LOGINFlora's POV
For a second, I stared at my phone. I so rarely received videos, and the image on the screen was nothing but a blur—until I clicked on it. The video started, and all I could see was Zack’s face amid a sea of nakedness. My hands trembled as my eyes widened. My Zack… with another woman? How could it be? Tears welled and then streamed, and I felt like screaming.
I so badly wanted to see who the woman was, but her face was turned away. Zack’s was unmistakable, though. The man I loved more than anything had cheated on me.
A sob broke from my chest, and then another. I cried for a while—who knew how long—and then called my best friend, Kayla, as soon as I felt I could get some words out.
She picked up on the third ring, her voice sharp with irritation. “So you finally have time to call me, huh?”
I winced. I’d been so busy over the past few weeks that I hadn’t spoken to her.
“K-Kayla...” I managed through a sob.
Her tone shifted immediately. “Flora? What’s wrong?”
“H-he”—I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself—“he cheated on me, Kayla. Zack cheated on me.” I covered my mouth, suppressing another wave of tears.
“With who?”
For a moment, Alora’s face flashed in my mind. I shook my head quickly, dismissing the thought. It couldn’t be her. She was my sister.
But Kayla's mind went to the same woman as mine. “What about Alora?” she suggested.
“I-I don’t know,” I said weakly.
Kayla sighed. “I just don’t trust her. She seems too good to be true.”
“She is good...” I really didn't want to be accused of jealousy and selfish or something like that.
“Either way, don’t cry over him, babe. He’s a scumbag. Just get him out of your life. He doesn’t deserve you.”
Her words were comforting, but they didn’t ease the ache in my chest. I inhaled deeply, trying to calm my racing mind. At the same time, I made a decision. “You’re right,” I said. “And after the werewolf ball, I’m breaking up with him and making everything clear.”
“Good. Just be careful, Flora.”
“I will be.”

The next day, Zack didn’t come home, and I didn’t bother calling him. The maids noticed my mood and asked if I was feeling unwell, but I brushed them off. However, I couldn’t abandon my responsibilities, so I focused on the task my father had assigned me: hosting the ball. Decorations, guest arrangements, food—I oversaw everything, ensuring the preparations were perfect.
In the afternoon, my phone buzzed with a call from an unknown number.
When I answered, Alora’s voice greeted me. “Sister, are you free?”
In no mood to talk to her, I replied curtly, “I don’t have time right now.”
But her next words stopped me cold. “I know Zack is cheating. I’m at the Holy Nights Club. Come here if you want the truth.”
My breath caught, and I froze. I opened my mouth to ask how she knew, but the line went dead.
Clenching my fists, I fought back the fury rising inside me. After a moment of hesitation, I made my decision, then grabbed my things and left to go to the Holy Nights Club.
It took me an hour to get there. When I walked in, the pounding music and flashing lights made me feel out of place. The place was loud, chaotic, and far from anything I’d consider welcoming. As I looked around, men stared at me with predatory eyes. Their gazes made my skin crawl, and I considered turning around and leaving.
But before I could, the bartender waved me over. “You’re Flora, right?” he asked once I’d gotten close enough.
“Yeah. How do you know me?” I asked, my eyebrows drawn together.
"Of course, you're the Alpha's princess, so I would recognize you," he said with a smile. I couldn't help but feel there was something off about him.
“She left this for you,” he continued, reaching under the counter, then handing me a room key. “VIP Room 409,” he added.
I clutched the card tightly, staring at it for a moment before heading toward the stairs. Before long, I stood outside Room 409 with my heart racing. With a deep breath, I slid the card through the reader. The door clicked open, and I stepped inside, expecting to see Alora. Instead, I saw a man—tall, dressed in a dark suit, holding a phone to his ear as if engaged in an important call. His back was to me, but even from behind, power radiated from him, an aura so strong it made my knees weak.
The door clicked closed loudly behind me, the noise echoing in the room. I flinched at the sound just as the man turned. My breath caught in my throat at the devastatingly handsome sight of him.
But his thick brows furrowed in anger as he looked at me. “You must have a lot of guts to break into my room,” he said in a low, furious tone.
His expression made my knees tremble. My lips quivered as I tried to explain that I hadn’t meant to come here, but no words came out. Fear gripped me, so palpable that I took a step back, wanting to run.
Flora felt the sky had fallen over her. A fear crept in her chest. "What! Has he lost his mind?" she almost shouted. The maid's eyes became larger. No one had ever talked about Alpha Aaron like that, not even his own father. But they could not say anything to her. Since Alpha wanted her in his own bedroom, she might have successfully seduced him again. They felt sad about Lifaya. They wondered how she would react after learning it."He is a cheater! He has his finacée! How can he want me to stay here with him?" Flora said, rubbing her temple with anger. The maids were stunned by her words. Their perception slightly shifted about her."Alpha's order," the maid muttered. Then all of them continued what they were doing. Flora was staring at them without saying anything further. She didn't stop them because she didn't want to ruin their lives. They were just doing their jobs.Watching them while composing herself, Flora was thinking of a new plan to change Aaron's game.Meanwhile, in the
Flora's words froze Aaron. He stared at her, unmoved. Flora moved her hand away from his chest, stepping toward him.She tilted her head, looking up at him carefully. A slow grin appeared on her lips."What happened, Alpha Aaron? Did I say something impossible?" Her tone was sarcastic.Aaron's eyes darkened. The edge of his eyes became sharp as he frowned at her."I know what game you are trying to play," he muttered.Flora's brows shot up as if she were not understanding his words. She stepped back, her hands flying to her mouth. "So there is really some power outside that can bend Alpha King Aaron?"Then she slowly moved her hand from her lips and let out a laugh.Holding her stomach, she laughed hard. "Is it love? Why don't you admit that you are so in love with your Lifaya that you don't want to leave her? Or..."She paused and stopped laughing. Her face, which was so cheerful a moment ago, turned fierce. Her eyes turned blue in anger."Or are you so greedy to let go of your power
Flora stared at Aaron. She was speechless. She didn't believe her one year of escape had ended. Was she going to live like a slave again? Was this her fate? She clenched her jaw and shook her head. She thought, 'I can't let you play with me, King Aaron. I will never be the same Flora who will love you unconditionally, and you will treat me like a slave. I will ruin you.'Her hands shook as so many thoughts came to her mind. She wanted to hurt the man laying on the bed. She wanted to take his life away so that she could be free. But her wolf growled inside her every time she thought about it.'Breaking the matebond is the only way I can escape. Didn't Oliver give me a few weeks to do it? I can use this time as the perfect opportunity,' she thought, a smirk enveloping her lips. She would not lose so easily. She was the new Flora who could make the king fall head over heels for her.Suddenly Aaron's voice broke the silence of the room, causing her to flinch."Stop overthinking and go to
Everything seemed to stop around them. Flora was shocked when Aaron's lips touched her. It was not just a kiss but a flashback of her past, the moments she had spent with him reflected in her mind. His lips moved, and it was not gentle. It was harsh; the kiss was rough and aggressive. She blinked when she realized what was happening. She tried to push him again, but he grabbed her hand and pinned it over her head with his one hand. His other hand reached for her jaw. He tilted her head and pushed his tongue inside her mouth. The wave of feelings was so deep that she felt twisted in her stomach. His tongue slammed against her tongue, trying to push it so that it could enter her mouth entirely. She tried to turn her head to break the kiss. He didn't let her do that as he was grabbing her jaw tightly. He was showing her how long he had waited for this. His rage was there along with the unknown feelings he felt for her.It was a kiss of possessiveness.Aron couldn't help but want to remin
Flora was sleeping on a soft mattress in a king-sized bed. The room was large. The long curtains were dark. But they were opened to let the sun rays enter the room to light it fully. The sunlight fell on Flora through the window, warning her body.Flora blinked, her brows tightly furrowed when she felt heat on her face. She slowly opened her eyes and yawned. She hissed as a slight pain hit her head. She closed her eyes again, rubbing her forehead. She opened her eyes again and stared at the ceiling. After a minute of staring at the ceiling, she blinked. The ceiling did not belong to her, the hotel room, or her own bedroom in her house.A chill ran through her body when she realized the ceiling was really familiar to her.Without a second thought, she sat up with a jump. Her eyes widened when she looked around her. That room was more than familiar to her. She looked down at the bed. How could she forget this bed? The room? Or the ceiling?"What the hell! How did I come here?"She was i
Under the hollow light in an old basement, Oliver walked toward the man tied up in a chair. Around the man, five to six people were standing while keeping their eyes on him.One of them spoke out as soon as Oliver approached."Your Majesty! He is the one! He tried to attack you that night."Oliver clenched his jaw and stopped in front of the man. He grabbed the man's hair and pulled it back to see his face. His brows shot up. The dark expression on his face changed as his eyes fell on the man's face."Maximus?"The man was none other than his friend. This was the friend he had never thought would betray him. Seeing that his own friend tried to attack him, yearning to kill him, he was shocked. His grip loosened around his hair, and he stepped back. "Why you?"Maximus looked into Oliver's eyes. There was no guilt but anger for his friend."Why not? Oliver, you are a cruel man! Because of you I went bankrupt. It took my mom's life away. I hate you. You killed my mom!" Maximus yelled with
Flora tightened her jaw, staring at the man. He was the same man who cheated on her, made her his slave, and then threw her like a piece of dust.He only used her. He was worse than her ex-boyfriend. Even in less time, she loved him the most, more than she loved Zack. But in return, she got a ruthl
Flora's POVI wiped the corners of my eyes, staring at Zack’s phone in my hands. Alora’s message echoed in my mind: “She didn’t find out, did she?”What did it mean? What was Zack hiding from me?The bathroom door creaked open, and Zack stepped out, a towel slung over his shoulder. His eyes immedia
Flora's POVIt had been two weeks since Alora joined our pack, and the whole pack seemed to revolve around her now. But that wasn’t what bothered me. What really got under my skin were the comparisons people started to make between us.Alora was well-mannered and softhearted, traits that seemed to
Flora's POV“Be careful!” I cried as I scurried toward the maid, who was on the verge of falling down the stairs.Fortunately, I reached her in time. She looked up at me with wide, startled eyes. "Thank you so much, Miss. You are so kind,” she said, bowing deeply.Pleased, I smiled warmly. “Of cour
