Chapter five:

Ariana's POV 

"Where am I?"

Those words slipped through my lips as my eyes fluttered open, the dim light of the lavish bedroom coming into full view, sunlight streaming through the window, its warm glow caressing my skin.

As my gaze swept across the room,my eyes landed on  a portrait which was hung on the wall  in the unfamiliar room.

Liam Graven! 

It was a portrait of him, the Alpha's brother.

I searched my memory for more information concerning this man but nothing came to mind.

Everything just felt surreal to me, and it made my heart ache. 

"What happened, why can't I remember?"

Soon, the bathroom door opened, pulling me from my thoughts as the sound of approaching footsteps garced my eardrums. 

Looking to the side, my eye caught on a man, and as he closeed the door behind him, and approached me, my heart was sent racing, a shiver running down my spine.

He had a towel wrapped around his lower body, yet his upper body was bare.

I forced my eyes down, trying not to see anything when his voice forced my eyes back to his face,

"Who are you?"

The instant those words rolled off his tongue, they heated up my body, traveling from my brain straight down my corenand I clenched my thighs, trying to contain the warmth pooling in between my legs.

I watched as water droplets rolled off his hair and dropped onto his chest, traveling all the way down to his waist and disappeared, something in me wanting to reach down there and just rescue those precious water droplets.

"I asked a question." His voice echoed again, and that's when I realized that he had left where he was standing and was now crowding me.

Cinnamon mixed with Olive hit my nostrils and it took all my strength not to let my legs which were already weak to the knees not to collapse to the ground.

I swallowed a hard lump of saliver as I muttered in my heard;

Gravens will not be the end of me.

He tilted his head with an unreadable expression crossing his face .

Then he grabbed my arm, and instantly, I could feel lust burst under my skin as the images of the previous night flooded my mind.

His hot lips on mine. His tongue on my tongue. Him tracing and licking my entire body with his tongue until he got down there...

Yet here he was. Draven , the man of every woman's dreams and the most eligible bachelor in this forbidden city.

My body shook slightly with fear as I took as I leaned back on the bed.

Last night, we made love together. The crazy kind where he devoured me raw like the beast he was.

But oh my goodness! What have I done?

For a moment no one moved his piercing eyes locked on me, my hands trembling.

I lost my virginity to my ex alpha brother, what was I thinking?

I just stared at him, my heart hammering against my ribs.

I have to get out of here before he recognizes me.

Without thinking I jumped out of the bed, hitting my chest against his and instantly his towel came loose and fell to the ground, and my eyes dropped there.

 

Shame surged through me but I held my head high, walking away as soon as I recovered from the shock of seeing him naked for tge second time.

"Trying to escape?" he demanded, his  voice raw cracking through the air like a whip forcing me to look into his eyes.

Then all the blood drained from my face.

"Yes. I'm leaving," I replied.

His eyes gleamed with cruel delight, his lips twisting into a smirk as his eyes turned darker. 

Before I could take a step, Liam was beside me. His fingertips brushed my cheeks, sending a strange sensation into my bloodstream.

“Liam what are you doing?” I whispered my voice creasing in frustration, his touch igniting a spark through me which travelled straight into my soul.

His hands framed my face caressing my cheekbones with tenderness stirring up something 

He deepened the touch by leaning closer,his lips crashing onto mine raw , his breath burning with lust with his large hand tangled in my hair.

I swallowed hard, breathless with tears brimming in my eyes.

“ You felt it too didn't you “ he asked, his breath was hot pressing against my neck with his body enveloped in a desire neither could control.

“ Please stop “ I whispered, pleading with him to stop but that word seemed to snap something inside him . He pulled me closer drawing me into his embrace as he tasted heavenly,a scent that was too rare to be found.

“I thought I felt but it's impossible I can never be Liam's mate who is an Alpha “ My head snapped up with his lips with a possessive desire in his eyes devouring every inch of me like a primal beast wanting to quench his hunger.

“ You taste good” he murmured against my skin, pressing hot kisses down my collarbone, his other hand sliding down my thigh then to my ear, which he nibbled sharply before my bare skin was exposed into full view to the morning sun.

Then I knew  it  my worst nightmare just began.
