Lana's POV

The little caresses never ended till we reached our destination.

I was thinking it might be a date or a small house party with a few other billionaires here and there, but the scenario I saw took the words out of my mouth.

“Listen very carefully to this….” He said, still sitting with the coolest undisturbed face anyone could ever have.

Then he adjusted his tie. “Never leave my side no matter what!” His voice got deeper.

“There are people here. A lot of eyes and paparazzi in there. N

Adrian didn’t just take me; he took me. From every angle possible. He left bold statements on me with every thrust he took. Trying to brand me for himself alone. He knew what he was doing. But I enjoyed it.I wanted him to kiss me like he loved me.Scratch that he never did love that's what he said.So I told him instead to fuck me like he hated me. He wouldn't deny me that would he?I had requested for that but now I wouldn't say I regretted it because it was fun. But I'd have my body to heal from the sores I've gotten for days.Because he listened. And had stripped away the Lana that the word had seen and rebranded me to a version that belonged to him— breathless and sore.He had pounded into me with a dark intensity and a rhythm that felt to me less like passion and more like he was reclaiming his territory. And when he had finished, I lost my balance. I couldn't find my footing. My knees were like water, and that "pink bud" in-between my legs kept throbbing hard.I'm glad it

Lana's POV "Adrian, the cameras..." I whispered, wanting to move a little away from him. I could hear the little tremble in my voice as the shutters continued to click. "You remember what you told me. You said….""I said many things, Lana," Adrian interrupted, his voice still very smooth, with a low rumble that didn't match the predatory look in his eyes. He didn't bother to look at the photographers or even the people who had stopped their brief conversation. He was still staring at his son with a look of satisfaction in his eyes."But plans changed when someone tried to piss me off. Forgetting I could destroy him with the tip of my fingers."He didn't wait for me to recover before he gripped my hand with his hot and calloused palm and led me toward the upper deck of the yacht. As we moved, the music from the lounge began to fade, replaced by the heavy thrum of the engine and the rhythmic slap of the dark waves against the hull."Adrian, wait!" Michael’s voice cracked behind us

Lana's POV I stared at the mirror for long straight minutes.Looking at the girl before me.Criticizing and applauding myself.Trying to take in deep breaths and calm this racing heart of mine.I washed my fingers, retouched my lip gloss, and straightened my shoulder ready to go back out there and face the silent scanning eyes that didn't seem like they saw but were definitely fixed on me.But it seems what you fear most comes looking for you. That particular figure, the one that had stirred emotions, was standing there.Talking with him, Adrian.Although he was slightly taller than Adrian, it was obvious who controlled the room.Adrian stood with his hands in his pockets, the suit accentuating the curves of his shoulders.Big and broad. The air in the restroom had been cool, but out here, it felt like every tiny bit of it had been sucked out of the room.I stood there at the side of the lounge feeling paralyzed.I couldn't feel any single bone in me again.Even the breath I worked s

A lot of eyes and paparazzi in there. No one expects I'd show up, so you must play calm. Don't make me look like I've lost my control”. He paused, still looking straight. “Is that clear!”My attention had shifted from the beauty that was before to the way and manner in which this man spoke to me.He had never talked in such a condescending tone to me before. As if I were one of his employees, he could throw oorders to.The grip on my clutch tightened so hard that my knuckles almost turned white. It felt like the little caresses ear

Lana's POV I couldn’t stop staring at the note.8 pm.That was barely two hours away.“Open the other one!” she demanded.I reached for the navy-blue box, but this one was a little heavier. When I lifted the lid, I swear the room seemed to brighten. There was a jewelry case inside.Diamonds.Actual diamonds.A necklace with a single pear-shaped diamond pendant and matching stud earrings was followed by a slim, delicate bracelet that held the light in the room. All of my life I had never owned diamonds. Not even fake ones this pretty.Blue went quiet for a few seconds.Guess she was as speechless as I was.“Lana…” she whispered again.Next to the jewelry case was a pair of heels. They were silver. With straps. And thin heels that screamed confidence and danger. “This is definitely not a date,” Blue said. “ I'm sure it's an event.”My chest tightened.First, he cleared our debts. Then sent this? Now he wants to pick me up.I looked at Blue. She looked at me.Then we both started squea

Lana's POV The ride back home was quiet. I saw blue on a call, pacing back and forth in the living room, something serious had happened. God knew I couldn't take one more bad news. It was enough already! I mean… Can I just have a day out of all this? I sighed again, for like the millionth time that day since my encounter with Michael, as I sat at the table waiting for her to finish her call. Sometimes she'd look at me and a small line would form between her brows. I didn't know if it was out of worry, or confusion I just tried to act calm, but I knew I was damn terrible at that. I'm the last person on earth who would notice an issue was up and act calm. Anyone who looked at me even from a mile away would see it clearly from my face that I had something on my plate to deal with. And I guess right now I couldn't control the look of fear written bodily on my face. “That won't be a problem. Thank you, Mr. Carlson” she ended the call. “What's the matter now? You sounded se

“I'll sign it.” I paused.“But under one condition”.His eyes narrowed…. Dangerous. Amused. Intrigued. He leaned forward slightly, then the stood up. His towering frame casting a shadow over me . Then a low chuckle rumbled in his chest. “You don't get to make conditions”. He reached out gripping

Lana's POV Since we left the lake I didn't say a word. The ride down was smooth and quiet, and thankfully he didn't try to bring up any conversation which I was so grateful for but now I was worried. Could I still use my vocals? Because that's the deepest anything had gone down my throat.By the t

Lana's POV “I'd say this and say it once Lana” his voice had become unusually deep making me swallow hard on my spit.“The only person you should worry about his opinion is ME!!!”He moved closer still composed as usual “I don't care what they think of you. Lana's POV I felt like he had already known more than enough about what was going on in my life. I mean, I know we're now married, and he's the one helping out with everything, but it's still my life. And the fact remains that he's still a stranger to me. So I stepped away from him a little.
