Chapter 33

“Don’t you have any plans of going home?” I whisper. Devyn hugs me from the back as we lie on the bed inside my apartment, cuddling.  Two days have passed since Devyn and I were able to return to Seattle.

“I want to stay here a little longer,” says Devyn softly as he hugs me even tighter. “I miss you.”

I can’t help but smile on how adorable he is. “How can you miss me? We were together in New York.”

“That was a different city. A different place,” he explains. There is a pause as the both of us become silent for a few minutes. Only the sound of two heart beating can be heard inside the room.

“Why don’t you just live with me?” Devyn suddenly asks. “I can buy us a condo or a bigger apartment if you are more comfortable with it.”

For a minute, I am stunned. His offer just comes out of nowhere.

“I…I’ll probably think about it,” I manage to say.

“Okay.” Devyn takes a deep breath and kisses the top of my head.
