A lot of time had passed, and then suddenly, the door swung open. The face I saw left a sour taste in my mouth.

"What rudeness is this? It's not that difficult to ask for permission before entering someone's room or knocking on the door." My heart raced as I saw Alexander walk in my direction. Anger boiled up within me, and I shout in frustration.

"Let's go." Alexander completely ignored me and said while tightening his grip on my arm.

"Let go of me! What's wrong with you? Do you have no idea how to speak to a lady? Leave my hand!" I struggled to break free, but it was futile against his relentless grip.

Despite my protests, he forcefully pulled me into the lounge, where all the residents of Harrison Mansion had already gathered.

"How did you try to run away?" Robert Harrison’s angry voice echoed in the room. I looked at him; he was sitting majestically on the couch. There was no sympathy or love in his eyes for me.

“I came here at your invitation, not to marry your son. Please, let me go back. I don't want to marry Alexander," I implored, my voice heavy with sorrow and anger. Unbeknownst to me, tears began to well up in my eyes.

"I love Eric. I." Before that I finish, Alexander took out his gun and put it on my forehead. The words died in my mouth. A wave of fear spread in my being.

"If you utter this sentence again, I won't hesitate to shot the bullet in your skull," he hissed each word in a icy tone, making his threat clear.

Fear coursed through me. It was a terror anyone in my situation would have felt.

"No, Alexander, my son, please don't be angry. I will talk to her, she will understand. Please forgive her." My mom hastily stepped in, her hands gently prying the gun away from my forehead as she start pleading to him.

"This would be good for both of you, mother and daughter." Alexander sneered, while twisting his gun on his index finger.

"Kill me." The words slipped from my tongue and shocked everyone. The idea of marrying anyone other than Eric was deadly for me. I grabbed his hand to put the gun back on my forehead. With a look of fanaticism in my eyes, I challenged him.

"What do you think? I can't kill you?" A sarcastic smile appeared on his handsome face.

"Yes, you can kill me. So, kill me. But please keep this in mind, Alexander Harrison. Isabella can die but cannot marry to anyone except Eric." Looking into his red eyes, I said fearlessly in a precise manner.

Alexander was furious. The next moment, he loaded the gun. Just as he was about to shot, he suddenly stopped.

"Okay, so you want to die? I will definitely fulfill your wish. But you won't die alone. I will put your mother in the grave with you. We have been giving her protection until today only because she was your mother. But when you are dead, so what is the meaning of giving protection to this woman?” His brutal sentences made my body cold. He turned his gun towards my mom.

"You can't do that." I looked at him yearning and protested. Tears welled up in my eyes. This was the weak point of my life.

"You have made the mistake of testing me." He said in a proud tone while watching me yearning.

“Decide. What do you want?” He bow towards me and whispered.

"I am ready for this marriage. Please don’t do anything to my mom.” Helplessness made my voice weak.

Eric's smiling face began to rotate in front of my eyes. His farewell words "You are my star" were ringing in my ears.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I felt life slipping away, a sense of weakness washing over me. Tears start flowing from my eyes.

"Mom. He will die without me. He will die and me too." I sobbed, she hugged me tightly.

"I wish I had accepted what he said. I wish I hadn't come here." This regret was hitting me why I didn't listen to Eric. Why did I come here? Eric was right, they imprisoned me.

"You think if you didn't come here, then all this wouldn't have happened. Stupid." Alexander, standing on the floor above said sarcastically. I looked at him; he was standing on the stairs with the railing, looking at me with a smile.

“I hate you.” I screamed, and start crying loudly but no one was there to listen to me. They were cruel, selfish and ruthless.

Gabriel gently lifted her chin and asked, "Why are you crying when this moment is so joyful?"Hazel, through her tears, replied, "Your happiness is so overwhelming that it brought me to tears. I couldn't hold back when I saw how much love you have. How can anyone be so happy to become a father again?"Gabriel chuckled at her unusual logic and, with a teasing tone, said, "I’d be happy even if I became a father for the tenth time." Hazel wiped her tears and looked at him in surprise."Ten children?" she exclaimed, her blue eyes wide with astonishment. Gabriel laughed."No, I just want one daughter, a daughter like you. I'm so incredibly happy, Hazel. I want a daughter this time," he confessed, his eyes filled with hope. At his words, Hazel began crying again. Gabriel stood up and sat beside her on the bed."John, why are you crying now?" he asked tenderly, wiping her tears and kissing her softly on her blue eyes."You wished for a daughter when Ibtisam was born, but she had a son. Hazel was a vision in her baby pink dress, her hair cascading down her back in loose waves. The light makeup she wore enhanced her natural beauty, giving her a soft, ethereal glow. A delicate net dupatta draped over her shoulders, and diamond earrings sparkled in her ears—earrings she had worn on Gabriel's wedding anniversary. She stood by the door of the washroom, her heart racing as she listened to the water stop. Gabriel had finished his shower, and Hazel's anticipation grew. She had prepared an elaborate breakfast for him that morning, hoping to surprise him with her efforts.Gabriel emerged from the washroom, dressed in trousers and a shirt. As he entered the room, Hazel felt her cheeks grow warmer, her pink dress only emphasizing the blush that spread across her face. Her gaze fell to his broad chest, the dark brown hair still damp from the shower, and she quickly averted her eyes, unable to face the intensity of his presence. Gabriel’s face, always a striking contrast of red an

Gabriel slipped the key into the lock, the familiar click echoing through the silence as he pushed open the door to his apartment. The moment he stepped inside, he was greeted by an unsettling darkness that seemed to swallow the entire space. He frowned, his hand instinctively reaching for the light switch. With a flick, the lounge was bathed in soft, warm light, revealing the stillness that enveloped the room. His heart sank. He had expected a surprise, perhaps balloons or a candlelit dinner waiting for him, but instead, the apartment was eerily quiet, devoid of any movement or life. Confusion gnawed at him as he set the various shopping bags he had carried in on the couch. They were filled with gifts he had carefully chosen for this special occasion, yet there was no one here to receive them.Determined to find her, Gabriel walked down the hallway toward their bedroom, the only sound his footsteps on the wooden floor. He paused at the doorway, his breath catching at the sight before

"Isabella, you know how we celebrate our holidays with Jane every year. Those two months are so important to him; he waits for us all year long. And now, you're telling me we shouldn't go to America this year? You know how much this means to Jane." Big Mama's voice was firm yet filled with concern. She wasn't just speaking as a mother, but as someone who knew how much Jane cherished their presence. "He doesn't just see me as Mama, Isabella. He considers you his Mama too. He loves you deeply, and here you are, telling me this."Hearing this, Alexander rose to his feet, the signs of frustration evident on his face. His tone was harsh, and the sharpness in his voice made Isabella's eyes well up with tears."Alexander, that wasn't what I meant," Isabella replied, her voice trembling. "I just wanted to meet Hazel..."Feeling the sadness in her voice, Alexander took a deep breath and gently took her hand. "Bella, you shouldn’t make a distinction between Jane and Mia. Jane isn’t just Jazem’s

~Five years later...Bella came out of the dressing room wearing a full gown nighty, Alexander, who had been lying on the bed waiting for her, got up from the bed.“I’ve been waiting for you for half an hour,” he snapped, his voice laced with irritation. “And you come out wearing this? Why didn’t you wear the nightgown I told you to?”His tone was harsh, the anger simmering just beneath the surface, and Bella could feel the familiar pang of fear tighten her chest. It was the same fear that had gripped her in the early days of their marriage, whenever he drew too close. She lowered her eyes, her voice barely above a whisper as she replied, “Alexander, that nightie is too revealing. I don’t want to wear it.”His demeanor softened at the sight of the tears glistening in her eyes. The anger ebbed away, replaced by a tender concern that she rarely saw in him. He reached out, gently cradling her face in his hands, his voice a soothing balm. “It’s alright, my love. Don’t worry. It doesn’t ma

"Oh, thank you, your mood has improved. I was quite worried, you know. I could tell you were thinking about our plans even during the meeting..." Bella teased, her fingers playing lightly with the buttons of Alexander's shirt. She offered him a faint, charming smile, knowing all too well that Alexander had indeed been preoccupied, likely replaying the details of their upcoming date in his mind while he was supposed to be focusing on business. She had sensed his distraction, the way his troubled eyes had lingered on her during the meeting, filled with a mix of longing and concern.Alexander returned her smile, a warm, affectionate expression that softened the worry lines on his face. He gently cupped her face in his hands, pulling her closer, and their lips met with a fierce intensity that left Bella breathless. His kiss was so fervent that her lips turned a deep shade of purple, and the warmth of his passion spread across her cheeks, tinting them a delicate pink. As he held her close,
