Rogue kingdom.

7 p.m.

Four long years had passed.

Four years since that fateful night Lena lost everything —her identity, her home, her pack. And in those four years, she had become someone different, someone new.

The Rogue king had proven to her that not all heroes wear cape. He had taken her into his kingdom and unlike the horror, the molestation she had expected as the Rogues who found her dragged her back, he had not treated her as a prisoner, a slave or his plaything.

Immediately he saw her trembling in their grasp with a tear-streaked face, Lucian Vargan, crouched down beside her, taking in her dishealved state. He wasn't always soft but there was something about her, something distinct that tugged at him in ways he didn't expect—maybe because she was the same age as his daughter. He gave her a soft smile, much to the surprise of everyone present.

Lucian Vargan nursed her back to health, gave her a new home and even named her anew—Aurora—which means a new beginning. Lena had accepted the name even though she knew a new beginning was a luxury which she couldn't afford.

In the Rogue kingdom, she was not a lost princess but a survivor who had grown into a strong, formidable woman. She had managed to earn the people's love and respect, and even the king himself had raised her as if she were his own daughter.

Although Lena was eternally grateful to Lucian but she knew she was always a Whitmore. She would never forget who she truly was or the events that led her here. She was Lena Whitmore the daughter of Alpha Callum and Luna Lilly Whitmore.

She had told the Rogue king she had no memories of her past life to keep herself safe. It was a lie she maintained all these years. The truth, the hatred, and the silent vow of vengeance, she carried was hers alone to bear and deal with as she pleases.

Tonight, at the grand dining hall, she sat at the head of the long table as she ate together with the Rogue king and his children—Selena and Darius. The feast was lively, laughter and chatter filling the air.

The Rogue king dropped his cutlery, wipping his mouth with a napkin before dipping his hand into his inner pocket. He handed her an envelope, a glimpse of warmth in his eyes. "Aurora," he called quietly.

Lena who was focused on her meal, looked up. "What is it , father?" She asked, her tone curious.

"Open it," he said, his deep voice drawing the attention of Selena and Darius.

Lena blinked and quickly took it, tearing the envelope open. The moment her eyes landed on the words inside, she gasped with excitement. It was an admission letter to Blackthorne Academy.

She jumped up from her seat. Her joy uncontrollable. "I got in! I really got in!" Without thinking she threw her arms around the king in gratitude.

"Thank you so much father," she said, her voice brimming with joy.

"No, don't thank me, Aurora. I know how much you wanted this."

In the past two years, Lena had tried everything to get into the Blackthorne Academy but all to no avail. The school was a place known for it's years of tradition—it's only attended by the children of elite and the most powerful werewolf family in the kingdom. Lucian seeing her determination to want to study at the Academy had gone extra miles by buying her a slot just like he did for his daughter.

But before another word could be exchanged, an angry voice cut through the moment. "Why would she attend the same academy as me?" Selena rose from her seat, fury etched on her beautiful features.

Selena had always hated Lena. She had believed she stole her father and brother's love from her. She was jealous of Lena—her beauty, her strength, her strong wolf and even the way the people had accepted her—Lena had stolen the attention meant for her. She and her friends would always bully Lena secretly. Lena would allow them most times, not because she was weak but because she understood Selena's insecurities. Everyone would have reacted the same way, if they woke up one morning to discover that someone else was sharing in the life meant for them.

The joy on Lena's face wash off as she turned to face Selena. "Selena, wait—"

"Stay away from me!" She spat, her eyes blazing. "You don't belong there. You don't belong here." Without another word, she stormed out of the hall.

Lucian and Darius could only watch in disbelief.

Lena hesitated only for a moment before following her. She caught up with her in the hallway and reached out, hoping to explain. "Selena, please, I—"

A sharp slap echoed through the air.

Lena's head snapped to the side, her cheek stinging. Selena's voice trembled with anger. "FUCK. OFF."

Lena said nothing as always. There was no point. She turned away, heading for her room instead. As she shut the door behind her, her lips curled into a slow, determined smile. She did a break dance around her room, her joy uncontrollable.

Blackthorne Academy.

The first thing she did when Lucian gifted a phone several years ago was to research about those triplets. It was futile at first. But the Moon Goddess was on her side when she scrolled one day and saw a post on the media. In a flash, she recognised them. How could she forget the face that burned down her life?

Since then she followed them up and discovered that they were the famous Alpha triplet and the owner of the Blackthorne Academy. Now, she would see them again. And she would destroy them.

She gritted her teeth, her fists clenched as the memories found its way back to her. Before she could dwell on it, her door creaked open and Darius walked in.

She glanced back at him forcing a smile.

"Excited for school?" He teased, smirking as he took a seat on a single couch in the room.

"Of course." She moved towards her closet, throwing some of her clothes on the bed.

Don’t mind Selena. She’s just jealous." His voice was a low murmur as he watched her fondly. Darius had feelings for Lena ever since she came but he had managed to hide it well. She was his sister and his father would kill him if he ever finds out.

"She has nothing to be jealous about. But I understand her fears anyway," she said, throwing more clothes and essentials on the bed.

"You're too kind, Aurora." He stood up, taking one last glance at her before looking away and moving towards the door. "I'll leave you to pack. I'll miss you anyway."

Lena looked back at him, stepping closer to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I'll miss you too, brother," she whispered, her breath warm against his ears.

Darius was caught off guard, his heart pounding. He hesitated for a while before leaning into the embrace. Her cologne and hair shampoo filling his nostrils making his wolf excited beneath him.

Darius shifted uncomfortably, quickly pulling away before he does something he might regret. He forced a smile at her and quickly stepped out of the room.

Aurora watched him leave, her heart heavy. She would miss the Rogue kingdom and the people here, but she knew she had to do this. Her life depended on this.

Her mission at the Academy wasn't a simple one.She had read about how powerful and domineering the triplets are, but she believed she could do it with determination and preservance.

She turned and walked back to the closet. She pulled out her box and started tucking her clothes in.

By tomorrow morning, she would be at the Academy.

She would see her enemies.

She would begin her mission, which was to destroy them.

Lena sat on the edge of her bed, her bare feet resting on the cold floor. The room was quiet, but inside her head, there was nothing but the noise of broken flashes of what happened last night.Every time she tried to piece them together, they slipped away like water running through her hands. Her heart skipped each minute. What happened to me?Still could not wrap her head around it. When she no longer knew what to do, she grabbed her phone and quickly scrolled to Selena’s contact. If anyone could tell her how the whole thing played out the previous day, it would be her.The phone rang twice before Selena picked up.“Aurora?” Selena’s voice was soft, calm, like she’d been expecting her call.Lena gripped the phone tighter. “Selena… What happened and when did you leave last night? I don’t remember much, but something is wrong. I can feel it.”Selena didn't respond immediately. Then she sighed. “You were sleeping. I didn’t want to wake you. Besides, I was tired, so I could no longer

Lena still couldn’t believe she had given in. She could still feel their touch on her skin, hear their voices echoing in her head, and remember the heat of their hands and the soft kisses they had shared. She hated herself a little for giving in so easily, for letting them take that part of her without a fight. But at the same time, she kept reminding herself—well, this was just part of the revenge. No string attached. That thought was the only thing keeping her steady. If they thought they could use her, then she would make sure to use them first. She buttoned up the new uniform given to her slowly, the fabric brushing softly against her skin. It clung to her shape, leaving her feeling both nervous and bare.“You wouldn’t have bothered to get a new uniform. I could still manage the old one,” she said softly. When she looked up and saw their eyes fixed on her, her heart skipped, beating faster under their stare. The ride home was quiet. Not the kind of silence that made you uncomforta

Inside their private gym, Kieran gently drops Lena on a training mat while Soren knelt in front of her, staring at her with concern in his eyes. Ronan stood at the corner of the room, arms folded over his strong chest, and his expression unbothered, but deep down inside him, his wolf was growling angrily—wanting to rip those who had bullied their mate apart.Kieran moved towards a locker with the plate name screaming his name—Kieran Blackthorne. He yanked it up, retrieved a small white towel and red jersey and kicked it closed. He walked back towards her and without another started wiping the water off her wet hair with the towel.Lena stared at them, her heart pounding louder than a war drum. Not in fear, but at how good it feels to have people who are genuinely concerned about her. People who would protect her and even if they are her enemies…. even if she would end up destroying them, she would bask in the feeling for now because this doesn't mean anything—it's all a scheme. A mean

The classroom was filled with soft whispers, the air carrying the smell of books, paper, and too many people in one space. Professor Halden, a tall man with grey hair and glasses that were always sliding down his nose, walked to the front with the calm confidence of someone who had taught for many years. When he began to speak, his deep voice would always draw attention, as if he were telling a story you couldn’t stop listening to.“Good morning class.” His voice boomed through the room, commanding everyone's attention.“Good morning professor,” they all responded. Today,” he began, writing The Evolution of Werewolf Packs on the board in neat, precise strokes, “we will discuss the role of the Alpha in ancient pack hierarchies.”He adjusted his glasses and turned to face the class. “Werewolves, contrary to popular myth, are not just driven by instinct. Pack structure is complex, rooted in loyalty, territory, and the mating bond….”Ronan wasn’t listening. Neither were his brothers. It

The drive was too quiet for Lena’s liking. Her hands rested in her lap, fingers twisting together, and her eyes were glued to the window even though nothing out there could really hold her focus. Soren, sitting beside her, kept glancing over every few seconds, picking up on something in her body language she couldn’t hide.“You okay?” he finally asked, voice gentle.Lena forced a smile. “I’m fine.”Soren wasn’t convinced, but before he could say more, Kieran reached across from the driver’s seat and placed a warm, steady hand against her forehead. The touch was so sudden she jerked back a bit, trying to swat him away.“Stay still,” he ordered, voice low. Lena froze under his palm, heat prickling her cheeks.Kieran’s brows drew together in focus as if measuring her temperature with that Alpha sense of his. “Normal,” he finally said, pulling away and glancing at his brothers.Ronan snorted from the back seat, arms folded. “If she’s sick, let her be sick. It’s none of my business.”Lena

Lena stood still, wondering how Kael got to know her deepest secret. What if he is aware of all her plans of revenge? Just when she was about to take her leave, Kael appeared again. He bowed slightly, “I just feel that you should know a bit about me and my little experience with the Aphas. This isn't the time to run.” Lena took a single step closer, her bare feet barely making a sound on the cold marble floor. Her heart beat so loudly she could hear it in her ears, but she didn’t flinch, this is not the time to panic. She kept her gaze locked on Kael. There was no use pretending anymore. She’d been caught.“How did you find out about me?” Her voice was quiet, her breathing became rapid.Kael leaned against the wooden pillar beside him, arms folded across his chest, his eyes were sharp, like he’d been waiting for this moment.“I know everything,” he said simply, like it was nothing.Lena tried to speak but no words came out. A strange chill danced down her spine. She has known Kael
