Thirty seven: End Her

Tears crinkled in my eyes. I didn't like this at all. Everyone had begun clapping when I had stretched my hand to collect the ring, but now, they were muttering several unnecessary words. 

"Mom." Roy stood straight, hurried to the annoying person he called his mom. "Wh-What are you doing here? What's up?"

She turned to him, those evil eyes shooting him some glare. "You're an idiot. Have you taken it this far?"

He sighed. "Mom, I get you. This is no longer a game. It's for real now. We've sorted things out between us already."

"Sorted what?" She scoffed. Moving her arms to her chest, she inhaled loud. "My boy, I still don't get why you'll choose her over Kath. I mean, Kath's complete. She's just the woman I want for you. She's successful, decent, respectful. She has it all. What the heck do you see in this one?"
