SCARLETT'S POV

I was lost in my thoughts as I read through mother's Journal.

She was a great philanthropist and as her only daughter, I have been enjoying the fruits of her good deeds during her lifetime.

I couldn't help but wonder if I would ever be able to live up to her reputation or sow half of her good deeds during my own lifetime.

She was really great and though I have no memories of her, or rather, I didn't know who she was since she died after my birth, it still feels like I've known her for long. Maybe because she left me in good hands and took extra measures to guide me right even in death. I feel really indebted and grateful to her and I wish I could see her again _ even if in my dreams.

I knew I couldn't rest until I bring Harriet down and make her have a taste of the deadly poison she made, decades ago. Slowly and surely, I would certainly achieve my goals.

I am sure she would be getting a hit soon but this is only little compared to what's coming afte
