LOGINFlora's POV
For a second, I stared at my phone. I so rarely received videos, and the image on the screen was nothing but a blur—until I clicked on it. The video started, and all I could see was Zack’s face amid a sea of nakedness. My hands trembled as my eyes widened. My Zack… with another woman? How could it be? Tears welled and then streamed, and I felt like screaming.
I so badly wanted to see who the woman was, but her face was turned away. Zack’s was unmistakable, though. The man I loved more than anything had cheated on me.
A sob broke from my chest, and then another. I cried for a while—who knew how long—and then called my best friend, Kayla, as soon as I felt I could get some words out.
She picked up on the third ring, her voice sharp with irritation. “So you finally have time to call me, huh?”
I winced. I’d been so busy over the past few weeks that I hadn’t spoken to her.
“K-Kayla...” I managed through a sob.
Her tone shifted immediately. “Flora? What’s wrong?”
“H-he”—I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself—“he cheated on me, Kayla. Zack cheated on me.” I covered my mouth, suppressing another wave of tears.
“With who?”
For a moment, Alora’s face flashed in my mind. I shook my head quickly, dismissing the thought. It couldn’t be her. She was my sister.
But Kayla's mind went to the same woman as mine. “What about Alora?” she suggested.
“I-I don’t know,” I said weakly.
Kayla sighed. “I just don’t trust her. She seems too good to be true.”
“She is good...” I really didn't want to be accused of jealousy and selfish or something like that.
“Either way, don’t cry over him, babe. He’s a scumbag. Just get him out of your life. He doesn’t deserve you.”
Her words were comforting, but they didn’t ease the ache in my chest. I inhaled deeply, trying to calm my racing mind. At the same time, I made a decision. “You’re right,” I said. “And after the werewolf ball, I’m breaking up with him and making everything clear.”
“Good. Just be careful, Flora.”
“I will be.”

The next day, Zack didn’t come home, and I didn’t bother calling him. The maids noticed my mood and asked if I was feeling unwell, but I brushed them off. However, I couldn’t abandon my responsibilities, so I focused on the task my father had assigned me: hosting the ball. Decorations, guest arrangements, food—I oversaw everything, ensuring the preparations were perfect.
In the afternoon, my phone buzzed with a call from an unknown number.
When I answered, Alora’s voice greeted me. “Sister, are you free?”
In no mood to talk to her, I replied curtly, “I don’t have time right now.”
But her next words stopped me cold. “I know Zack is cheating. I’m at the Holy Nights Club. Come here if you want the truth.”
My breath caught, and I froze. I opened my mouth to ask how she knew, but the line went dead.
Clenching my fists, I fought back the fury rising inside me. After a moment of hesitation, I made my decision, then grabbed my things and left to go to the Holy Nights Club.
It took me an hour to get there. When I walked in, the pounding music and flashing lights made me feel out of place. The place was loud, chaotic, and far from anything I’d consider welcoming. As I looked around, men stared at me with predatory eyes. Their gazes made my skin crawl, and I considered turning around and leaving.
But before I could, the bartender waved me over. “You’re Flora, right?” he asked once I’d gotten close enough.
“Yeah. How do you know me?” I asked, my eyebrows drawn together.
"Of course, you're the Alpha's princess, so I would recognize you," he said with a smile. I couldn't help but feel there was something off about him.
“She left this for you,” he continued, reaching under the counter, then handing me a room key. “VIP Room 409,” he added.
I clutched the card tightly, staring at it for a moment before heading toward the stairs. Before long, I stood outside Room 409 with my heart racing. With a deep breath, I slid the card through the reader. The door clicked open, and I stepped inside, expecting to see Alora. Instead, I saw a man—tall, dressed in a dark suit, holding a phone to his ear as if engaged in an important call. His back was to me, but even from behind, power radiated from him, an aura so strong it made my knees weak.
The door clicked closed loudly behind me, the noise echoing in the room. I flinched at the sound just as the man turned. My breath caught in my throat at the devastatingly handsome sight of him.
But his thick brows furrowed in anger as he looked at me. “You must have a lot of guts to break into my room,” he said in a low, furious tone.
His expression made my knees tremble. My lips quivered as I tried to explain that I hadn’t meant to come here, but no words came out. Fear gripped me, so palpable that I took a step back, wanting to run.
My eyes widened when he put that wrong allegation on me. I shook my head in denial."No! He is not my boyfriend."Aron's eyes were filled with fury. He looked more furious than last night.Something shook inside me. My heart started beating faster. I did not want him to get mad at me."You dared to play with me!" He said with his cold voice. His shoulders were slumped, and he looked like he could kill anyone right now. He was staring at me, not moving his gaze for a little bit.I was startled. I did not want him to misunderstand me."Aron—""Alpha," he said while gritting his teeth. "Don't you dare call my name with your dirty mouth."I was stunned. 'Dirty mouth? Did he think I was dirty?' I thought, feeling tears in my eyes."Listen to me, he is not my boyfriend. His bodyguard saved that name in my phone book," I said, trying to approach him with slow steps. His eyes flashed red for a moment. "So you have met his bodyguards too?"I managed to walk toward him with my heavy steps. I st
The sunlight flickered inside through the parted blinds inside the room. It kept falling on the bed, glowing the half bare back, which was full of hickeys and bites. My whole body aches when I turn away from the light. My head pressed against the pillow, holding the blanket tight against my chest.A knock on the door flinched me awake. I opened my eyes. My gaze directly fell on the other side of the bed.It was empty. My grip on the blanket tightened.I stared at the empty place, although someone kept knocking on the door.I thought it was a maid, but I heard my mother's voice."Flora, are you inside?"Her voice sounded too bitter to me. My gaze did not move as I recalled last night. My sore body was proof of how he did not let my body have a break and kept pounding me the whole night. He was a beast in bed. His anger was like lava, which burned me last night.I kept telling him that I loved him. I begged him not to go to Lifaya again. But his answer was very simple."I don't love her
I opened my eyes and tried to push him away from the top of me. His words made me even angrier."Punishment? You are the one who needs punishment," I blurted out.He seemed frozen by my words. My eyes widened when I realized what I had just said. Before I could clear my words, he got up from me. I sat up on the bed.He was glaring at me. His hand moved to his belt. He opened his belt and pulled it out of the waistline of his pants. My eyes widened in fear.'Will he hit me with his belt?' I thought.I was frightened. He pressed his knee on the bed, moving close to me.I moved backward until my back pressed against the headboard. He moved closer; his eyes were locked with mine. A predatory gleam flickered in their depth.Without a word he reached out for my ankle. He grabbed it tightly and pulled me down.My back pressed against the mattress again. I gasped and blocked my face with my hands, thinking he would hit me.But his fingers wrapped around my wrists. I moved my hands away from m
I melted in the touch of his lips. It was as if I had been yearning for it for a very long time. I shut my eyes and wanted to let him kiss me.But then I recalled how he was with his ex-mate all these times. I got mad and started to push him, trying to break the kiss.As if my pushes made him angry, he kissed me roughly. It was the kiss full of rage and desperation of claiming his position.I kept pushing his chest. I bit his lip which made him move away.He glared at me. I glanced at his lower lip, which was bleeding. I looked away from his lips and wiped my lips with the back of my hand.He looked stunned by my action. His brows slightly rose in disbelief. Then his eyes turned dark.Without a word, he started the car again.I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I wiped my tears away, looking outside the window.I did not want to cry. I just wanted an answer. Why was he with that woman?Soon the car arrived at the pack house. The long gate opened, letting the car enter.Just as Aron stop
I was shocked. My eyes were widened. I could not believe my ears."Your Majesty?" I mumbled, turning my head to look at Oliver.I did not believe all these times I was with the Lycan King! I tried to place the prices of the puzzle. The employees said the Lycan did not attend the meetings. I realized that he was in the hospital and was in a critical situation; that was the reason he could not attend the meetings.I was startled that I had said so many bad things to him in his face without knowing that he was the Lycan King.Oliver heard me and turned his head. He gave me a look. "Didn't you want to learn more about me? I am all yours."As soon as he finished speaking, Aron let go of my wrist and grabbed Oliver's neck."Learn about you more? How about I let her know about you after your death?" he growled.Everyone around us was caught off guard. I immediately held Aroan's hand and tried to pull him away.Oliver did not back down. He grabbed Aron's collar. The guards and Oliver's assist
Aron turned his head in my direction when he heard Oliver's voice. As soon as his gaze fell on me with Oliver, his calm expression changed. His gaze darkened. I could see a glint of surprise in his eyes. He looked stunned. On the other hand, Lifaya was shocked. She looked like she saw a ghost with me. Her eyes were straight on Oliver. Her whole body shook, and she loosened her grip around Aron's arm. She looked lost and terrified.I did not understand why she looked so scared. I slowly turned my head and looked at Oliver. He had a smirk on his face. His eyes didn't move from Aron as if challenging him on something."Let's greet your Alpha King, Flora," Oliver said, holding my hand.I was taken aback when he grabbed my hand. However, my mind was not on that right now. I was in pain. My heart was broken by seeing Aron with Lifaya. We stopped in front of them. Aron's jaw tightened as he looked into my eyes. His attention was only on me. He ignored Oliver like he did not exist."What are
