Sharlynn's First Step

A taxi pulled up in front of a modest house in the Pankow neighbourhood. After handing over one euro, Sharlynn got out of the cab without hesitation.

She stood in front of the classic white and grey house momentarily. Her long legs, clad in bright blue jeans, stepped confidently onto the porch and rang the doorbell.

After a few minutes, the door revealed an older woman wearing glasses with bleached hair and a wrinkled face.

"Can I help you, miss?" The woman asked as she adjusted her glasses.

Sharlynn smiled kindly at the woman, "Madam, is it true that Mr. Madison lives here?"

"Oh, you're looking for my husband. He's inside. Who are you, ma'am?" the woman asked back.

"I am the daughter of the late Madame Marie, wife of Heinz Othman Eisenhauer," Sharlynn replied politely.
