Chapter 13.1: The date that isn't a date

The next morning Aiden woke up early feeling particularly energetic. It was like one of those '00 movies or pillow commercials, the boy waking up refreshed and smiling as if he had had the best sleep of his life. Who the hell wakes up smiling like that? Even though it took longer than expected and it didn't play out as he had imagined it, the outcome still was pretty pleasant. In the end, Ryder did become his girlfriend. Aiden finally managed to capture the girl. The days of suffering were finally over.
