Mellisa's POV

I was staring at the ceiling in my room, in deep thought. There's so much happening all at once, and we seem so close to the truth but so far as well.

“This scheme doesn't seem to be one that was put together just now. It might have been planned for hundreds of years.” Selena, my wolf muttered at the back of my head.

“Why do you think so?”

“Whoever this is, is well versed in old practices of werewolves. We have to read more so we can find more in old stories. Something must pop up.”

“Descendant of Miri!” I heard a distant voice call to me.

I peered around my room. “Selena, did you hear that?”

“I did.”

I sat up in seconds and pushed off my bed.

“Descendant of Miri! Come I have something to tell you.” The same voice echoed.

“Who are you?”

“I'm Dreca, come. I'd lead you.” Said the voice.

“Should I go? Is it wise?” I asked Selena. I know it's unwise to do this, but I'm curious.

“Let's go, give me partial reign of your mind so your senses will be sharper.”
