Chapter 49 -

The silence in the Midnight Pack’s war chamber was suffocating.

Aria stood at the head of the long obsidian table, her knuckles white from gripping the edges.

Around her, Kael, Beta Lucien, Elder Mirka, and several elite warriors listened as the messenger’s words echoed like thunder in the quiet room.

“The Alpha King summons you to the High Council in three days.”

A war she hadn’t asked for. A bloodline she never knew existed.

“What else did the King’s envoy say?” Kael asked, his voice steady, though Aria could feel the tension pulsing from him.

The young wolf who delivered the message hesitated. “He said...the Council demands to see the Marked Luna.”

Chapter 64 – The cloaked man stepped forward, his boots echoing on the marble floor of the Court. All eyes turned toward him, but no one moved. Not even the guards. His presence sucked the air from the hall, cold and choking.Kael stood in front of Aria, eyes narrowed. “You should be dead.”The Sealed Alpha smiled.“I was dead,” he said. “Until her blood woke me.”He pointed at Aria. Her heart thumped.“Who are you?” she demanded. The man pulled back his hood.He looked no older than thirty. His eyes were pitch black, swirling like galaxies. But his scent... it was ancient. Cold. Rotten like something dug out from under a mountain.“I am Alpha Theron,” he said. “The first mate of Selena Moonshade. Your mother.”Aria froze. “What?”Theron stepped closer. “She was mine. Marked. Bound. Chosen by the Moon Goddess herself. But the King tore us apart. He forced her to reject me. She was pregnant with you, Aria.”The ground tilted beneath her.“You’re lying,” Kael growled.“No,” Theron sai

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   The Woman with Kael’s Scent

Eyes like polished emeralds. And she smelled like him.Like Kael.Aria’s wolf stirred violently beneath her skin. The woman tilted her head, her gaze sliding from Kael to Aria. Then, a smile is slow and dangerous.“So,” the woman said, voice dripping with sugar and poison, “you’re the Luna he replaced me with.”Aria didn’t flinch. “Who are you?”The woman didn’t look at her. She looked at Kael.“Well, darling? Aren’t you going to introduce us?”Kael’s jaw clenched.“Selene,” he growled. “You have no right being here.”“Oh, but I do.” Selene stepped inside the room without permission. Her red heels clicked on the floor like war drums. “The Alpha King gave me clearance.”Aria’s heart twisted. “Why?”Selene turned to her. “Because, sweet girl, I was his choice for Kael’s mate. His first Luna. Until you came along an

Chapter 62– The throne room of the Midnight Pack was silent.Aria stood beside Kael, her body tense, her eyes fixed on the golden scroll in Kael’s hand, the decree from the Alpha King. His seal, a blazing wolf wrapped in thorns, shimmered under the torchlight.Kael’s jaw clenched. His fingers dug into the parchment.“They’re summoning us to the Northern Court,” Kael growled. “We leave at dawn.”Aria’s heart pounded. “Why now?”Kael looked at her, his dark eyes flickering with something unreadable. “Because war is coming. And apparently… you’re the reason for it.”A cold wind seemed to blow through the room, even though the windows were closed.Aria stepped back. “What does that mean?”Kael turned toward her, his voice low and controlled. “It means the Alpha King knows something about your bloodline. Something even I don’t.”“But I’m just”“You’re not just anything, Aria.” His voice broke. “You’ve always been more. The mark on your shoulder, the power inside you… I felt it the moment

To lock his power away inside a bloodline… and she used a Luna to do it.”“A Luna like me,” Aria said, realizing hitting.“Yes,” Kael said. “And when I severed Lysandra’s bond, I didn’t just end the curse.
