Ari’s POV

I knew it was going to be a problem the second I saw my reflection in the mirror.

Neck, collarbone, just under my ear—dark bruises everywhere. Purple smudges like spilled ink. They stood out against my skin in ugly, bold shapes. No scarf, no collar, no tugged-up neckline could cover all of them.

I tugged at my shirt anyway, pulling the fabric up high as if it might magically stretch enough to hide me. My ears twitched nervously, heat crawling up my face.

Thorne leaned against the doorway, arms folded. Watching me like I was a puzzle he’d already solved.

“You’re wasting your time,” he said, voice lazy but sharp.

“I can’t—” My words stuck in my throat. I turned away from him, ears flat. “I can’t go out there like this.”

“Yes, you can.”

“I’ll look—look like—” My chest tightened. “Like I belong to someone.”

“You do.” His tail flicked once behind him, slow and deliberate. “And everyone should know it.”

I froze. My ears twitched upright before falling flat again. “Thorn

  • Claimed By The Predator   The Thought Of Leaving

Ari’s POVThe door clicked shut behind us, muffling the cafeteria noise until it was just us, just the sound of my pulse in my ears.My room was still the same—plain, too quiet, too small—but with Thorne here, pressed against me, it felt different. He filled the space, made the walls feel smaller, the air heavier. I should’ve been suffocating. But instead, I breathed easier.I dropped my bag on the desk and sat on the bed. Thorne followed without hesitation, dragging me down until I was tucked against his chest like it was where I belonged.Maybe it was.I curled closer, cheek pressed to the steady rise and fall of his breathing. His tail brushed against my legs, his hand stroking the curve of my back in slow, absent passes.“You’re too much,” I muttered into his shirt, but the way my fingers clung to the fabric gave me away. His chest rumbled with a low chuckle. “And you’re still here.”I tilted my head, meeting his gaze with a glare that wasn’t half as strong as I wanted it to be. “

  • Claimed By The Predator   Predators Claim

Thorne’s POVThe whispers followed us out of lecture. I heard them. Every hushed voice, every stolen glance. They were all the same—speculating, laughing, too curious for their own good. And every single one of them needed to learn.Ari kept his eyes on the floor, his steps too quick, ears twitching with nerves. I stayed close behind, my hand on his wrist, my tail brushing his hip every few strides just to remind him: he wasn’t walking alone. He never would again.By the time we reached the cafeteria, his stomach growled loud enough that he winced. I smirked.“Told you skipping breakfast was a mistake,” I muttered. He glanced back at me, flustered. “I was—distracted!”My grin sharpened. “Oh, I know.”His face burned red. “Thorne—!”I cut him off by steering him into the lunch line, ignoring the few students who shuffled back to give us space. Good. They should.Ari fiddled with the strap of his bag, pretending not to notice all the eyes on us. But I noticed. I noticed everything.Espe

  • Claimed By The Predator   Marked By Morning

Thorne’s POVThe rabbit didn’t even realize what he’d done to me.That one whisper — maybe I don’t want to go anyway — slid under my skin like a blade and lodged there, impossible to pull out.Mine.I didn’t give him a choice after that. My tail stayed wound around his waist as I dragged us up, ignoring his sleepy protests, and steered him down the hall to my room. He stumbled along, ears twitching nervously, but he didn’t resist. Not once.Good.He perched on the edge of my bed like he didn’t know if he was allowed, hands twisting in his lap. Too small. Too breakable. My clothes would swallow him whole—“Shower,” I said. My voice came out low, rougher than I meant. “Use mine.”His eyes widened. “Y–yours?”“Obviously.” My gaze sharpened, daring him to argue. “Go on, little rabbit. I’ll wait.”He slipped past me hesitantly, vanishing into the bathroom. The sound of running water started a moment later. And I stood there, jaw clenched, nails digging into my palms. The thought of him in

  • Claimed By The Predator   Tangled Mornings

Ari’s POVI didn’t mean to fall asleep like that.Curled up against him, face pressed to his chest, the steady thrum of Thorne’s heartbeat beneath my ear. His arms locked tight around me as if I might disappear if he loosened them even a little. But I didn’t want to leave.I buried my face deeper, inhaling his scent — warm, sharp, heavy with something that always made my head spin. It was wrong, probably. Too much. Too close. But God, I wished I could stay like that forever. Wrapped up, hidden away, safe where no one could reach me but him.For once, my dreams weren’t loud or messy. They were quiet. Just the rise and fall of his chest. Just the faint rumble of his breath. And then morning came. The soft glow from the window dragged me out of sleep, though my body refused to move. My ears twitched in protest as I blinked blearily up at the light. Thorne’s grip hadn’t eased in the slightest. If anything, he’d tightened around me in his sleep.I sighed. Class. Again.Shifting carefully,

  • Claimed By The Predator   Claimed In The Silence

Thorne’s POVHe kissed me.The little rabbit actually kissed me.Not an accident. Not me forcing it out of him. He leaned in, trembling all the while, and pressed his lips to my skin like he chose it. Like he wanted it.For the first time in years, my brain blanked.Me—Thorne—who’d spilled blood without flinching, who’d torn grown men apart without a second thought—was undone by something as soft as Ari’s mouth brushing my cheek.Dangerous, I’d called him. I hadn’t lied.Because the danger wasn’t in what he could do to me physically—it was in how easily he slipped under my skin. How he made me want things I’d buried long ago.My arms tightened around him, instinctive, possessive. I felt his pulse fluttering fast beneath his skin, heard the way his breath hitched when I spoke. And still—he stayed.Did he know what that did to me? Did he understand what it meant, for a prey animal to walk into the predator’s den willingly? To seek me out?God, I could feel his cotton tail twitching agai
