Luciana's POV

I looked at Massimo, my expression seemed to ask him for an explanation. But Massimo's dark expression and his gritted teeth met my eyes. He didn't look at me, but at the man in front of us.

“Luciana,” he spoke all of a sudden.

I felt my heart just pounded so fast, while staring at Massimo. His tone is like giving me a warning.

“Go back to the car. I will deal with him.”

I gulped. Massimo is telling me to go back to our car as he has to deal with the enemy, alone. I shook my head, and stayed firm. This creature also captured my curiosity. There's something with him that I wanted to know about.

I have this feeling that he's not a wolf.

“Why are you pushing your girl away from me, Massimo? Is it not interesting to see both of you here?”

I furrowed my brows with how the man speaks. I could feel arrogance from it, and this just helps me to conclude that this man is difficult to handle.
