“Congratulations, she gave birth to a girl,” the Doctor announced, and Maxon sprang out of his deep thoughts and the uncomfortable chair he had been sitting on.

His gaze fell on the doctor, who he could tell was also a werewolf, and his soul shivered because his inevitable hell was drawing close.

Well, he had been facing hell ever since he found out Takashi’s true nature. And that purgatory would burn hotter because he would never get to know why she did those things. However, Takashi was only a fraction of his hell. The biggest part was Catherine and his brother Rune.

Maxon was not entirely stupid. He could tell everything that had happened in the last couple of days played out that way because he took a severely injured Rune to the human president. He was at fault, and his brother would certainly punish him for it.
