Chapter 10."Where is he''? Xavier reached the abandoned workshop that he had converted into his workplace. A place where he could personally interrogate his enemies. Chapter 11. "Excuse me Miss. You cannot go inside". Caroline stopped her hand on the handle. She turned to face Shelly with furious gaze. "As far as I remember, I don't need your approval to visit Xavier. And even if I did, I give a damn. Now move aside or…". Caroline snarled. Shelly gulped a bit. Chapter 12.Marcus was sleeping when he heard his phone ringing. He flicked the table lamp on and saw the time. 3 in the morning. He quickly picked up his phone to see an unknown number."Alferd". Chapter 15. The doctors made sure she was attached to all vital machines and 3 nurses on standby. Elyas had turned the guest room on the ground floor as her made-up hospital room and the adjacent room for the nurses to take a nap while rolling over the shifts. Chapter 16.Caroline closed the file she was working on and turned off her computer. Her eyes were tired of reading the file for so long.
