“I missed you so much little peanut”

Helena giggled as I peppered her face with kisses.

I went straight from the plane to Alex and Morgan’s to pick her up.

“I am never leaving you for that long again,” I whispered, planting one final kiss on her head.

Looking at her, I feel like she doubled in size since I was away, even though it had only been for five days.

Glancing around the house, I started to have a small freak out. There are far too many things that she could get in to.

Helena will be crawling soon and I’m entirely unprepared.

I scoop her up, taking her to the kitchen to make us some breakfast.

Sitting her in her little seat, I grab out some yogurt and a banana.

She opens and closes her hands, making noises while reaching for the banana.

Watching her do something as simple as eating brings tears to my eyes.
