Chapter Seventeen ~ Chase Has Claimed You
Jesse got out of the car and made his way to my door, opening it and holding his hand out for me to take. As soon as I got out of the car, I tugged my dress down, and then nervously folded my arms across my exposed boobs.
"Are you cold, Darlin’? Would you like my jacket?" Jesse asked me, starting to remove his tuxedo jacket.
"Huh? Oh, no, I'm fine. It's just..." I paused, not really wanting to tell him the real reason.
