Celebrities could take the floor just beneath. They were no different in luxury from the normal VVIP for anonymous persons. They were given exactly the same professional treatment excluding the paparazzi.
“Helloooo?” The princess waved with a smile immediately as I walked through her lobby, I almost paused, imagining the excitement on her face.
This is unexpected.
I was even imagining the most formal way to talk to her but she advanced towards me, pulling me into a big, friendly hug.
“Are you the most famous Nada Clarkson I've been hearing of?” She patted my cheeks with a cheeky smile. “I've been great friends with your parents and one of the biggest customers, they just decided to push me to you.”
My lips graced with a warm smile.
“Yes, I am.” I was going to give in the same energy as her.
“Come on, sit.” She meekly gestured to the golden couch opposite her. She then began to ask me questions, and we became acquaintances. I wanted to go straight to business but I knew how important it was to build trust with such a top client like this.
“I really wanted to invest much in your fast rising hospitality business but now I think I've got a new interest as well. How about the jewelry sector, can you tell me more as well?”
Goshhhh.
I wasn't expecting this. Such a massive blessing. I beamed with a satisfied smile. “Sure I can do that, even take you on a tour of it.” I said.
“Wow, really?” I could see the excitement on her face, she was ready to support my business with all in her.
“Yes,” I nodded. “I'm ready to do that.”
“Wow, thanks so much. But now I'm keen on getting a brief introduction, especially in the jewelry section.”
“Okay, we deal in the production of gold, silver, diamond and other gemstones. Almost all the gemstones. After extracting from our favorite sites in Northern Europe, we fly them here in massive tonnes to refine them.”
“With this, we get first glass rings, necklaces, pendants, leg chains, hair adornments and all sorts of jewellery you could ever think of.” I smiled.
Princess Aisha was nodding carefully to what I was saying.
“For a beautiful princess like you, we've got lots of beautiful adornments as gifts if you invest in us.”
She smiled.
A little flattery never hurts, right?
“I love everything I'm hearing. So if I can invest some billions, what do you intend to do with it and how do you intend to generate more profits?”
“I hope I'm permitted to get some clues about your business ideas?”
“Sure. As the customer, you deserve to know everything.” I wasn't just flattering, I meant it. A quick thought shuffled through my mind, one trait which is a must for a CEO like me. Being able to create a swift, quality idea within seconds. An idea that would match with the needs of the customer.
Princess Aisha was all ears. I promised myself to stun her.
“Besides taking over more mining sites, extending our mining to Africa, we would also extend our scope of refining to furniture and interior decor.”
Right now, exquisite couches like the ones we sat on were imported, made by other companies.
“If we could start making these furniture, plating them with the desired metal ourselves, then the cost would drastically reduce, the quality would increase and in this way, we would be getting seven times the profit if I'm not hoping too high.”
I chuckled.
“We need to hope high and work towards it.” She concurred.
“That's my goal.”
She rose up, yawning, covering her lips. “I'm interested but I feel sleepy, can we continue tomorrow or any day I'm free. I'm here for three days, I will be taking up my work from here.”
She came to hug, kissing me goodnight, I wouldn't forget leaving me flattered. I watched with shock till she was approaching the inner door, leading to the bedroom.
She brought her hand to her ear, making a call gesture, then lip syncing. “I'll place a call on you.” I interpreted. With a smile and blowing a kiss I rose up to go.
My babies are at home, I couldn't stay here. I had to get back to them.
I picked my phone inside of the car as the driver was reversing. I logged in to W******p. My parents were waiting for me to hear how it went.
“The meet-up was a huge success, she indicated interest not only in real estates but my jewelry company.”
“Woooh!” Mom screamed.
“Let's pop some champagne.” Dad said.
“I'll pop mine when I reach home,” I attached a smiley emoji.
Along the way, the driver turned to me and I knew he was going to say something. I raised my brows in a gesture for him to go ahead.
“I've got to branch to the filling station to get some fuel.”
“Sure, no problem.”
The filling station wasn't so far from here, besides I wasn't going to spend much time here. My eyes were slowly scanning the environs, my back relaxed on the seat.
At the edge of the station, a man sat on the ground, in a familiar dress.
Wait!
I sat up, even leaning against the car window, peering out.
“Isn't that Harvey?” I asked my driver, one man who knew him at least during the time of divorce.
He steadily looked towards where I pointed, slowly nodding his head.
“I guess he's the one.”
What’s he doing here?

Nada’s POVMy triplets didn't stop me from work, just that I mostly worked from home but today I received a call from mom that the Princess of Qatar, His Royal Highness, Aisha Al Rayyan was going to meet with me to discuss some major real estate investment. “You know we have already had more than enough investment, we have to start pushing some of the major clients to you even though you are doing so well on a start.” Mother said. She called at 3 PM and I was to meet the Princess by 6:30 PM. She was already in one of my hotels and I needed to go to meet her. I left my triplets under Sarah's care, she would certainly take care of them. I got into my Range Rover, my iPad and iPhone kept on my sides. These are my work phones. I looked at my dress one last time in the car to check out if it would align with my client. It was a pale blue abaya with creamy embroideries but not being of her religion, I wasn't compelled to use a head covering. “I don't need to be a copycat.” I chuckled. “
Third POV Harvey took down the massive lump in his throat, he sat behind thinking of an excuse to give. He wasn't backing down, this only gave him more terror that if he stayed, he might be picked before he got to make his decision. “I want to go and put in my letter of indefinite leave, it's best tonight, my friends aren't there to ask what I'm up to.” He breathed hard, wishing the driver, whatever his name was, would agree. “Okay, it's hope to you.” He nodded his head. Relief exploded across Harvey's face but still he couldn't be less cautious. “I will walk up to the taxi station close to the headquarters to take a cab,” he swore, knowing that another set of taxis from Matteo could lie in wait for him. He waved to the cab driver, waiting for him to leave before walking in. Harvey strode into the station, walking to the personnel welfare department which dealt on matters of suspension, resignation and retirement. This time, he wanted a voluntary suspension, he never knew a ti
Third POVMatteo sat on a sofa in his basement in one of his secret mansions in the US waiting for his men to bring back his fiancee. From time to time, he was calling, getting to know their location while swearing in mumbles. “Harvey is going to get what he deserves soon, now he's making the cops track us. They claimed he said something out, critical information that spread around.” One of his men bent over with a worried look. “Sir, then we should be more alert lest they go after Alisa, we would double our men.” This suggestion made sense in Matteo, he turned, looking in awe of the man who said this to him. “Thanks, but I already have my men and alert. Should there be any case of stalking, they are experts in this, they would report.” Matteo said. “But don't you believe that this report might have come from someone we know?” His right hand man asked again and he stood up slowly, shooting fierce glances his way which got him stepping back in fright. “Boss? Boss?” He fidgeted se
Harvey's POV “Who's that?” My voice broke apart going over to answer the door. I grabbed the handle and for one brief moment stood to imagine who could be outside as there was no response. Could it be Alisa’s parents? Noticing how withdrawn and gloomy I have been these days? Each time I return from work, I would lock myself inside, refusing to talk to anyone until the next morning. Could it be she herself? She hasn't been home in days and I knew she was spending it with her real fiance, Matteo. Or–The worst of all. Matteo and his men. With shaking hands and my strongest act of courage, I pressed the handle down, pulling the door open only for Alisa to bang in, hair messy and dress tattered. I slid before her, blocking her way. “Where have you been? Why are you looking so tattered?” “Will you get off my way or you want to bring the same controlling nature over Nada to me?” She replied harshly, rolling her eyes on me. “You still have the audacity to speak to me in such a manne
Harvey’s POVMy mind could find no rest even at the office, I was always in thought. My head sunk low even while typing into the desktop in my office. “What's going on?” Steve, a close friend of mine at work came around, looking into my system. I was supposed to make a comprehensive report of the recent cases we have been able to undertake but I'd barely done anything. I dipped my face into my palm, shaking my head. The pressure of being asked about a deep issue disturbing you which you would have gotten help with but then the consequences of speaking was deadly can't be comprehend. That's what I felt at the moment. I was burdened in my heart to say something but I couldn't. I just shook my head, refusing to look up so Steve won't see the dark lines under my eyes. Another idea came to mind, perhaps I could just say this. Everyone knew about this and it would look so real. “I've lost a considerable amount to my ex-wife, that's why I'm pretty much disturbed.” Steve tapped on my sh
