~ Chapter 12 ~
I tried on the last gown there was to try. I and Rose picked a lot. All of different colours and sizes. All were cute and pretty but this white one really caught my eyes. I stared at myself in the mirror. it has a lace neck, it's not cut too low but sure to show some of my chest. It was short to my knee and flay like a ballet gown. Definitely a garden party dress.. I smiled as i walked out and Rose had that same expression I had on my face on her. This is it!
"Your so getting that dress" Rose chimed.
While I showered getting ready for Scott to pick me, Rose offered to help make pancakes. I rolled my hair into a towel and tied one round my chest as I joined Rose in the kitchen.
"Here's your pancake" she placed two huge pancakes on my plate and dropped a tiny one for Hailey.

Storm POV"You don't like it?" I asked him. He seemed to be struggling with the right word to say and then he scratched behind his head. A nervous habit. I narrowed my eyes. I thought he'd like the gown."It's so....white" he said and smiled. What does that even mean. I moved out of the way so he could enter. And just like that, my mood had changed instantly. David led me to where a tall slim woman with blonde hair stood. I suppose she's David's mom. They had the same hair colour, only hers were darker blonde. Her eyes were light brown like her sons. He went and kissed her cheek."Mom...this is Storm" he said. I pushed my hand out to shake the woman. her smile was heart warming. Her hands were soft and tender. She smiled at me."Nice to meet you dear. David has told me a lot about you" she huffs and I grin."Good things I hope" I smiled. David winked at me and I chuckled. Scott came up behind me and handed me a glass of what I assume is strawberry drink. I rolled my eyes at him. Everyone else gets wine."Scott honey. I'm glad you came" Davids mom hugged Scott but he just stood there like a statue. The good thing is the woman still kept hugging him and showing him love. David pulled me aside."I got to show you my study room" he said with smiles

The lady intended to place her hands round Scott's shoulder but he gave her a stare so she just clapped her hands together. I chuckled. What a kill joy."I'm Storm" I said . Val looked thoughtful for a while as if she's heard about me before then she looked at Scott for a while. He must have mentioned me."Well, Storm. Nice name" she grinned. "Oh look. Aunt's singing"We all turned our gaze to the front where Danielle was singing a welcome and thank you song at the same time. I covered my mouth giggling as I saw David shaking his head and chucking."This is ridiculous" Scott whispered in my ear while wrapping his arms round my waist. That small gesture made my body tingle. It's like that anytime he touches me. I feel a pull. I wonder if he feels it too. Like a shot of electricity go through me and it doesn't kill me. Instead, it livens me."No it's not. My alarm didn't wake me up today which was wasn't strange cause I'm not at my apartment. It doesn't smell like flour around me but musk. Manly musk. The scent of lemon. Scotts minty smell. I arranged a pile of pancakes on a plate. Taking the pan off of the cooker, I cleaned the countertop. It wasn't so sparkling when I started cooking but I suspect Scott doesn't even clean his own house.I dabbed the rag around a few times the moment my phone rang I picked it."Hey Adrianna!" David cleared out both his plate and mine before insisting to wash the dishes. My phone vibrated but I ignored it. It's probably Scott trying to tell me to make David leave."Movie?" Scott immediately transfered his hands from his sides to my waist pulling me close to him. His body heat warming me up to the best it could. I glared at him and he was looking far away, out into the garden in the distance. I tugged at his arm. "We'll stay for dinner" I smiled at Danielle and she nodded before walking off.
