LOGIN“Here we go” announced Leslie as she came back holding two rolls of trash bags, one in each hand. Pulling away from each other, we each held a hand out as Leslie distributed them among the three of us.“These are the good ones” she told me as she shook hers open. “Smell how good they smell.”We all stood there sniffing the trash bags, inhaling the goodness of them before we began our grueling job that lay before us. Almost as if we were postponing it.“Ok that’s enough” she said finally “let’s get this show on the road.”Bending down, we each held our bag open and began picking up pieces and scooping sliminess into the bag. John really hadn’t made this easy on any of us. Once again I felt angry at him. Still with the bullshit. “This isn’t nearly as bad as I expected it to be” Sierra said calmly as she picked up what appeared to be some intestines. I watched as she stared intently at them before placing them into her bag.“Well I’m glad it’s better for you. You had us worried for a l
“Poor girl. She’s apparently taking it pretty hard.” “Yeah I guess she’s traumatized from watching him on tumble like he was in a dryer.”I was in rare form today. Something about this whole situation brought out another side of me that I didn’t even know existed. Or maybe I was just twisted the whole time and it was slowly easing its way out into my jokes. To my surprise, Leslie laughed. “I imagine it did have to be a bit rough seeing that. I didn’t exactly love us finding him like that.” Leaning down, she moved some hair from his eyes.“He did have a nice face.” She said to no one in particular. “That mouth though.”I nodded still holding the chainsaw. I moved it around a bit to get her attention and she got the picture. Stepping back, I started it up again. This time I didn’t stop until I had him sectioned off nicely. It was a good thing we had the tarp; this was messier than any of the movies I had ever watched. I turned to look at Leslie and she was sitting on the floor, Sier
She glared at me but didn’t respond. Grabbing John’s body, we all drug him the best that we could over to the tarp. Once we had him there, I got on top of the tarp and pulled his body over while Leslie and Sierra pushed it. Once he was exactly in the middle of it, we stopped. “Now then, that wasn’t so hard was it?” I asked. They both looked at me like I was crazy but nodded anyway. “So who wants to do the honors?” I asked picking up the mini chainsaw.Leslie’s eyes widened in horror and Sierra whined. They both looked at me with pleading eyes, begging me to do it so that they didn’t have to.“I guess me” I answered my own question and crunk up the tiny but powerful body destroyer.I didn’t really know what to expect since I had never dismembered someone before, but the blade went through his arm like butter. There was a couple of moments with the bone that I thought was a little rough, but still effective. I looked over at the other two to see how they were handling it and I saw Si
Looking over at me, Leslie rolled her hands and pinched the bridge of her nose.“Sierra” she paused and waited for Sierra to look over at her. “Sierra” she began again, “did you ever maybe think that just maybe, this bothers me a little bit more than you do?”Sierra just looked at her through wet eyelashes not seeming to grasp what was being said to her.Leslie breathed out slowly and annoyed.“He.Was.My.Husband.” She said enunciating each word so that she could get her point across. “You were the mistress not the wife.”Realization finally dawned on her and Sierra stopped sniveling long enough to apologize. “Leslie I’m so sorry. I guess I didn’t take your feelings into consideration. I mean, did you even love him?”She looked completely innocent as she asked and I almost felt sorry for her. Almost. Her incessant crying was getting on my damn nerves and there was only so much sympathy I could dish out for one person.Leslie looked at her incredulously. “He was my husband; I did love
The three of us watched with bated breath as it flew into the air momentarily and came down solidly halfway down. We heard as it cracked and then eventually broke apart leaving its pieces everywhere. A few pieces made their way down to John but it still looked wrong to me.“Well?” Leslie looked at us eyes wide “what do y’all think?”“I think it looks great.” Sierra said hesitantly. “Looks like he tripped and fell.”Leslie turned to me. I could feel my mouth turning down. This was the kind of setup that got people thrown in jail.“I think it looks like shit.” I said flatly. When neither of them spoke, I continued.“Do you really think that they don’t have people trained to investigate crime scenes? They do reenactments too but theirs are of a more technical nature.”“But how could they tell?” Sierra whined now sitting down halfway down the stairs.I glared at her. Clearly the elevator was not going all the way to the top here.“Sierra think about it.. they can literally tell from wher
After it was decided that we would use the plants to set the stage, we all set off through the house to find them.“We need at least five” Leslie told us. “They need to be staggered to look realistic.”I wanted to roll my eyes and tell her that this plan was not going to work the way that they thought it would but I had already been vetoed.Going through the house alone felt strange to me; seeing all of their shared memories of smiling pictures and valentines bears made it all seem so surreal. Sierra had killed Leslie’s husband and she was taking it much better than I would’ve anticipated.Finding an obnoxious sized plant in a large vase, I grabbed it and took it to the staircase. I found that Leslie and Sierra had already placed two others. They were both gone on their search for others so I decided to wait for them to get back.Looking down at John, I noticed the mark on his face from my slap. That didn’t look good for someone that fell. “You know you had that coming” I told him as
