I threw my head back in laughter as I watched the interview.

“Jax, have you seen this? This woman is the perfect pawn I could ever find,” I said, my lips curling into a wicked smirk.

Jax nodded. “You’re right, Miss. Violet Miller is doing her job well.”

I continued to watch the interview as Violet said whatever I asked her to. A few days ago, she went to the hospital to have an abortion. She was ruthless. Who gets rid of their unborn child without hesitation just like that?

However, her resolve to destroy Sophia no matter what she lost in the process was what made me like her.

She was going to do all the dirty work while I waited in the background for Lucas to finally be mine.
