasses from her children and drank what they were having.“Mommy, it was just juice,” Zayne said, facepalming, as Claire seemed to realize her mistake and laughed, especially since she could indeed taste the juice.“Oh, right! Hahaha! But good job, you two!” Claire ruffled Zayne’s hair and was about to do the same to Zoey when the latter grabbed her mother’s hand.“Mommy, let’s dance!” She then pulled her mother away from their spot, making Zayne’s eyes widen.“Twin, Mommy is drunk already!” Zayne shouted, but Zoey just waved at him dismissively.“Let them be, son,” Zayne turned to see his father standing beside him.“Do you want to drink?” his father offered, holding a small bottle.Zayne raised an eyebrow at his words.“Mommy said we shouldn’t drink.”“It’s a secret between us,” Zekiel said with a wink, making Zayne shake his head and chuckle before accepting the wine.“How is it?” Zekie

“Make sure you send that to me, okay?” Clark grinned back at the two, making Francine pinch his arm in response. “C-Clark, come on!” she complained, which only made them laugh even more. “Francine, we’re not kids anymore, but you act like such a teenager! Hahaha!” Bea teased, causing Francine to blush and hide her face against Clark’s chest. “Haha, stop it, girls. My wife’s the shy type.” That only made them laugh harder. They finished swimming and ended up napping until noon. When Claire woke up, her husband was no longer beside her. She searched their entire room for Zekiel, but he wasn’t there. Only then did she realize it was already nighttime—and no one had even bothered to wake her. She was sure it was dinner time and that they must all be in the kitchen. But when she went downstairs, there was no one there. A wave of unease washed over her, so she hurried back upstairs to check the other rooms—but none of them were there! “Zekiel! Zayne! Zoey?! Catherine!” she cal

“MOMMY! Daddy, faster!” Catherine excitedly called out to her parents, as they were the only ones left to wait for before they could finally go swimming in the sea. They had just arrived yesterday, but the kids were already eager to swim. Catherine, Fritz, and Clarence quickly bonded, especially since Fritz and Clarence were around the same age, making it easy for them to become close. Francine was happy because, at last, her child had playmates. Before this, it was usually just her and Clark who played with Clarence, so she sometimes felt sorry for him since he had no one else. This had resulted in him maturing early—always serious, as if carrying the weight of the world, much like his father. “We’re coming, our youngest is so impatient,” Claire said with a laugh as Zekiel helped her out of the rest house where they were staying. Claire had initially wanted them to stay in her unit, but she remembered it wouldn’t fit everyone. Splitting into separate rooms would be difficul

“ZOEY! ZAYNE!” The twins stopped chatting in the living room, where they had been eagerly waiting for Claire’s arrival despite the late hour. When they looked to see who had called them, they saw Claire on the verge of tears, running toward them, with a serious-looking Zekiel and a worried Timothy behind her. Claire immediately hugged both twins at once, unable to hold back her tears. “I’m glad you’re okay! I was so worried about both of you!” Hearing Claire’s words, Zoey couldn’t stop herself from crying either—especially since their mother had nearly been hurt because of her. “I-I’m sorry, Mommy! I’m so sorry! Because of me, you almost got hurt!” Claire pulled away from the hug and cupped her daughter’s face, shaking her head. “No, you don’t have to apologize, my child. I should be the one apologizing—me and your daddy. It’s just… I felt how much you mean to me, so I didn’t hesitate to save you.” Zoey cried even harder at her mother’s words and hugged her tightly. Me

“You two did what?! Do you even know what you’ve gotten yourselves into?! Sht! Have you both lost your minds?!” Clark paced back and forth, unable to stay seated after hearing what the twins had done. “That was the only way we could think of to find you, Uncle!” Zoey replied, which only made Clark panic even more. Because of him, the twins had entered the mafia world. Because of him, they had run away from their parents. Because of him, their lives were now in danger! All of this was because of his plan! Why hadn’t he realized how reckless the twins could be?! “Uncle, stop!” Zayne suddenly shouted, making Clark freeze mid-step. Even the others were startled by the boy’s outburst. Zayne stood up and walked toward Clark. Clark couldn’t believe what he was seeing—his nephew had changed so much in just a year. He looked like a perfect blend of his mother and father now. “Don’t think this is your fault. You did what you had to for your family. If I were in your shoes, I’d do

Clark immediately located his son’s whereabouts thanks to the tracker he had placed on the earring his child was wearing. Francine wasn’t wrong—her husband knew exactly what to do, and now they were on their way to where their son was. But Clark suddenly froze when he saw who was with their son. A woman and a man—a blonde girl and a dark-haired boy. “Who are you?!” he shouted, rushing toward his son and pulling him away from Zoey. “C-Clarence! Are you okay, baby?! Did they hurt you?!” Francine asked anxiously, hugging her son tightly as tears streamed down her face. She had been terrified of losing him. Zoey and Zayne stepped back, glaring at their uncle, who was now staring at them with hostility. “I said, who are you two?! What did you do to my son?!” Clark could feel it—the people in front of him belonged to the mafia world. He didn’t dare lower his guard because they might take his wife and child. “Mommy, don’t cry, I’m okay. And they saved me, Daddy! They’re not bad

Note: Tito – tagalog word of Uncle Because of what Zekiel said, Claire suddenly stopped and let go of Timothy’s hair. “Damn it, Claire! That hurt—arghh!” Timothy abruptly stopped speaking when someone punched him. “That’s for hiding Clark’s whereabouts,” said Zekiel, the one who punched him. He grabbed Timothy by his shirt and punched him again, sending him crashing to the floor. “And that’s for the twins leaving to look for their uncle.” “Why is that my fault too?!” Timothy snapped immediately upon hearing the reason for Zekiel’s second punch. His friend’s wife shot him a sharp glare, making him gulp. “If you hadn’t hidden Clark, the twins wouldn’t have left.” “You’re the ones to blame for them leaving! You forgot about your own child!” Zekiel fell silent for a moment at his words. Timothy stood up and spat out blood from the punch. “We’re all at fault here, but at least I have a reason. You two? None. You really did forget about your kid.” Hearing this, Zeki
