Ava

I tried to pull my hand away but was incapable of doing so. The pain continued for what felt like an eternity. Tears streamed down my face, I started to whimper in agony. It felt as though the pain was never going to end, but at some point it did.

With one final tug, I was free from its grasp and dropped to the floor. I curled up into a ball holding my hand close to my chest, crying and trying to control my breath.

“No, don't cry. You should be happy. You've won” The same voice spoke calmly.

I lifted my head from my arms and opened my eyes, only to be greeted by the sound of the door being opened. I wiped the tears from my cheeks and didn't waste any time crawling to the door and out of it.

When I made it out, I was immediately in front of the king and the council.

How was that possible? I remember being pulled towards a different room when I was taken in so how was out and in front of them.

No one moved when they saw my bloodied figure, a few looked shocked and most looked angry,

Unknown “How do you know this?” I stared at the man in front of me, not wanting to believe it was true.“Our ally told me” He confirmed my thoughts as he spoke, a smug grin on his face. “I thought they were rumors until I confirmed what he said.”“And just how did you verify that?” The words sounded more like an accusation than I intended them to be. Ava had been banished for being unfaithful. It sounded like there was foul play because the Ava I knew was a pair of two goody two-shoes. Or maybe she had been pretending the whole time.Always acting like she was the perfect sister, the one who could help others and make them happy. But she had also made it clear that she was a selfish little bitch with her eyes on power. And now banished?I didn't care about the banishment. But having no idea where she was? Now that was important.I looked up to find him looking at me with concern.“Are you okay?” He asked trying to touch while he stared at me like he would catch something if he

Alpha ReubenAfter the meeting with my people. They thought Uther was innocent but I know what I saw and how I had seen it. Uther gave the story that Ava had tried to seduce him and that she was unfit for this community. But he didn't make the rules, I did. This was not the first time I heard news like this about him but this was the first time I had caught him. The people believed him. Of course they will.I stopped by Ava's room. She was sleepingIt was only when I tried to close the door that I noticed something strange. Her eyes were suddenly open and were moving from side to side and not in a pleasant way, they were darting left and right, almost like an animal, searching for danger. She looked like she was in pain, but more than that she looked terrified.“Ava?” I moved to tap her gently but it didn't seem like she could hear me.“What is going on?” The fear was there in my voice and her eyes were beginning to close.Something was off about it and I couldn't tell what it was,

Ava I was in my room one afternoon when there was a knock on the door, I thought Alpha Reuben came back.“Alpha Reuben?” No response except the constant knock.“Alpha , are you back already?” I got up and walked towards the door with slow steps, the knock became more urgent. When I finally opened the door, I came face to face with Madam Rosalie .My face fell and fear stabbed me.“Good afternoon ma'am “ I managed to greet without stuttering and I got no response from her, I wasn't even surprised.“Ava?” her cold voice and eyes lingered all over my face until they landed on my belly causing me to wrap my hands around it protectively. As it was going to ease the harshness of her glare. I looked away from her newly permed hair to her face with its perfect cherry cheeks. I took in the light freckles on her cheeks and nose that only seemed brighter under the summer sun that shone through the window.. I could sense the hatred radiating off of her with each passing second. This woman want

AvaToday I felt overwhelmed and for the first time, I decided to take a walk out of the room I had been confined to for weeks . As I made my way down the hallway, fate machinery had something else in store for me .As I turned into the corridor that led towards the stairs leading up to the door at the end of the hall opened, and that was when I saw him.I knew I would recognize that face anywhere.I began to walk fast, not wanting to risk seeing him but he had seen me.I knew he had because his pace increased and soon he had me cornered.“Going somewhere?” I hated how he looked at me. I wrapped my arms around myself protectively.“Outside” I muttered , avoiding eye contact. My eyes were fixed on a spot over his shoulder. I couldn’t bear to look him in the face. His hand tried to reach for my waist but I hit it off instinctively. I was still shaking. He grabbed my face instead. “Look at me”, he commanded.I was too scared to disobey. “Look at me”, he demanded again. He was still

Unknown After that night of celebration, the rays of sunlight streamed from the slits of the curtain, landing on my face. I blinked a few times before opening my eyes. I turned to the right.“Ughh…” I moaned, stretching my back. I haven’t slept this well in ages, considering that I had been mostly up, helping him plan and plot destruction.Oh Avery Demetrius, what a force you are, I thought gleefully to myself.I sighed dreamily when I thought of how much power I would have when this was all over before closing my eyes again. When I opened them again, I noticed someone standing in the doorway, watching me intently. I let a lazy smile play on my lips as I saw it was my king and his beautiful eyes. They were the only thing worth looking at on his face.He had been attentive to me since the plan worked. He had ensured everything was going fine for me. At this point, I wasn't even sure of how I felt about this man staring at me from the doorway. He looked all dressed up as usual in hi

AvaIt was a deep slumber indeed, it felt so good and believing. Yawning and stretching on my bed, I placed my legs roughly on the floor. Then I froze, expecting the sharp pain of the sprained ankle to engulf me but it did not.I stared down at my leg in horror and surprise, slowly pushing myself up.My ankle was completely healed and completely whole! I ran my hand over my knee, my fingers grazing the faint traces of scar tissue that had once marked the place. So much happened in such a short time that I barely had time to process most of it. It must have been hours since Camille made me fall asleep, whatever she had applied to my body seemed to work. I didn't fall asleep to any nightmare in the woods, and now my leg was completely healed.I felt myself do a spin in my room, my excitement bubbling within me as I felt light as air, almost weightless as I moved my arms and torso. When I reached my mirror, I stopped and looked into it, admiring what reflected me which was rare, in fact
