MAKE ME YOUR LUNA
Amanda's pov
I could not believe what I was saying. It felt weird asking Alpha to make me his Luna, I was a more traditional person who believed the man should do the asking and wooing. But here I was proposing to this man whom I barely knew personally except for all I have heard through rumors and grapevines as a notorious werewolf who was brutal, evil, and could kill anyone at will.
However, I stood staring at him, I liked him a lot, and I did not feel any darkness emit from him as I usually did around Dimitri. I was convinced that he was my second chance mate, even my wolf was acting weird around him. Did he feel the same about me, I could not tell if he did.
"You are joking right." Alpha Blake said snapping me out of my reverie. "You don't look like someone bold enough to ask a man out, talk more of making proposals." He smirked.
"I would do anything for my pack even sacrificing myself," I replied. It was more than just saving my pack from humiliation, I also had to protect my honor and that of my father.
"Well, I have to decline." he shook his head.
"What. Why?." I was chagrined.
"Let's say…I don't like you" he narrowed his eyes as he spoke.
"But..I…" I stuttered.
"But what." He asked.
"Don't you feel it? I mean the connection between us. You must sense something."
"What am I supposed to be feeling or connecting to." He asked
I roll my eyes and glance around the forest. I did not want another person to hear about our conversation. Even if he rejects me, I prefer it to be private. Just between us.
"I am your mate, can't you detect my scent? I mean you should know about the mate stuff."
"Do you mean the crazy and outdated ideas of our ancestors? Don't tell me that you believe in the mating stuff all designed by the invisible moon goddess." He shook his head in disbelief.
This guy is an idiot I thought to myself. Of all the wolfs that could be my second chance mate, it had to be someone that does not believe in fate.
He rested his hands on my shoulder and I swear I felt something like an electric circuit rush through my body. "Wake up from and smell the coffee, the moon goddess does not have the power to help you out with finding love, you create your part for yourself. Falling in love takes time and great nurturing, not this nonsense belief that you can scent your mate and you can't live without them ever again. What a load of crap." He laughed at his last statement, and this infuriated me the most.
It was well known around the territory that Alpha Blake lived and trained in the city as an army, the worst was that he married a human mate. He was an irrational man and I was experiencing it firsthand.
"I think I made a mistake." I mind-linked my wolf, Sienna.
But no response came from her.
"Sienna," I scream in my head.
"Sorry, I was just lost. Our mate is a hulk, his wolf is spectacular."
"Wake up from your delusion, he does not believe in mates." I was getting irritated already.
"That can't be, I can feel his wolf trying to connect with me," Sienna says
Before I could reply I heard some voices calling out to me. I already knew who they were.
"Seems your people are on the search for you," Blake said and I turned to face him. His eyes were dark, I sensed his wolf too. Why was he resisting my wolf? Was I that bad that my mates kept rejecting me?
I sensed my eyes starting to cloud, I hated being emotional and vulnerable. I hated the feeling of loss that was starting to spread all over me. Seemed I was destined to be alone. I had this sudden urge to call out to the moon goddess, to ask her to take away my pain. To...
"Amanda, are you there?" I heard Lucas call out.
"Over here," I answered, even though I did not want to be found, it was quite impossible. I had to go back home to the troubles that awaited me.
"Here you are," Lucas said as soon as he saw me. He had come with Zena and Catherine; both ladies were among our strongest warriors. I was surprised my father did not come with them but also realized he had not been doing too well lately.
"Why are you out here all alone? " Lucas' eyes darted around the forest. I wanted to tell him I was not alone, was he blind to my company? However, Blake was nowhere around us, I was not even aware that he had left us.
"Was someone harassing you here," Zena said she was moving around as if searching for something or someone.
"Why do you ask?" I replied
"I just sensed the presence of another wolf, a powerful one." She replied, her eyes roaming around us.
"Let's get back to the pack, everyone is waiting for you." Lucas held my hand as he spoke.
"I can't go back." I shook my head vehemently. "At least not for now." I declared
"Your father is worried. And the elders have insisted that the ceremony would not hold until you come back. You are our alpha and the host so you must be there." Lucas was exasperated.
"Even though I am hurting?" I murmured, casting my eyes down.
He gently placed his hands on my shoulder. "You are stronger than you give yourself credit for."
I lifted my head and the compassion I saw in his eyes tamed my worries. It felt better knowing that some people got my back and as if reading my mind, Zena and Catherine came forward and hugged me.
"Let's go then, we have a festival to host." I led them out of the forest even though I appeared bold and strong, I was a bit worried about how to face my pack and our guest.

AT THE BLUE MOON PACK HALL (Narrators pov)
Everyone was getting anxious as they waited for Amanda to return. When she fled the arena after Dimitri threw her to the floor during their duel that did not last long. The elders ushered everyone back to the hall and when everyone was seated, the eldest amongst them informed Amanda's father that the ceremony would not continue until his daughter came back.
"But the marking of the other mates can take place without Amanda since her mate has canceled on her." Saying the last word had him hurting more for his child.
"You know it does not work that way Caleb, the Bluemoon pack is the host, and your daughter as alpha has to be present. Even if she won't be participating as a bride." The elder said
Caleb nodded in understanding and summoned Lucas, one of his daughter's best friends; they had been friends since they were just kids. He also asked Zena and Catherine to go with him in search of Amanda.
Zena and Catherine were trained warriors and had the skills to sniff out whomever they were searching for and they also had great respect for Amanda.
Susan had wanted to tag along but Caleb refused her to join. She was not agile on her feet and they needed no casualties, especially avoidable ones.

"Your daughter has been gone for more than an hour now. We are all getting impatient." An elder from one of the visiting packs said. Some was murmuring around the hall. No one was listening to anyone as they all spoke at once.
"Alpha Amanda has shown she is weak, she has also shown that she is not a good warrior which we all witnessed earlier," Dimitri said to the crowd, he had a high baritone voice which made it easy for his voice to overshadow that of others. "She won't come back till we are all gone, she is broken and ashamed. I suggest we get on with the event without her."
There was silence, followed by whispering. Amanda's father shook his head in refusal, he wanted to speak but was stopped. It was as if the elders were beginning to feel the same way as Dimitri who had an arrogant smirk on his face.
"Since Amanda is nowhere to be found. I…"
"I am here now." Amanda cut him off. "I am sorry for what happened earlier, I let my guard down and I promise this is the last time it will happen." She made a point to stare down at Dimitri as she spoke.
"Since you are here then, let the mating ceremony begin. We have only a few hours left to conclude before the blood moon comes out which would usher us into the Thargelia rituals." The eldest amongst them said.
Amanda took her seat at the main table and the Luna ceremony kicked off. The couples willing to mark their mates were ushered forward, it was time to start the ceremony.
"Stop, I am here to claim my Luna, Amanda." Alpha Williams shouted.
EPILOGUEDays had slowly turned into weeks, and Amanda had gradually reacquainted herself with the rhythms of pack life. She had taken the rabbit she had rescued as her pet, however, Amanda started to notice some subtle strange things about the rabbit. Its eyes displayed a curious intelligence and an almost knowing gaze. But what truly startled her was when she heard the rabbit speak. For a moment, Amanda doubted her ears, wondering if her mind was playing tricks on her. The rabbit's speech seemed implausible, a fragment of her dreams seeping into reality. Yet, the undeniable truth remained that the rabbit had spoken to her.As days passed, Amanda couldn't shake the feeling that the rabbit was trying to convey something important. She had repeated dreams about the rabbit, and each time there was a plea for help. Intrigued, yet doubtful, Amanda couldn't keep these strange occurrences to herself. She knew she had to share it with Drake. And so, she confided in him about the talking rab
A sense of foreboding washed over Amanda as she emerged from the portal back into the heart of the Shadow Pack territory. But something was amiss. Her keen eyes, sharpened by her experiences, quickly noticed the signs. The pack grounds bore traces of recent turmoil. She saw scorch marks on the ground, snapped branches, and displaced soil - clear indicators of a struggle. Her heart raced as she ventured deeper into the territory. Anxiety knotted in her chest, and her thoughts spiraled into a whirlwind of confusion. Had the battle with Dimitri's forces reached their home during her absence? The mere thought sent a shiver down her spineAs she continued forward, the extent of the damage became clearer. Buildings bore the marks of fire and claws, yet strangely, the destruction seemed minimal. Amanda couldn't shake the feeling that something extraordinary had occurred in her absence. The damage, rather than a sign of defeat, hinted at a victorious transformation. She moved through the terr
As Amanda and Drake were preparing to leave the sorcerer's home, he stopped them abruptly and gently placed a hand on Amanda's stomach. In a calm but knowing tone, he shared that he could sense the presence of another wolf around her. This revelation immediately sent waves of concern through Amanda and Drake.Seeing their worry, the sorcerer hastened to reassure them, explaining there was no need to be afraid. The reason for Amanda's scent was not an intruder or a threat; it was because she was pregnant. For a brief moment, joy and happiness filled the room as the significance of this news settled in.However, their elation was soon tempered by their mission's weight and the dangers ahead. Drake, deeply concerned for Amanda's safety, made it clear that he couldn't allow her to proceed with the dangerous task that awaited them. The sorcerer acknowledged Drake's fears about Amanda embarking on this perilous journey, especially now that she was pregnant. He emphasized that it wouldn't be
Amanda had a dream where everything appeared magical and surreal. She wandered through a strange land where the moonlight illuminated everything, making it appear mysterious and beautiful. While exploring, she encountered a celestial being - the Moon Goddess, who was radiant and ethereal. Amanda was filled with awe and trepidation as she knelt before this divine presence, her voice trembling with emotion."Mother Goddess," Amanda began, her words echoing through the dreamlike expanse, "I'm asking you with all my heart to listen to me. Our wolf kingdom is in a terrible state. There's a war caused by a very mean wolf named Dimitri. Our lands are hurt, and our hearts are full of sadness."Amanda's voice was heavy with emotion as she pleaded, "We long for healing and peace to return to our lands. Our love for the kingdom surpasses the darkness that has befallen us. Please assist us in finding our way back to the harmony we once knew.”The Moon Goddess extended a hand, delicate and yet im
MY LUNA “Because of your father and his wife, and I am convinced that Cassandra was involved too, we stayed apart. I craved for you, My wolf went ballistic because of your rejection and I nearly caused unrepairable damage to my reputation and to the entire pack because of the vengeance in me. Today Jane, I promise to revenge for all the pain and atrocities your family has committed against you, and against us.” Alpha William said as he stormed Jane’s home, with Jane following closely behind. She feared he would do something drastic and might kill them all as she had never seen him so angry. As they approached her home and as soon as Cassandra saw Alpha William, she thought perhaps he had come to apologize and to ask her to become his luna. She ran to him but was disappointed when he shoved her aside totally ignoring her. He had one purpose, and it was to confront Jane's father, Dave. He found Dave in the corner of the room, a mix of surprise and apprehension on his face as the impos
WHAT THE HEART WANTSThe mating ceremony of Alpha Derek and Jane was in full swing. The arrangement and planning of the event had been orchestrated meticulously, with Cassandra and Evangeline taking the lead. They both seemed elated to see Jane being married off to Alpha Derek, the union was expected to help Cassandra get back to Alpha William. However, Jane's demeanor stood in stark contrast to that of her stepmother and her niece Cassandra. She wore a forced smile, her eyes betraying her lack of enthusiasm. While her family reveled in the joyful occasion, Jane's heart felt heavy, she could not shake off the feeling of doom that lingered in her heartAlpha Derek, only seemed interested in flirting with everyone both male and female, especially Jane. When he leaned in close, attempting to steal a kiss, but Jane turned her head away, rejecting his kiss. Her discomfort was evident, but Alpha Derek's persistence knew no bounds. He gripped her face firmly and kissed her forcefully taking
