As he drew closer, Gaara saw that the men clustered around her were only three. One had seized Esther’s arms from behind and clamped a hand over her mouth. Her legs kicked frantically, but she was outnumbered and outmatched; her frantic strikes meant little. Another man seemed to take perverse pleasure in a small folding knife, using the tip to score a shallow cut along her throat. They laughed, jeering and shouting obscene, filthy remarks about her body as they closed in.

Gaara did not hesitate. He grabbed the bastard who had ripped Esther’s shirt and began to beat him, kicking the man until he crumpled. The attacker spat curses, stunned by Gaara’s sudden and brutal violence.

“Who the hell are you?” he snarled.

“Let her go, you bastard!”

Without wasting words, Gaara struck again and then kicked so hard that the man had no time to retaliate. He fell to the ground bloodied and battered. The two remaining men froze for a moment, shocked, but the one with the folding knife lunged at Gaar

Esther truly had no idea that she could be this fortunate in her life.Just fifteen minutes ago, she had been completely overwhelmed, on the verge of tears because there were no cars left for pickup. It was true that the decision she had made this time was, without question, the craziest one she had ever taken. Flying to Australia without knowing a single soul, without even knowing the address of the place she was supposed to go. All Esther had were old photographs of Gaara with his late mother. That was her only anchor. Her plan had been simple and reckless at the same time. Rent a car, drive around, and look for a house that resembled the one in the pictures she remembered. That was when the kind man she had met on the plane suddenly approached her. Because of her past experiences with strangers, Esther had hesitated to tell him the truth. Yet, remembering the kindness he had shown her, she chose to believe that he was not someone with bad intentions.“Ah, I’m Jorge Maxwell. The per

“Sorry?” the girl replied, looking slightly startled by the question Jorge had just asked her.“Your dream.”“A ah… it it’s nothing,” she answered, a little flustered as she shook her head. “I’m sorry, but it’s not really the kind of thing that’s pleasant to talk about.”Jorge nodded. “Alright then. But when I look at you, you remind me of my youngest son. I think he’s about your age.”For a brief moment, the girl looked intrigued. “Really? How old is he?”“He’s turning twenty two this year.”The girl nodded. “Oh. Really? Same as me.”“So, if you don’t mind me asking, what is a girl like you doing traveling alone? Are you going to visit someone?”For a moment, she seemed to weigh her answer. Her expression shifted slightly. Then, after a pause, she nodded. “Yes. Something like that.”“Family?”“Oh, no. Just a friend.”“I suppose that friend must be pretty special if you’re willing to fly alone like this.”Jorge chuckled when he saw her cheeks turn pink. “Ah n no, it’s not like that,”

  • Chained To My Bad Boy's Wild Love   Jorge Maxwell

“Sir, are you alright?” The woman in a gray blazer who had been walking behind him asked, worry written plainly across her face. The line in front of them moved forward. The man she had spoken to stepped ahead from his spot and answered in a detached tone, “I’m fine.”Apparently, she was not the only one paying attention to him. Another man, traveling with him on that commercial flight for business purposes, was also watching. He stood farther back in the line, a little distance away.Though not many people here recognized his face, the man was in fact one of Europe’s most successful figures. Jorge Maxwell. A businessman whose wealth surpassed what more than seventy percent of the world’s population would ever earn in their lifetime. With that kind of money, owning a private jet would have been effortless. Yet for reasons known only to him, Jorge had chosen to fly commercial for this particular trip.Travel like this was nothing new to him. His life had long been a blur of airports an

  • Chained To My Bad Boy's Wild Love   Elson's Feelings

That night, Esther finally steeled her heart. She stepped out wearing a T-shirt, jeans, her warmest jacket, and a pair of sneakers. Inside her backpack, she had packed her phone, a power bank, all the cash she owned, spare clothes, bottled water, and most importantly, her passport.Esther was about to do something she had never imagined herself doing before. Leaving the country alone. After returning from the Maxwell siblings’ house that afternoon, it did not take long for her resolve to solidify. Just as she had told Jack and Amber, the one thing most likely to have driven Gaara away was her. But what truly terrified her was the place Gaara had chosen to disappear to. The house where he had been born and raised. A place known only to him and his father. A place that clearly signaled he did not want to be found, let alone return.Esther could not allow that. She would lose her mind if she stayed far away from Gaara. So to hell with what anyone might say, Esther decided to enter her fe

After talking with her mother, Esther wasted no time. She went straight to Gaara’s residence, convinced he would be there. But the moment she arrived, her assumption collapsed. Inside the house, there were only Amber and Jack.A servant led Esther into the living room where the two of them were gathered. The instant they saw her, shock and relief crossed their faces at the same time. Amber rose immediately and wrapped Esther in a tight embrace.“Oh, Esther. Thank God you’re here.”Esther honestly had no idea what exactly she was supposed to be thankful for, but she returned the hug anyway. “It’s been a while, Amber. What’s going on? Why does everyone look so tense?”“You know where Gaara is, right?” Amber asked quickly. The question made Esther freeze. The hope burning in Amber’s eyes sent a sharp chill down her spine. A bad feeling crept into her chest. With a heart that suddenly felt sore, Esther shook her head. “No. I actually came here because I wanted to see him.”Amber stared at

  • Chained To My Bad Boy's Wild Love   Mother & Me

Since her parents’ divorce, the only time Esther could ever meet her mother was during holidays. Even then, her father often took over that time, planning trips for just the two of them, as if he were deliberately keeping Esther away from her mother. The last time Esther saw her was during the holiday before she entered university, right after her mother decided to move to London. Since then, their relationship had survived only through phone calls and, on nights when the longing grew unbearable, video calls. So when her mother suddenly stood within reach, close enough to touch, Esther was overwhelmed with joy. For a brief moment, she even forgot the heavy problem that had been haunting her mind. Being held like this made her feel safe. Whole. As if everything might be okay after all.“W-when… why… how…” There were too many questions tangled in her chest, she did not even know which one to ask first. Her mother smiled at her confusion. The smile, however, slowly faded as she studied E
