Chapter 17.1: Attack and retreat

Midnight looked at Ryder and just didn't know how to deal with this girl anymore. How can she come to such a conclusion after two barely muttered words from him? How can she even do that? Is that even doable? What is this? A Sherlock Holmes episode? I didn't sign up for this, okay?
