Chapter 31

Adolfa's POV

I ran through the forest, my wasn't at rest. The night was dark, and the trees whispered secrets I couldn't understand. Behind me, the sounds of battle faded, but the pain in my chest remained. Rensin had sacrificed himself so I could escape. I had to keep moving.

The Raven Portal shimmered ahead, a swirling vortex of black and purple light. It pulsed with energy, calling to me. I hesitated for a moment, remembering Rensin's last words.

"Go, Adolfa. Save yourself."

I stepped into the portal, and the world around me vanished.

I emerged in a different forest, one unfamiliar and eerie. The trees here were taller, their branches intertwining to block out the moonlight. The air was thick with mist, and the ground was damp beneath my feet.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. I was alone now, truly alone. But I couldn't afford to dwell on that. I had to find shelter and figure out my next move.

As I walked, I noticed strange markings on the trees—symbol

Chapter 30Rane's POVThe moon was high in the sky, casting a soft white light over the forest. Leaves rustled quietly around me as I ran through the trees. Every step I took was careful and fast. I had a mission from Lord Ugarh. A serious one. I couldn’t fail again. I had already messed up once, and I didn’t have time to do it again. In my hand, I held a sealed message. I pulled it close to my chest. The parchment was marked with Ugarh’s crest. It glowed slightly, a sign of the blood magic sealed inside. It was dangerous. If it fell into the wrong hands—especially the foxes—everything Ugarh planned would be ruined. And it would be my fault.I ran faster. The trees opened up a little as I got closer to the ridge. That’s when I stopped.Too late. They were already waiting.Six of them.Tall. Lean. Their bodies looked human, but they were covered in fur. Their eyes glowed orange, like small fires. These weren’t regular foxes. They were Spirit Foxes—fighters from the darkest parts of the

Chapter 29Azanlin's POVAs Azanlin stepped out from the glowing veil of the spirit portal, he breathed hard, tired to the bone. The air around him crackled with old power, still humming from his journey. The twin protection spells he had placed over Lord Ugarh's kingdom and his own land still glowed faintly. That meant they held strong. A small but important win.The sky above looked clearer than before. The haunting whispers from the Spirit Realm were gone. He stood on the burned plateau where it all began. The air still carried the smell of ash and spirit magic. His escape had come at a cost.Footsteps rushed across the hard ground. "Azanlin!" a familiar voice called.Lord Ugarh, dressed in his battle robe, walked up fast, hope in his eyes. When their eyes met, his hope turned into shock, then relief."You're alive. Thank the spirits," Ugarh said, gripping his shoulder tight."Barely," Azanlin muttered. His voice was rough from the hot winds of the portal.Ugarh looked up at the sk

Chapter 28Rensin's POVI laid Adolfa gently on the bed of enchanted feathers. Her breath was soft, almost silent. The ritual of slumber had worked. For now, her spirit rested, safe and untouched by the chaos above. The darkness of the Greko Pack, the madness of Alpha Lyran, and the burning hatred of Luna Prese were too dangerous for her in this moment. She needed to stay hidden, asleep, sealed from both mortal and spirit interference.I kissed her forehead and whispered, "Forgive me. I must leave. But I will return."With a final glance, I turned to the sacred runes drawn across the floor, their glowing marks pulsing with spirit energy. I closed my eyes and placed my palm at the center. The ancient words fell from my lips, and a blinding vortex of golden light swirled beneath me.My soul lifted from my body. The Spirit World welcomed me with a violent pull. My surroundings twisted and dissolved into the shimmering void. It felt like falling through light and shadow all at once. Every

Chapter 27Prese's POVThe sun hadn't even touched the edge of the sky when I stepped out of my chambers, dressed in the shortest skirt I owned. Skimpy, black, and hugging my curves like a second skin. My blouse was practically sheer, leaving nothing to the imagination. My lips were painted a dark red, and my hair flowed like a storm behind me. Every step I took echoed with intent. Today, I would get what I wanted.Alpha Lyran. For years, I had devoted myself to him. From childhood to adulthood, I stood by him, supported him, worshipped him. He was power. He was fire. He was everything. And yet, he remained cold to me, untouched by my beauty, my loyalty, my body. But not today.I entered the war chamber, hips swaying, eyes locked on him. He sat at the far end, going through reports, barely looking up. I sauntered toward him and bent just enough for my blouse to dip dangerously low. "Alpha Lyran," I purred. He didn’t look up."You work too hard," I whispered, placing a hand on his shou

Chapter 26Alpha Lyran's POVThe moonlight came through the high windows of the northern place of Greko Pack, casting huge glow on the blood-stained floor. I was still breathing hard. I stood over the shaking body of the WereFox girl. Her copper-colored hair stuck to her sweaty face. Her limbs twitched, weak and worn. She had satisfied me—better than most. But that wasn't enough."You reminded me of her," I said, kneeling beside her. I touched the bruises on her hips. She flinched. "Adolfa. But you’re not her."She didn’t reply. Her lips shook."Look at me."Slowly, her eyes, full of fear and pain, met mine."Did she send you?"She shook her head. That was enough for me.I stood, pulled the dagger from my thigh, and stabbed her in the chest. Her body arched once. Then she was still.I wiped the blade on her torn clothes. Another ghost gone. The guards waited outside. "Burn the body. And bring me the list of every slave who has talked to Adolfa.""Yes, Alpha."I walked to the dark cham
