CHAPTER 119

A thick fluid splashed on my face, it felt like the world stopped for a moment and I could hear my own heartbeats right now. My eyes then shifted down to the officer who grafted his body that has been penetrated by the bullet instead of me.

He started coughing blood and I supported his weight so he won’t fall.

“A-A…C.” He whispered before his eyelids slowly gave up.

What’s going on? My eyes went back to the man who pulled the trigger but to my surprise, he wasn’t there anymore.

Heavy steps rushed grabbed my attention, and the gunshot surely woke the officers, as I could hear some prisoners making any noise inside their cell.

Officers have arrived where I’m still holding the dead officer’s body, still in shock at what had just happened.

They quickly put handcuffs on me and made me face the wall forcefully.

“Why did you kill him?” An officer asked.
