Chapter 18: The Inner Circle

Antonio's P.O.V

The grogginess that overtook me was like a dark cloud of fog hanging over my head. I had awoken to the dimly lit room I called Serenity. However, it would only be a true haven when she shared it with me.

Clarissa. The thought of her sent a surge of hunger through my veins. The events that had taken place flooded my mind, and it was at the moment Zeus growled lowly.

'She marked us.' Zeus growled possessively.

We loved the fact she had marked us, making us hers, and with that mark of claim, there was no undoing it. However, her dominance was what angered me. I am the Alpha, not her.
