LOGINFlora's POV
For a second, I stared at my phone. I so rarely received videos, and the image on the screen was nothing but a blur—until I clicked on it. The video started, and all I could see was Zack’s face amid a sea of nakedness. My hands trembled as my eyes widened. My Zack… with another woman? How could it be? Tears welled and then streamed, and I felt like screaming.
I so badly wanted to see who the woman was, but her face was turned away. Zack’s was unmistakable, though. The man I loved more than anything had cheated on me.
A sob broke from my chest, and then another. I cried for a while—who knew how long—and then called my best friend, Kayla, as soon as I felt I could get some words out.
She picked up on the third ring, her voice sharp with irritation. “So you finally have time to call me, huh?”
I winced. I’d been so busy over the past few weeks that I hadn’t spoken to her.
“K-Kayla...” I managed through a sob.
Her tone shifted immediately. “Flora? What’s wrong?”
“H-he”—I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself—“he cheated on me, Kayla. Zack cheated on me.” I covered my mouth, suppressing another wave of tears.
“With who?”
For a moment, Alora’s face flashed in my mind. I shook my head quickly, dismissing the thought. It couldn’t be her. She was my sister.
But Kayla's mind went to the same woman as mine. “What about Alora?” she suggested.
“I-I don’t know,” I said weakly.
Kayla sighed. “I just don’t trust her. She seems too good to be true.”
“She is good...” I really didn't want to be accused of jealousy and selfish or something like that.
“Either way, don’t cry over him, babe. He’s a scumbag. Just get him out of your life. He doesn’t deserve you.”
Her words were comforting, but they didn’t ease the ache in my chest. I inhaled deeply, trying to calm my racing mind. At the same time, I made a decision. “You’re right,” I said. “And after the werewolf ball, I’m breaking up with him and making everything clear.”
“Good. Just be careful, Flora.”
“I will be.”

The next day, Zack didn’t come home, and I didn’t bother calling him. The maids noticed my mood and asked if I was feeling unwell, but I brushed them off. However, I couldn’t abandon my responsibilities, so I focused on the task my father had assigned me: hosting the ball. Decorations, guest arrangements, food—I oversaw everything, ensuring the preparations were perfect.
In the afternoon, my phone buzzed with a call from an unknown number.
When I answered, Alora’s voice greeted me. “Sister, are you free?”
In no mood to talk to her, I replied curtly, “I don’t have time right now.”
But her next words stopped me cold. “I know Zack is cheating. I’m at the Holy Nights Club. Come here if you want the truth.”
My breath caught, and I froze. I opened my mouth to ask how she knew, but the line went dead.
Clenching my fists, I fought back the fury rising inside me. After a moment of hesitation, I made my decision, then grabbed my things and left to go to the Holy Nights Club.
It took me an hour to get there. When I walked in, the pounding music and flashing lights made me feel out of place. The place was loud, chaotic, and far from anything I’d consider welcoming. As I looked around, men stared at me with predatory eyes. Their gazes made my skin crawl, and I considered turning around and leaving.
But before I could, the bartender waved me over. “You’re Flora, right?” he asked once I’d gotten close enough.
“Yeah. How do you know me?” I asked, my eyebrows drawn together.
"Of course, you're the Alpha's princess, so I would recognize you," he said with a smile. I couldn't help but feel there was something off about him.
“She left this for you,” he continued, reaching under the counter, then handing me a room key. “VIP Room 409,” he added.
I clutched the card tightly, staring at it for a moment before heading toward the stairs. Before long, I stood outside Room 409 with my heart racing. With a deep breath, I slid the card through the reader. The door clicked open, and I stepped inside, expecting to see Alora. Instead, I saw a man—tall, dressed in a dark suit, holding a phone to his ear as if engaged in an important call. His back was to me, but even from behind, power radiated from him, an aura so strong it made my knees weak.
The door clicked closed loudly behind me, the noise echoing in the room. I flinched at the sound just as the man turned. My breath caught in my throat at the devastatingly handsome sight of him.
But his thick brows furrowed in anger as he looked at me. “You must have a lot of guts to break into my room,” he said in a low, furious tone.
His expression made my knees tremble. My lips quivered as I tried to explain that I hadn’t meant to come here, but no words came out. Fear gripped me, so palpable that I took a step back, wanting to run.
Aaron's eyes moved to Flora. His eyes burnt with fire. His gaze could not move, but from side eyes he could see how Oliver was touching her intensely.'So they have been sleeping with each other?' he thought. His jaw clenched. His fists tightened in anger. He wanted to snatch Flora from Oliver's arm. He wanted to cut those hands that were touching her like that. He wanted to pull out the eyes that were eyeing her like that.He almost moved to grab Oliver's neck, but he froze when Flora smiled. She turned around and placed her hands on Oliver's bare chest."Sure, my king. Let's go," she replied in a very seductive way.Her voice and tone stunned both men. Aaron was angry, but Oliver was quite surprised. He stared at her. But his main focus was not on her but the man standing in front of him.He smirked, stroking her back. When he looked at Aaron, he saw a flash of red glinted in Aaron's eyes. He was staring at his hand as if he were going to attack him.It made Oliver smirk wider. He c
Flora got into the suit with King Oliver. Tonight was really heavy for her. Seeing the man who she used to love and now hate, it was really the toughest task for her. However, she was happy that she didn't back down. She now had a very strong backbone. She didn't want to fall apart.Oliver walked over to the couch while taking off his suit jacket. He threw the jacket on the couch and sat down.Unfolding his sleeves, he looked at her and said,"Pour me a glass of water."Flora quickly nodded her head and made her way to the open kitchen. There was no room-temperature water there. She checked on the freezer and found a few chilled water bottles. She poured a glass of water and went to King Oliver. She handed him the water. But Oliver didn't drink it. Instead, he was surveying the water glass.Flora was confused. She tilted her head. "Is there any problem, my king?"He shifted his gaze and gave her a small grin. "It's been a whole year, and still you don't know that I have a cold allergy
Aaron left the place with Lifaya. Flora stared at the car leaving the pavement as she came outside with Oliver.'Still the same arrogant and cruel man!' she thought.Oliver didn't say anything. Both of them went back to the hotel. When Flora walked into the lobby, she noticed Aaron was already there. She was actually surprised when Oliver had told the men that they were staying in the same hotel as King Aaron. She just wanted to stay away from that man. But she would have to face fate too.Her fate was cruel, which bonded them with an unwanted mate bond. Now she wanted to break it. To break the mate bond, she would have to force King Aaron. She would do anything to make him break it. He was an Alpha... And an Alpha had the power to break a matebond. She believed her wolf had the power to take back the rejection. As she walked past the reception desk with Oliver, Aaron's eyes caught them. But he didn't speak. His eyes only observed them calmly. He was there to wait for Lifaya, who want
Flora returned to the party. Oliver was busy talking with the council members. When he noticed her standing alone in a corner, he excused himself from the people and approached Flora."Alone? Where are your industry friends?" Oliver asked.Flora watched the models trying to get the attention of wealthy businessmen. She signaled him to them and said,"I have no friends here, Oliver. You know how they are!"Oliver glanced at the women. She was right. They were greedy to broad businessmen's shoulders. They did not care if they were married. All they wanted was money and fame."Not everyone is like you, Flora," Oliver muttered, looking back at her.Flora turned her head to look at him. She saw how he was staring at her. His eyes slowly shifted from her face to her body.Flora blinked, lowering her gaze. "Since you know—"Oliver cut her in as he lowered his head and leaned near her ear. "It's okay. I don't want anything. Your success is my success. That's how I feel for you."She gulped. O
Lifaya's face turned red in embarrassment. She got mad and moved toward them quickly. She yanked Aaron's arm, causing his grip to loosen around Flora's waist.Flora hurriedly moved back. Lifaya glared at Flora, then turned to Aaron."Alpha, don't you realize who this woman is? She is the one who cheated you, your law, and your trust."Flora frowned at her. "Is that so?"Lifaya ignored Flora as if she did not want to pick up a fight with her. Flora understood the reason. The smirk returned to her face. It was because she was afraid of the Lycan King, and the Lycan King was with her."Lifaya," Aaron muttered, glaring at her."What? Why are you looking at me like this? You yourself said she is a whore. You said she is whoring with King Oliver. You said if she begged you to take her back, you would smash her head on the ground rather than accept her. Now why are you even coming into her seduction skills?"Lifaya huffed after blabbering. She wanted Flora to know what Aaron really felt abou
Aaron froze at Flora's words. His eyes slightly moved on her. He stared at her like he was watching her soul directly.Flora didn't move; she didn't feel any nervousness. Because it was her wolf who took over her. She was calm. The smirk remained on her lips. It was mocking him."What happened? You are shocked that I learned about it, Mate?" she asked, tilting her head. Her smirk deepened.Aaron slowly let go of her. She glanced at her hand and then returned her gaze to him. She scoffed at him."What a coward, Alpha King! Can't even confront his own mate?"Her every word cut through Aaron's chest like arrows. However, he didn't react. He took a step back from her.His eyes betrayed him. But his face was indifferent, as if he were not surprised at all."So you finally realize it?" he said in a calm tone.Flora let out a chuckle. "Finally? You expected me to never find out about it, Alpha King, Aaron Elliot."Her voice came out a little harsh. Her tone was deep and not fragile like how
My eyes moved abruptly. I took a step back, causing my legs to stumble. My father was cutting all the ties with me! Wasn't he the one who asked me to stay with him as his daughter?I would not have stayed here if he had not requested me.I bit my bottom lip as I could not stop myself. I smiled at m
I shook my head and tried to get out of bed. I walked toward him and said,"No, Dad. She is lying. I was only trying to save myself. He... He tried to—"My father pushed me out of his way without even listening to me and dashed toward Alpha William. He had a shocked expression. His push caused me t
