Ester POV

After the kiss that happened that night, things has been really weird between me and Alpha William like him avoiding me or avoiding eye contact, I felt maybe I did something wrong or the kiss was not up to his standards or he regretted it, my mind was going on and on about what could have caused the distance between us.

The next morning I got up earlier than usual because I did not get enough sleep, so I did my morning routine, wore my clothes and headed out. As soon as I stepped out, I saw someone I did not think to meet. There he was, looking hot and handsome as ever, his back leaning on his car with his long legs crossed together. I would be lying if I said I don't get butterflies while looking at him because damn he is so hot.

"What are you doing here? I asked him

"I am here to pick you up " he replied

"Why?" I asked

"Because I want to, now get in" he ordered

I did as I was told and got in the car. The car ride was silent.
