🖱️Victor 🖱️

I died…

The thought echoed over and over inside my head as I remained on the cold bathroom floor, my entire body shaking violently.

Fire…. Blood… A palace… Golden eyes.

“…I love you, J…”

The memories kept coming in broken pieces, each one crashing into the next before I could make sense of them. Every time I thought they had stopped, another one slammed into me, making my skull feel like it was splitting apart.

I gripped my hair.

“What the hell…”

My breathing refused to slow.

I wasn’t crazy, dreaming neither was I imagining any of it. I had lived another life. No…

I had been another man. A vampire king half dragon. Then I had died.

“So why am I here?”

The stranger in the mirror stared back at me. The same face I’d spent ten years trying to accept and never once felt like mine. Now I finally understood why. Because it wasn’t.

I had no idea how long I remained inside that bathroom before I finally forced myself back onto my feet.

My legs still felt weak. Every sound around me seemed distant.

Employees hurried past the restroom, laughing and celebrating the king’s visit while my entire existence had just been turned upside down.

No one knew or had the slightest idea that the pathetic fairy from the production department had apparently died ten years ago… and somehow remembered it today.

I walked back toward my desk in a daze. Jack looked up the moment he saw me.

“Dude, where the hell did you disappear to?”

“I wasn’t feeling well.”

“You look like death.”

If only you knew.

I dropped into my chair and turned on my computer. My hands moved on their own.

Searching for everything related Supreme King Jayden.

Thousands of results appeared. Images, articles, videos and Interviews.

I clicked the first one. A photograph filled the screen.

Jayden stood beside another man with silver hair and piercing blue eyes.

Both of them were smiling. Below the picture was a headline.

The Supreme King and His Mate, The Second Supreme King Attend the Northern Summit.

Mate… I frowned. The silver-haired man. Sammy. The name came back almost instantly.

More memories followed. Not enough to understand everything. Just enough to know he mattered and that I hated him with every drop of my blood.

I kept scrolling.

There were hundreds of photographs.

Jayden and Sammy attending banquets.

Jayden and Sammy opening hospitals.

Jayden and Sammy visiting orphanages.

Jayden and Sammy smiling.

Always smiling.

I leaned back in my chair.

“I still can’t understand why the hell I gave up my life for this middle ugly human.”

My monster laughed.

“You loved him.”

I snorted. “And how in hell am I not feeling the fucking love you’re talking about?”

“Because you’re angry.”

“I’m confused.”

“You’re both.”

I looked at another picture. Jayden was laughing with his arm rested comfortably around Sammy’s shoulder while the photographers captured every perfect moment.

The hell?

The obstacle between them died and they found their happy ever after?

Are these motherfuckers for real?

I died. Burned into ashes literally and these two looked like they hadn’t cried a single day in the last ten years. Something ugly twisted inside my chest.

Jealousy… Bitterness… or…Maybe both.

“They moved on,” I muttered.

“You asked them to.”

My monster’s voice was calm.

“We left them.”

“I died.”

“You still left.”

I clenched my jaw. “Shut up.”

“They honored your last wish.”

“I said shut up.”

“Victor.”

Jack’s voice pulled me back to reality.

I looked up.

He was leaning halfway over the divider between our desks with an expression somewhere between concern and annoyance.

“I’ve been calling you forever. What the heck, man? Are you sure you’re good?”

I stared at him.

This loser wouldn’t have dared call my name like that if he knew who the hell I really was.

A strange smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. Not because I found anything funny. Because the thought itself sounded insane.

A few hours ago I had been the pathetic Victor with criminal records.

Now…

Now I remembered another name, life and a throne I gave out on a platter.

“I’m anything but good.”

The words never left my mouth. Instead, I stood.

“Victor?”

Jack called again I ignored him. The only reason I had stayed was because I needed the internet. I needed answers to understand what the hell had happened to me and how I ended up in this body for ten whole years.

Every step toward the exit felt lighter. Not because I was happy rather the fairy named Victor suddenly felt like someone else.

“Victor!”

Jack called one last time. I didn’t even look back. The Victor he knew was dead.

The man walking out of the factory wasn’t a forgotten fairy with a criminal record.

He wasn’t some pathetic loser struggling to pay rent and child support.

He was…

The Vampire King… half vampire and half dragon. Or at least… he used to be.

I glanced down at my hands, small and slender fairy hands. No claws or power and any familiar strength flowing beneath my skin. I let out a bitter laugh.

“Seriously?”

I shook my head and walked toward my bike.

“So tell me…”

“How the hell does a half-dragon and vampire king get reborn into the body of a loser fairy?”

Silence answered me. I laughed again.

“Is this the universe’s idea of a joke?”

🖱️ Jane 🖱️“Honey, I’m home~~~”I threw the door open and waited.I had barely taken two steps inside before a familiar pair of arms wrapped tightly around my waist and pulled me against a warm body.“Goddess, I missed you,” River murmured against my ear, his voice low enough to send a shiver down my spine. He pressed small kisses along my cheek and jaw before nibbling gently on my ear.My entire body reacted immediately. This werewolf had absolutely no business having this much control over my body.I turned in his arms and wrapped mine around his neck.“I missed you more.”River smiled.“Impossible.”“Are you calling me a liar?”“I would never.”“Good.”“Not to your face.”I smacked his chest. He laughed and pulled me closer. Sometimes I still found it difficult to believe that River was my husband. The same River I had hated in the academy and was once convinced was gay.If someone had told me back then that I would one day be married to him, I would have laughed in their face an

🖱️ Sammy 🖱️ By the time we got home, Jayden had fallen asleep. Again. I glanced at him through the rearview mirror and couldn’t help smiling. He was curled up against the car door with his head tilted awkwardly to one side, his dark hair falling over his forehead and his mouth slightly open. The Supreme King of all creatures, the man who could make entire kingdoms tremble with one look, was currently sleeping like a child who had fought with the entire universe and lost. I parked the car in front of the palace and turned off the engine. For a few seconds, I just sat there. The silence felt strange after everything that had happened. The burning mark. The blood. The possibility of Victor being reborn as a baby. Jayden’s sudden hope that Victor might actually be alive somewhere with no memory of us. I looked at him again. He had cried today, Jayden rarely cried but his dada death a month back has made him super emotional lately and the mark was not even helping the situat

🖱️ Victor 🖱️“You bailed again.”I stared at Jasmine. She stood in the middle of my apartment with her arms folded across her chest and the kind of expression that told me she had been waiting for this exact moment since the second I walked through the door.I slowly closed the door behind me.“Hello to you too.”“How long are you going to keep doing this, Victor?”I dropped my keys onto the small table beside the door and immediately regretted it because the sound seemed to make her even more annoyed.“You failed me as a mate.”My body froze. She continued before I could even process what she had said.“You failed our marriage. You failed every promise you made to me, and honestly, at this point, I have stopped expecting anything from you as my ex- husband.”I stared at her. What the hell was she talking about?“But can you please, please, Victor, not fail our child?”My head started throbbing. She kept talking. She had been talking for what felt like an entire lifetime, and I was

🖱️ Jayden 🖱️I stared at Sammy… then I stared at Jane. Then I looked back at Sammy. My brain refused to process what they were saying. This had to be a joke.It had to be.“This is some weird shit,” I finally said.Neither of them laughed.I slowly looked around me. The car was parked beside the road, the air was still, and the entire world looked exactly the same as it had five minutes ago, which was honestly offensive because my entire understanding of reality had just been destroyed.“Okay,” I muttered. “Maybe this is some crazy dream.”Sammy frowned.“Baby…”“Am I still asleep?”“You’re not asleep.”I looked at him to be certain “You’re sure?”“Yes.”“Are you absolutely sure?”Sammy stared at me for a few seconds. “Jayden, you literally walked out of the car because you heard us talking about finding a baby who might be Victor.”I blinked.“Okay, but that doesn’t mean I’m awake. Maybe this is some kind of nightmare.”Jane crossed her arms. “If this is a nightmare, then apparentl

🖱️ Sammy 🖱️ I closed the car door as carefully as I could. Every instinct in me wanted to slam it hard enough to rip it off its hinges, but I couldn’t. Jayden was finally asleep. After so many minutes of bleeding, shaking and fighting through pain that no healer could explain, he had finally drifted off against the back seat. His face looked exhausted even in sleep, his brows still drawn together like his body refused to let him rest. The last thing I wanted was to wake him. I rested my forehead against the roof of the car and let out a long breath. “Fuck…” Victor chose death. Why couldn’t he just stay dead? The thought hit me so suddenly that I almost laughed at myself. Yes… I had missed the blood sucker and I mourned him. Hell, I’d cried harder than I ever thought I would. For ten years I’d lived with the guilt of knowing my biggest rival sacrifice himself for the two people he loved most. I respected him. I loved him in my own way. He had become a part of me. Bu

  • Caught In Between Lust And Desires Book 2   Chapter 3: They haven't found him

🖱️ Jayden 🖱️ My whole body felt like it was on fire. It wasn’t the kind of fire that licked at skin from the outside. This was worse. This crawled through my veins like something alive, something clawing its way from the inside out, until every drop of blood in my body felt like it had been replaced with molten lava. My breathing came in short, uneven gasps. I gripped the edge of the car seat so hard my knuckles went white, the cushion biting into my palms as another wave of pain crashed through me and nearly took my knees out from under me. Blood. Tiny crimson droplets welled up along my collarbone before sliding down my neck, my arms, dripping in slow, deliberate lines onto my cloths beneath me. I watched them fall almost distantly, the way you watch rain from behind glass. Like it was happening to someone else and my body had decided to betray me and forgotten to send the memo. It had been happening for months now. Ever since the mate mark Victor left on my neck, the one
