I love the story . Alice seems like a strong Fl though I felt weak and naive who blindly believes in loving her husband. I see her slowly building her backbone as story is progressing and I am liking the change in her . I hope she doesn’t go back to Vincent after everything he put her through.

Vincent is been cruel, didn't expect him to turn this way not even in the slightest ...

as if in paris, france children of single moms or out of wedlock are rare or something shameful, theses archaic views of the apparent chinese origin story are not prevalent in the west! (south EU maybe more old fashioned, cause of religion, but France? not believable)
