With each passing day, Giovanni was beginning to lose hope about seeing his brother again. He had organized a search party to search the whole of Palermo and so far they had found nothing. Giovanni tucked his suit perfectly as he was accompanied by some armed men from the airport to the godfather's building. He got into the car provided by the godfather before the driver drove off to the godfather's mansion.They arrived at the mansion fifteen minutes later. The driver drove past the heavily secured gate before parking at one corner in the big parking lot. The mansion was a large building built with 19th century architecture. There were many water fountains at different sides of the mansion. Different flowers lined the path from the parking lot to the foyer. Different armed men stood at different sections of the premises when their guns hung on their necks. Giovanni's eyes fed on the different areas of the mansion as he walked to the door, accompanied by two soldiers. This was his first visit here and he could tell that it was four times larger than his mansions back at Palermo.“This way” the guard's robotic voice guided him as they took the right side of the building

The limo was prepared on the orders of the godfather and some minutes later the guard returned to inform him.“Let's go.” the godfather said, already out of his chair. He walked out of the door, followed by Giovanni. They walked over to the staircase and he started climbing down, making Giovanni think why a man with one good leg will choose to walk down a set of stairs inconveniently rather than use the lift. They walked down the stairs in two minutes arriving at the long passage downstairs. The passage had many doors that led to different rooms in the building.“This way” Lucas Toto, the godfather called, walking towards a door at the end of the passage. He placed his fingerprint on the scanner and it beeped, opening up. “The valley of death?” Alessio asked in surprise. He had heard stories of the valley of death, but he never knew it really existed. The name had been changed about eighty years ago.“Yes. He lowered the window of the car and stared at the men who nodded at him before allowing him entry. The gate was opened wide for him and he drove in, parking his car in a comfortable position.
